Pictures with the Easter Bunny

I'm going to be taking DS to see the Easter Bunny at our mall this weekend and I know I'll want to share pictures of it, so I thought it would be great to start a thread devoted solely to pictures others have of their DC with the Easter Bunny. Would love seeing others pictures!

I was going to get DD's picture taken with the easter bunny at the mall by my house, but the costume was pretty ghetto. I mean the guy/gal has regular white gloves on instead of furry bunny hands! LOL. Usually they have pretty good characters (it's a nice indoor mall), but that bunny just looked tacky, so i'm gonna pass on the bunny pic and try to take some shots on my own with her bunny basket and some eggs. Who knows though, maybe we'll make it to a different mall with a better bunny costume before Easter :)

Here is ours from a couple of weeks ago. Isn't this the UGLIEST Easter Bunny ever? I should have waited and gone somewhere else, but wanted to get them done before my maternity leave was over. I'm still debating going to a nicer mall where the bunny outfit isn't tan colored and all pilly and 100 years old! :)

Thanks! :) I'm a new Mom and was so concerned with getting Cole to look good, not freak out at the bunny and not spit up on his outfit that I didn't even get a good look at the d@mn bunny until I was looking at the pictures! I know better for next year. :p

A bit washed out, but I was just glad the Easter Bunny was decent. I scoped it out beforehand to make sure the bunny wasn't scary, or as funny-looking as Jengen's!

Thanks! Our mall really goes all out for Easter and Christmas. People come from all over Houston to see our Santa. :D

LOL.....DD won't go near the creepy looking Easter bunnies in our area. She's in that "not too sure about big furry characters" phase. But hell, they creep me out...so I don't expect her to be willing to jump on their lap and take a pic. She likes to wave at them from a far, but if I say "do you want to take a picture with the Easter bunny?" she says "no".

They have those Easter bunny pics with REAL bunnies...but how do I just know that DD would be the kid that ended up bit? LOL.

So yeah.....i'll have to do something similar to last year or try something else.

We did ours Saturday--my very smiley boy would not smile (or look straight ahead)and the attendant was not helpful, but we ended up with a pretty cute pic.

I tried to get some at home eastery shots too but unless I gave him his plastic eggs he wouldn't sit still (threw the bunny ears and stuffed bunny out of the picture). And if I gave him the eggs he ate them or stared at them instead of looking up at me. these were the best I got

We visited the mall bunny a couple of weeks ago. It was unusually hot out that weekend, so he couldn't wear his Easter outfit and I had to go through the closet to pick something else out. So, more casual than intended, and the shortalls barely fit him, but I think it turned out pretty darned cute!

We decided not to take DD to the mall for photos. We're hoping to go to an Easter egg hunt tomorrow and take pictures with the Easter Bunny there. I also have some ears and eggs at home I'll try to take some cute pictures with.

Poor DD is petrified of the Easter bunny :( We tried on three different occasions, today being the worst. The bunny was walking around saying hi to the kids near the playland. He came over to DD to say hello and she tried to climb out of her stroller. Instead of backing off, he came closer and touched her! I have never seen her so afraid. She couldn't even scream she was so freaked out :( When she has a rabbit phobia as an adult, it can be traced back to that moment. Since the bunny was a big ol' bust we got these taken so we would at least have some springy pics.

I really need to scan in the polaroid I have of me at age 4 on the lap of a very scary-ass creepy looking Easter bunny from the 70's. Seriously, he looks like something out of a cheesy horror movie.

No Easter bunny for DD this year. Just not my thing and at 6m she wouldn't remember it anyway. When she gets older we will find a scary bunny to get her picture taken with. :rolleyes:

Possibly the worst bunny I've ever seen. We were grocery shopping and turned the corner- there he was! Ds launched himself into his arms, yelling "Hi EETER MUNNY!". We weren't planning to get a picture, but then they took a free one.

The bunny looks dead and evil with his black eyes. Ds loved him and cried when we had to leave.

I know, it looks like a 5th grader made the head out of paper mache'. I love how there is no backdrop, no props...just a chair and a lame basket in the middle of the mall. That's part of the creepiness!
