I know you are out there! :D There was a Wegman's thread a while back and we were all suprised to see how many of us there are. I was just thinking about that and I figured I would start a thread for us.
(I know there's a MD/DC/VA thread, but for someone who lives on the northeast side of Baltimore, I don't really relate to some of the local discussion, and it's a bit of a haul to go down to the DC area for GTG's.)
I'm Amy, and I've lived in the Baltimore area for nearly 6 years now. I moved here from Ohio right out of college. I started out living in Federal Hill (I miss it so!) and working in Columbia. When DH and I got our first place together, we lived in Pikesville (he works in Hunt Valley). We bought our first/current house in 2004...we are just inside the Beltway off of Rte 1 in the Overlea area. My most recent job was in Towson, but now I'm a full time grad student at Morgan. So in 6 years, we've been all over the area.
So any any other Baltimore area ladies out there?

I'm a Baltimore gal.... :)
I grew up in Pikesville, went to college in St. Louis, came back to Pikesville and went to law school at UMD. Now I live in the Pikesville/Mt. Washington area (where I have lived w/ DH for almost 5 yrs), but we are moving to Owings Mills in about 6 weeks!
I agree that the GTG were tough in the DC area...I never made it to one! Hopefully we will have a nice group of Baltimore CCers and we can get together in the Baltimore area. Thanks for starting this thread!

young lioness, thanks for starting this thread. I hope I can join this one...if I count. I don't live in B-more, but I live in Howard County and spend most of my free time doing stuff in B-more. I did join some discussions in the MD/DC/VA thread, but most times I had no idea what they were talking about! :p
I am originally from NJ (I know, I've heard all the jokes). I went to Gettysburg College where I met my DH who grew up in Ellicott City. I went to law school back in NJ and then moved down to MD in May of 2003 to study for the bar. We first lived in a townhouse in Waverly Woods (off of I 70). We moved in November of 2004 to Woodbine (western howard county).
I presently work as an attorney for the Army in N. VA, but I will be starting a new job in a couple of weeks again as an Army attorney at Edgewood (finally making my way back to MD)
We do a lot of stuff in B-more. We are presently playing kickball with the Baltimore Sports and Social Club. Its so much fun. We love going to B-more for dinner, drinks, whatever.
Well now that I have given you my whole life story, I'm leaving! Thanks again for starting this thread.
And babylove, what year in law school are you? Good luck!

Hi, another Baltimore girl here! I currently live in Owings Mills and work in Hunt Valley (close to the Wegman's :D ). I'm not originally from here, but my husband is. We met at college and then moved here together afterwards. We've been here close to three years.
Looking forward to meeting some more B-more ladies!

Another kind of baltimore girl here - I live in W. Howard County also (Reebs, we are neighbors)..I am in Cooksville and work in Finksburg. I lived in Federal Hill for years after college (went to U. of Baltimore) and worked in Baltimore City for years at T. Rowe and Legg Mason...
I've lived in MD all my life...grew up in Laurel.

Yay more people! :)
Reebs ~ I graduated from UMD Law in May 2003. :)
Boopy ~ In May, we'll be neighbors...we are moving to Owings Mills! Technically, our zip code is OM, but our house is off of Greenspring Ave, just past Caves Rd...know where that is?

babylove - I know exactly where that is! What a small world! I live in the New Town area, close to the mall (what's left of it, that is). We're all so close we'll definitely need to plan a GTG. :)

cr8zyforaf, really, Cooksville? Small world. I live in Woodbine which essentially should be Cooksville. We live right off 144. Near 97. Wow, that's crazy. I've probably passed you on the road. We could definitely do GTGs!!
Babylove, I'm sorry, I thought you were still in school. I apologize. I graduated in 2003 too. Did you take the BarBri course at Uof Baltimore that May? We may have been in the same class.
It really is a small world!

Ok, this is how out of it I am. I read this thread before and just picked up on this. That new job, I'm at Edgewood too. :D We definitely have to do GTG now!

Yes, definitely thanks for starting this thread. I'm northeast of Baltimore, in Cecil (yes I have all my teeth) county. I'm working at Aberdeen/Edgewood.

Anyone got anything fun and/or exciting going on?
I'm going to Preakness on the 20th and looking forward to a nice sunny day at the races. Anyone else going?
Hope everyone is well.
