I could have sworn that there was a thread on this before, but I must be imagining it or the search function can't find it.

Anyway, I'm looking for ideas on a craft room. I'm building shelving myself in a corner of our office and need some inspiration.

So if you have a craft room that you'd like to show off, or pictures of any that make your heart go pitter-patter, please post them.

Thanks ladies!!

Thanks! I love your craft space...small but functional! Is it always that clean? I can't imagine my craft area ever having a clean space, possibly only the day we install it all. :) I like the idea of the peg board and might have to incorporate that into mine. I'd love to put a TV back here, if anything because I'll be sharing space with my DH's gym and having something to watch might motivate me to actually use it (yeah right). :o

Gonna copy your pictures into my "ideas" book though, thanks again!

Bumping up!

We just bought a new house and moved in this past weekend. Our bedroom has 2 large closets, and I'm going to use one as my craft area. I'm thinking maybe a few shelves and a counter or something like that.

Please post pictures of your craft rooms/areas!

Here's a few of mine. It took me 3 months to get it all together. And, I guarantee you, it hasn't looked that organized since! :D

The pic of the closet shows that there was already a small shelving/drawer unit inside. I just added the rolling drawers and lots of other containers. I also labeled everything so that I could try and stay at least a little bit organized!

We are considering doing something like this with half of our current office:

It wouldn't just be crafts, but a place where I could easily get to things like gift wrap, tags, bags, etc, as well.

Laura- I absolutely love that. It is my dream to have a room just for wrapping gifts (I admit I stole the idea from "Will & Grace.")

It looks like that's from PB, so I won't even tempt myself by looking to see how much it costs.

Haha- yes it is from PB. That pic is my inspiration, but I probably wouldn't purchase all the pieces from there, lest I give P a stroke. I would try to duplicate something similar to the table/cubbies, I think, from somewhere else and buy some of the smaller things from PB directly. And maybe the wall organizer thingy, etc.

But I'm still weighing the option of craft/wrapping space vs. elliptical machine space.
