Accessorize the Simple Black Dress

I have a wedding coming up next month and I need something to wear. There are not a lot of maternity options out there. :( I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something if I won't be getting much wear. I found this very simple black dress.

Think I can get away with this dress if I find the right accessories to dress it up? I would love some suggestion on what I should do to dress it up for an evening wedding at a winery.

I like to wear red or pink shoes with all black. Maybe find some really cute shoes to go with it and a matching necklace. I like the dress.

Chandelier earrings. Sparkly ones. There are so few occasions to wear them :).

Shoes in your favorite color (I'd go with red, silver or gold) and great bold jewelry - sparkly, dangly earrings and a few sparkly bangle bracelets or one or two bigger bracelets, for example. I wouldn't wear a necklace with that dress, but maybe that's just me. I'd also see if you could find a great wrap that complements whatever shoes you wear. It would be useful at an evening wedding, and it could add a lot to your dress!

A winery wedding has an element of style and funk to it--and you are wearing a simple dress so you can afford to be a little dramatic. I'd do a striking, unusual gold necklace and gold strappy heels. Something like this for the necklace, maybe:

I would also suggest going the metallic route with the shoes. Maybe something that has a 'jeweled' look? You could do strappy sandals, mules (bonus for the lower heel and could wear them again with black pants or capris) or even dressy wedges.

As for jewelry, I would also go with dramatic chandelier earrings and no necklace. Maybe pull your hair up to really show off the earrings. A great cuff bracelet would work too (but then I would tone down the earrings a little so they don't compete). If it gets a little chilly at night at the winery, I would also suggest bringing a shawl in a bright, bold color like a deep fushia color.
