How Much for a Graduation Gift?

My cousin just graduated high school. We're not close (I see her at Christmas and major family functions, like a wedding) and that's it. I have no idea if she's going to college or not. We are attending her graduation party tomorrow and I'll at least bring a card - how much is OK for a gift for a cousin I don't know well?

I should add that this is the upper Midwest, not a metropolitan area, where a wedding gift of $50 is a lot. :)

I'd say $25 based on what you said about your area. I'd do about the same here where I live, too.

I usually put $20 in a card for something like that. I'm also from an area where $50 is a typical wedding gift.
