Pounce?

Hey! Does anyone here know how to play the card game pounce? I have looked it up online and found directions but it doesn't explain what you do with your different piles of cards that you have. My family and I were trying to remember it from playing it a long time ago and the explanations online aren't very specific.

Does anyone know how to play? If so, could you explain what you do with the stock and pounce piles? Thanks!:)

Liz, we play with my ILs sometimes, and here's what we do with our cards, the best was at this website (http://www.pagat.com/patience/nerts.html), scroll down to the Initial setup part. That's how we play, but I know other people do it differently.

Thanks! I had seen that website. You are right people do play differently. What we did was gather up the info we found on the internet and went from there making our own rules. It turned out to be fun! Thanks for replying!

OMG--POUNCE!!!! :D :D My family plays that each time we get together! I LOVE it! We were even teaching the littlest ones to play! Now, we all know how to play!

We do 13 cards in the pile, four out in front of us and then the rest of the cards as our hand decks, counting out every 3rd card. As long as your pile of 13 cards is gone, you can call Pounce or continue playing.
