Jewelry with this dress?

My class reunion is this summer, and here is the dress I'm wearing (Banana Republic). I have some shoes, and I'm wondering if I need new jewelry? The model here doesn't seem to need any, but when I had it on I felt like it might need a necklace? I should mention I'm on the short side so I don't normally do clunky jewelry. TIA!

I would skip jewelry with the exception of some elegant stud earrings. The neckline of that dress would be better left standing alone. Also, the bow adds a nice touch and you really don't need any bracelets, etc.

I would probably do some dangly earrings, and maybe even a bracelet on the arm opposite the bow. If your shoes are black, you might even consider some earrings with a punch of color. Here are some ideas:

Yeah, if you're short (and with that neckline) skip the necklace and punch it up with some fun, colorful dangly earrings.

Actually, I would do it with a pair of fun shoes and coordinate the jewelry color with them.

I'd stick with classic, medium-sized pearl studs (you can buy faux).

I'd do either pearl or diamond stud earrings. Something very, very simple.

Great dress, BTW! What kind of shoes are you wearing? I picture it with a 3-4 inch strappy stiletto to balance out the length of the dress with your height (I'm on the short side, too, so I always wear big heels)

Aimee, I have a pair of open-toe black slingbacks that are tall (don't know how high) that I got at Ann Taylor two years ago that I have in mind for the dress. They are pretty uncomfortable, but super cute!
