I have naturally curly, color treated, oily hair and am looking for suggestions about shampoos and conditioners that do not cost a lot.

I love Dove Shampoos new line. They have new color enhancing shampoo and conditioner for hair dyed darker than your original hair color and for hair colored lighter than your original hair color. I use it and I have thick, wavy, sometimes oily hair and it is great. Give it a try!

I don't know what you consider a lot. I use Aveda blue malva shampoo. I think it is ~$6-8/bottle.
