V for Vendetta

Anyone going to see it? I just read the article about it in Entertainment Weekly.

Sounds very interesting, and a LOT like the Matrix, which I loved. I think I will try to talk DH into going to see this one.

I definitely want to go see this. It sounds very interesting, and I've read that it could be one of the most controversial movies of the year as it touches on so many hot button issues going on in the country right now. Plus, I love Natalie Portman. :)

The Wachowski brothers wrote it, but they didn't direct it. I think the director is their former assistant director from all the Matrix films.

I think the plot sounds interesting. And frankly, once you've seen all the Oscar nominees, there aren't a lot of good films out this time of year. So, this one stands out from the crowd.

Saw it Sunday and really enjoyed it. It definitely hits all the right buttons and is very timely. There wasn't as much action as the Matrix movies, but it wasn't all talk either.

I saw this last Friday....people were actually clapping after the movie, it's been a long time since I've been to a movie where that happened! I really enjoyed the movie.

Saw it Monday. Good movie--really makes you think. Like Irish Elf said--very good timing of this movie. Very relivant.

We're going to try to see this in the next week or so... both DH and I have read the graphic novels and will be interested to see how they interpret everything on the big screen. Natalie Portman is way different than I would have pictured Evey.
