At the beginning of the year I posted a question on the other site about recommendations for natural Shampoo/Conditioner and got a lot of great responses. I forgot to bump it up before the conversion, so I'm sure its gone forever.

I have really sensitive skin and every shampoo/conditioner I have tried makes me break out (dry scalp and mini zits/rash on my scalp, hair line, arms and back). I had been using Herbal Essences since it first came out, but then they changed the formula and added that Hawafena crap so now I'm allergic to that too. I literally have about 20 bottles of different types of shampoos that I have tried in the past year that don't work for me. I recently switched to Suave, which makes my hair feel great, but I have to make sure I dont get it on my scalp and I have to lean back while I rinse it out to try to keep it off my arms and back. Pretty annoying and not very easy! So its time to start shopping for something new.

I have done a search for baby shampoo for sensitive skin, but I don't want to keep adding more bottles of shampoo to my collection that I can't use. Anyone else out there with really sensitive skin that can recommend a good natural shampoo/conditioner?

I don't have any recommendations, but have you tried your local heath food store? I'm not talking about a chain like GNC, but a locally-owned store. The health food store here carries all sorts of things--food, supplements, natural deodorent. They might also have a natural shampoo/conditioner. If they don't carry it, they might be willing to specially order it. I'd make a list of the things you're allergic to (like Hawafena) and make sure they're not in the shampoos.

Our store also has an on-staff advisor. He might also be one to ask.

Good luck. :)

HHHhmmmm...I'm not sure of the ingredients, but have you looked at the Horse Hair shampoo and conditioners? I'd be surprised if it has any perfumy crap in it, since it's literally for horses.
