DS just hit 5 months last week, so DH and I were talking today about our experiences so far as new parents. He commented how he wished there was a Constant Chatter type of forum for dads too. Apparently, he thinks it's great that I can come here to get answers, to commiserate, or to get support from other moms. :)
Anyone has suggestions on websites or forums for dads?
TIA!

There is a dad's forum on MDC (mothering dot com). Most of the members there are very in to attatched parenting so I don't know if that's his taste or not.

does he have any hobbies? DH loves golf so he has his own message board to check out and they talk about other things than golf.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will be forwarding the websites to DH and see which one he likes. I knew resourceful ladies here would be the place to ask...
Thanks again! :D

Awww. That is so cute. In my experience guys can't really have what we have here because they are too hard-headed. No offense you anyone's DH.... guys just don't share their feelings like we do. I can just imagine the replies a guy would get when asking for advice:
"suck it up dude. Don't be such a p***y."
I've seen "guy message boards" and they are usually dedicated to cars or video games or something else that is oh-so-manly and the guys just aren't nice or helpful to each other. They try to be so macho!
Hopefully your DH will find something that is what he is looking for. Mine wanted the same thing and all he found was assholes who were trying too hard to be tough guys, and guys who my DH swore were really women because no guy is THAT sensitive to other guys. It would be nice if the internet could become a place where men can just share how they feel and give each other advice without being so extreme!

Daddy Types (http://daddytypes.com/) is a decent blog and you can find links to other blogs. It's a little different than message boards but might be worth trying.

I wonder if there could be a "daddy" board on CC? Maybe a subboard under parenting?
