Baby Dedication~Need 2 Outfits

Ok ladies here goes...My husband's family is from Africa....we will be having a traditional baby dedication the way they would do it in their country. However they usually get these elaborate outfits made but I am not comfortable wearing them at times. I would like back-up outfits to wear just incase they don't fit right and happen to have shoulder pads or something :eek:

So on the saturday they have something called a baby naming ceremony where the color will be lavender(silver accent) its from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Secondly, on that sunday we will be having the dedication at the church and the whole family has to wear white with silver accents... I would like something suit like but maybe with a gaucho type pant or a wide leg capri and sandals.

Soooo all this said can you ladies recommend some things and even post pics!
