I have just found the Canny Collar!!!!
http://www.cannyco.com/CannyFiles/index.htm
After tons of people recommending it to us I finally bought one and it is the best!! Barley hated the halti...it smushed his eye and he would just rub his face on the ground. I was going to get the gentle leader but it is so similar to the halti that I was really looking for something different. Barley has really taken to the canny collar and it looks good too :p
Just wanted to pass that along to my fellow owners of dogs that pull on the leash!

We started having this problem with Duchess and it sorta came out of nowhere (we'd never had that problem before). I tried correcting it on my own but just a couple of weeks ago I bought a simple Harness from Petsmart. It looks like this:

Since using it, walking has been a complete DREAM. We just put in on her and didn't even have to say anything - we just started our walk and she never pulled once. I think we'll probably use it for a couple more weeks and then go back to walking with just a collar/leash. If she starts pulling we'll put her back in the harness for walks.

That's so weird you posted a harness, b/c Addy pulls more on a harness. Guess it just shows that different dogs have different preferences.
I'd love to try a head collar, but because we have a doberman, she does NOT need people to think it's a muzzle. She's out and about a lot and we bring her everywhere (to keep her socialized and give her exercise) - I just don't wnat to deal with the 'oooh, does she bite?' 'is she mean?' more than we do. Does this happen when you use the headcollar?
Anyway, we use a prong collar and she doesn't pull at all - at first we had to correct more with it, but now - she walks perfectly. :)

Seb's Kitty, We haven't had that at all when using a headcollar. I think that since haltis and gentle leaders are so widely used, everyone seems to know what they are.

We use a harness as well. But, it sort of hooks around his front legs and the clasp is on his chest. So if he pulls, he pulls himself right around. We don't have any trouble with him pulling anymore.
