Which Paula's Choice products do you recommend or not recommend?
I've seen the brand name mentioned in various threads, but I thought it would be nice to have a specific thread for it.
Also, I've seen her BHA lotion, gel, and cream mentioned. What's the difference, and which is most popular?
I have used this line and overall really liked their cleanser and moisturizer because they were both extremely gentle. Having said that, I think their cleanser is very comparable to Cetaphil, which I use now. And for the PS, sunscreen moisturizer and night-time moisturizer that I had been using, I found that it was a lot easier to buy the Olay sunscreen and either the Cetaphil or Olay for nighttime as well...since I can just get those at a nearby drugstore.
BHA lotion, gel, cream - I think the main difference has to do with how "greasy" the products are. Cream will be the heaviest and gel the lightest. If you have dry skin, I'd try either the lotion or cream.

I use the BHA lotion which is a topical *tretament* (exfolliation) as opposed to a basic moisturizer, but they offer it as a lotion in case you need some light moisturizer as well (if you have dehydrated skin). They gel form is if you have oily skin. They do not offer it in cream form but they do a have a liquid form which is great for combo skin. If you have straight up dry skin, then the AHA would be a better choice. By *dry* I mean scaley, flaking skin, if your skin just feels tight it is not dry.

I use quite a few of Paula's Choice products - cleanser, toner, exfoliant, mask, antioxidant serum, nighttime moisturizer and a few make up pieces here and there.
I have combo skin and use the 1% BHA - right now I have the lotion and the gel. As far as I can tell they work the same, it is just about how they feel on my skin. The gel penetrates more quickly and doesn't leave any greasy feeling behind - if anything, it feels a bit tighter. Since I moisturize anyway this is fine. The lotion is nice, too, but doesn't sink in as quickly and leaves a bit of a moisturized feeling behind (although it surely is NOT a moisturizer).
I've had great luck with her products, and to be honest I appreciate her informative, no-nonsense approach. The only product I've used that I'm not totally thrilled with is the "Completely non-greasy moisturizer" - I have combo skin (true combo - slightly oily in T-zone and slightly prone to blemishes there, dry everywhere else) and this moisturizer is too rich for my skin. It is too thick for me. I use it at night on my cheeks, but that's it. It is easier to buy Olay 15 SPF for daytime, and it isn't as thick.
