4 day vacation - any ideas?

So i am looking for some ideas for a nice 4 day vacation for my husband, myself and a couple of our friends.

We live in Oregon and they are from the Chicago area. We want to meet somewhere and take a 4 day (thursday - sunday) vacation.

Vegas is out because we just went. I'm thinking Florida maybe? I just don't want to spend a ton of $. We're looking in the range of $800 - $1000 each person (food, air, hotel....) & wanting to travel maybe late May/early June.

San Fran? We just went for two nights, and a third would have even better. I think for 3 nights, I'd try to keep the flight shorter than cross-country ...

Aspen, Park City, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Lake Tahoe.

I was thinking something in between: Yellowstone? Yosemite? It really depends on what kind of vacation you are wanting... Key West, Florida is lovely and charming! NY always makes a fun vacation!

If you are wanting "beachy," San Diego or Santa Barbara are also lovely! Same time zone as you and less of a trek!! :)
