Just wanted to sing from the hill tops because my house has been under construction for over a year :( We have a 2 family that was in pretty decent condition when we bought it in march 03, but it needed new porches, windows, a new roof, we just finished redoing the bathroom yesterday, we also took down all the wall paper in the house and painted. So today the last major improvement begins!! The kicker? We are moving in a few weeks to a one family down the street that also has need for a few of the same improvements!!!! :eek:

Yippee! Well, at least you'd be able to see your fruits of labor from your new home. :) :)

Our old neighbor just finished remodeling his home (worked on it for 2 years) then decided to sell a month after he finished. Now he's doing a lot of work on his new home. It always happens that way :)

Yay! I just KNOW that is what is going to happen to us...really! We have a two family and the renovations you describe are pretty much the exact same ones we have to do.
