Help! My Cat leaving Bowel Marks?

I have noticed when Beau sits on my lap, he has been leaving a little and very aromatic mark from his behind. He just did it again. Any ideas on what's going on? This just started happening recently.

This is my guess also. I had a cat that needed hers expressed regularly or they would get empacted and some of that most foul smelling gunk would be left everywhere she went! The vet can do express them for you and actually, you can ever learn how to do it yourself. Ick.

I was going to say the same thing. My cat scoots her bottom on the floor when she has that problem.

Thanks! Yeah it is a little gross, but I feel worse for Beau. I am calling the vet today to see what they think.
