Has anyone here bought maternity clothes from iMaternity.com? They have some cute clothes, and they're pretty cheap too. Just wondering about people's experiences, and the quality. TIA!

If you've been to a Motherhood Maternity store, then you have seen iMaternity's clothes. iMaternity, Maternitymall.com, Motherhood, Mimi, Pea in the Pod, Edamame Spa, Motherhod Nursingware and Destination Maternity are owned by Mothers Work, Inc.
I personally don't shop at those stores anymore because they don't carry a good enough selection of plus sized clothes. I am disappointed when I find a plethora of options available for S-XL and a handful, at best, for plus sized. There's no excuse since they not only sell the clothes, but make them too. When I spoke to the higher-ups in the company about it, I got brushed off. So, I will not shop there for the remainder of this pregnancy or any future pregnancies (when I will have lost this damned weight).

Thanks for the info lml41981.
Re: plus-sizes, I do see that they also own Plus Size Motherhood Maternity, but maybe that's only online?

Nope...some of the stores have a miniscule plus sized section, as well. Everything in the stores is also available online. Also, Plus Motherhood isn't really a separate store, but just a different section of Motherhood.
Trust me...I did my research on it. ;)

See, this is one of my biggest fears about getting pregnant - not finding any clothes! I'd love to open a plus size lingerie store and a plus size maternity store. One of my best friends suggested I call them Before and After. :)
Anyway, I wandered through Target's Maternity section last week and did see that their tops go up to 3XL. The jeans/khakis only went to 18, though. I still need to check Kmart.
Stores like Avenue and Lane Bryant need to start carrying maternity clothes.

I'm looking into what it would take to open up a plus sized maternity clothes store that offers stylish clothes for plus sized women...not the babybecoming crap and not the mere handful of styles Motherhood offers. I know I will need to take some classes on business and accounting because I never took those classes in college...
Lane Bryant's website says they offer maternity...I think it is through Fashion Bug or something...
Sorry to hijack your thread, J&K2003. More on topic...and honestly, not meant to continue to rag on them, I haven't been impressed with the quality of most of Motherhood's (or iMaternity's, by extension) clothes. They tend to shrink in the dryer...I've resorted to air drying most of my clothes.

From what I've heard before Fashion Bug and Lane Bryant are owned by the same company and Fashion Bug does have a line of plus sized maternity clothes available online and in some stores.

I bought my plus-sized swim suit from imaternity.com.
Only got to wear it one time, but I thought it was nice :)
