As we're not able to keep the journals out of the NEW POSTS tool, we're asking that ALL journal titles begin with "journal" (for example: JOURNAL - Katy's Musings). This will allow those that aren't interested in the journals to skip over those threads easily. Pick your title carefully, at this time, the only way to change a title is to have a mod change it for you (we’re working on this control, so it could change in the future)
All new journals are monitored and will have to get moderator approval (only regarding the title) before it will go live - this might take anywhere from 2 minutes to 24 hours. Please be patient, they will be approved as soon as we can work out way through them, I assure you.
Remember that everyone gets only one journal to use as you see fit - wedding, family, home, daily, whatever you want to focus on. Please file your journal under the first initial of your user name (example: K for Katy). Also, the journals are public and can be accessed by all registered users. Please keep this in mind when posting.
Just a reminder, a journal cannot be started, nor can the journal forum be seen until a minimum 10 posts have been posted. This is your chance to be a part of our community (which is why you're here, right) so take a moment to join in and participate on our boards. With over 8500 threads, this shouldn't be a problem. The system automatically upgrades only a few times a day, so it might take a while for your posts to register with the system.
Happy Journaling!
