Anyone up for vegetarian chilli made with fake but real tasting meat?:)

I like the day old chilli that is more like a good thick chip dip. Beans or no beans. Though the cheese and sour cream added to the whole thing makes it better as does at least some amount of spicyness.

sublime311

Q. Where does gelatin come from?
A. The raw materials used in the production of gelatin are from healthy animals and include cattle bone, cattle hides and fresh, frozen pigskins. In the North American market, these raw materials are basically sourced from government-inspected meat processing facilities.

Here is more: http://www.ivu.org/faq/gelatine.html

suzfuzsunflower
05-22-2006, 07:22 PM
In order to make sure that the fruit is not at the bottom I think that you pour the jello in, let it sit for a few minutes, and then dump in the fruit. Is that correct?

amwilson615

I am "famous" for my jello shooters. I make tequila ones with lime jello, and all sorts of weird combos with rum and vodka.

A friend puts fruit in her jello shooters. She lets them sit in the fridge (without the fruit) for about 20 minutes, then adds the fruit in. Never thought of doing that but they were really good!
