Hi

I tried JC and I'm still signed up but it's not that right for me, I don't think. I'm too out and about, have no microwave and don't like the food.

But I'm still on it. I like the support part.

I just started. We will see how it goes. Thus far, the food is pretty icky, but I won't be on it for long (maybe 4 weeks), and then I will trnasition into eating my own foods in smaller portions.

I like the fact that I am learning portion control. I also like the support. LOVED that CD this morning! We'll see. I am trying to lose about 15 lbs., which seems like a lot of weight.

It's easy (relatively) to lose weight, and much too difficult to keep it off. I am hoping the jc program teaches me how to maintain a healthy weight once I reach my goal. DH thinks I may have to rely on Jenny's foods on occasion, and that's fine.

Well, I don't know if I have lost any more this week (I weigh in on Sunday), but I can report that my skirts feel loser, and I feel energized. It may all be in my head, but I will find out soon enough.

Jenny's foods are a mixed bag. The cheesy enchiladas are great. The chicken salad lunch is good. The chicken sandwich is OK. The sirloin rice bowl was not too good. The sunshine sandwich was great. Most of the cereals are good. The cakes are good. The muffins, not so much.

What IS great is eating salad at lunch every day, and truly enjoying it, drinking lots of water, the new energy I feel, and the way my skin looks in the last few days -- younger, somehow.

Lost another pound and a half, and am feeling good. Tonight is tough. It's my birthday.

Hi there, I joined JC last Thurday. So far so good. Actually I find the food tasty. Much tastier then Nurtisystem anyway... I feel good and it doesnt seem to be to difficult to continue it. Once I get used to the portion sizes I'll move more to the make my own food.

ysolde - Congratulations on your success! I totally understand the challenge of keeping weight off...I've lost this weight before and now need to lose it one more time - but I'm determined that it will be the LAST time!!

Can you give me more information regarding the cost of Jenny Craig? I am considering joining and am guessing that buying the food would be about equal to what I spend on groceries and lunches out. And I have a "lose 20 lbs. for $20 coupon" for the counseling. But after that, what do the different plans cost? I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you!!

Hi there, I'm doing the 20lbs for $20 and my first week of food was around $100. I just used the menu they have planned, you can swap out items and I know some people only get the meals and make their own snacks to save on money. I think the average cost was about $80-$100 a week if you use everything JC. :D
