My husband and I need to do some work in our backyard on the grass. There are parts that dirt from the dogs running around. And there are parts where last year weeds (crab grass mostly) took over. So we'd like to do something back there but I'm concerned with what is safe to use with the dogs around.
Has anyone had any experience with fertilizer, grass seed, etc. in a yard where dogs are present? We know that we'll have to keep the dogs off the grass at some point while things do their stuff but I don't want anything to leave chemicals behind which would hurt the dogs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
