DD is 5 months old now and is really fun to play with and learning tons really quickly. But each stage she goes through, I think to myself, "this is the best one so far". So which is yours and why?

BTW - This thread is meant for parents of kids of all ages, not just babies.

I'm in the same boat...each stage so far has been my favorite. It's so fun to watch my DD develop and become her own person!

The first 3 months were not fun due to colic. Once we hit 4 months things have been great! Teething aside, I'd say 4mo-present has been a joy. Being able to interact with him more now and do things like "How Big is Baby/" are so much fun!

I think one of the funnest stages was around 5-6.5 months. She could sit up on her own, play with toys and be entertained, yet didn't know how to crawl yet, so it was nice to be able to go pee and not worry about her following me or getting into trouble ;) LOL. Ok, so maybe that was the most fun that benefited us hehe. Seriously each day gets more and more fun. They learn new things daily and it's SO fun when they start saying words or learning new "tricks" :) I do miss how tiny she was though :(

I have enjoyed the "elementary" years the best. Between the ages of 7-10. They are past the baby stuff like diapers and car seats but they aren't yet moody teenagers. They love doing everything and are so independent. Their senses of humors have developed, so they are fun to be around. It has been the easiest and most enjoyable time.

For me - the older, the better. After having two kids, I have learned that I just do so much better with toddlers than I do with babies. I would seriously have a third child if they came out of my womb at 18 months old:) My 2.5 year old can be a bear, but I would SO SO SO rather deal with him than a crying baby. That sounds awful but I just enjoy talking with him and having him be able to tell me what he needs and how he feels. My 6 month old is sitting and scooting and that is fun, but she is also really clingy right now.

2 1/2 - 3 months was my favorite. DS started STTN at 10 weeks (12 hours) and I was getting over the Baby Blues. He was still tiny enough to just be able to cuddle, but also aware enough to bat at his toys.

So far for me, the older she gets the better..First three months were awful due to colic and now we are in teething he11..however, at 7 months - she is so much fun during the day - laughing, sitting, exploring...everything just facinates her. I love her more each day (even if she keeps me up all night).

colic, here, too, so the first few months were horrible! I think 8months to present have been the best so far. It was great to watch him learn to crawl and now almost walking and he is so much fun to play with now. We can chase each other around and I just love to watch him trying to figure things out.

For me, every stage has been the best, each stage for different reasons.

It's hard for me to pick one stage that has been my favorite so far. DD is 9 months now. I miss her being tiny but love that she is able to smile, talks, waves, plays with toys, is able to crawl (and nearly walking), being able to interact with us more each day, recognizes faces/voices, able to sit on her own, and so many other things. I like them all for different reasons.

I really can't say. I feel like Ohana:
