Any thoughts about the growth on my dog's head?

She has an appointment in a couple of weeks, but I just wanted to see if anyone has ever seen anything like this. I'm so scared that it's cancer.

She's a 6 year old Beagle,

It looks a lot like the warts our Rott/Chow mix had on his eyes-and a couple other places-as he got older. The vet told my mom that he could remove it, but would have to put him under to do it, and by that time, he was pretty old, and she didn't want to put him through all that, and it didn't seem to bother him, so she left it alone. Our Golden/Chow mix used to clean it all the time.
I wouldn't panic just yet!
In the meantime, can we have some full size Beagle baby shots? ;) There's a hound fans thread here, and quite a few Beagle mommas!
