Geez, my 6-month old scared the h*ll out of me this morning. She was still half-asleep in our bed, so I thought I could run to the restroom. I surrounded her with pillows and walked across the bedroom to the bathroom, and was keeping the door open so that I could see her. In one move she silently rolled over twice, pushed the pillow off, and came *this close* to falling off the bed! I literally had to RUN to catch her! If I had not been watching I never would have gotten there in time, and I'd be writing this story in the "worst Mommy award" thread!

So what bed rail do you have, and can it later be used on a toddler bed?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think mine is called safety first and yes it can be used later on a toddler bed. DD is now a year and a half and when she wakes she will go to it and if I am not there she will yell PEEKIES or MAMA.

PS. Hey we have a lot in couple it seems like....at least hyperemesis and cosleeping!

So do you have the bed rail on both sides of the bed? What about the bottom? And she doesn't try to climb over them?
