I know you guys are always great with your suggestions! I need help!
We're going to a 6pm ceremony on this Saturday for a couple. They married 2 years ago in Vegas w/out a formal ceremony b/c the groom was doing a 2nd tour of Iraq. Now they are celebrating their love with a formal ceremony! I can not find them registered anywhere, and haven't found out a polite way to ask them what they need. :)
Besides cash, is there something you guys would recommend? They are in their early 20's and rent an apartment. (if that helps).
Thanks a bunch in advance! We sure are procrastinators! :o

Big, comfy bath sheet size towels? You can never have too many of those. Get them in white so you don't have to worry about matching stuff.
Gift cards for dinner out? Especially if he just came home-they should spend time together, instead of cooking and cleaning!
His & hers massages? So they can relax together.
Um....

Maybe a gift card to a store or restaurant? Or, maybe you could ask their parents or other friends if they are registered anywhere or if there is anything in particular they need.
I guess it all depends on what they are in need of....obviously, if they don't have a lot of $$$$ it might be a better choice to get them a gift card to somehwere like Target, Wal-mart, or Food Lion (or other grocery store). I know it's not exactly as "cool" as getting a gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond, but I know a couple who was more thrilled with her $250 gift card to Food Lion and other cash, then she was with other store. Mostly because they had already been semi-living together in his house that he built while they were dating so a lot of things they already had. Everyone can use groceries and household things!

Excellent Ideas, guys! We may just go with the bath towels and gift cards idea! Very easy to shop for, too. Thanks a bunch!:)
in addition to the towels, you could get a more neutral bath set with a soap dispenser and some containers. that stuff is pretty easy to find at places like marshall's and tj max.

I wouldn't recommend buying towles for someone unless you know they need them. I say that, because if they already live together, chances are they already have towels.
Some other ideas:
Gift card for dinner
Tickets to the theatre (if they like that kinda thing)
Wine
Gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond

I agree, the more practical the better.
Gift card to their local grocery store.
Gift card to a Target or Walmart
A plain old fashion check.
