Our outside stray that we feed somehow got shut in the garage last night...without a litter box!! He peed (and more) on the floor.
I have used a vinegar and water mix to wash the floor twice. Any other suggestions? Thanks!:)

I decided to try what the vet suggested last time, after I washed the floor twice with water and white vinegar: Oxy-Clean! I have it setting out there on the floor now, ready to wash off in a little bit.

The only thing I had heard (and please correct me if I am wrong) is to never use amonia on cat pee because it makes the smell worse. Let us know how your Oxy-Clean works!! Good Luck!

After you get the stink out, use "Nature's Miracle" or an enzyme cleaner for pet stains to prevent them from remarking the area.

Thanks! :) Yeah, I think the pee already has enough ammonia in it...don't want to ADD to it! ;)
Okay, I used about 3/4 of the jar of Oxi-Clean. I made it gritty, kinda like they suggest doing to for grout and tile. I used gloves and just poured it on, making sure there was some gritty stuff on top of the main areas. I waited an hour and then I washed it off, sweeping the water with a broom to the drain (man...I had January basement flooding flashbacks!). I dried it with the fan.
I pulled my car in (which just had all 4 tires replaced that day) and then this morning...I smelled RUBBER!!! :D :D I hope that means the smell is gone.
