My Husband will possibly (we'll know for sure tomorrow if he passes his physical) be leaving for a total of 5 months because he is joinging the military and will be gone for training. We are already struggling with dealing with the time apart. I'm thinking about maybe booking a trip for the two of us for a little after he comes back. Would any of you have any suggestions or ideas??? Here are some "rules, requirements and info" on the situation and what I'm looking for:

** We are from WI
** We could probably fly, but I'll take suggestions on places to drive to
** Something romantic
** Nothing TOO expensive
**Inclusive would help
**Only want to be gone for 4 days or so
**Something we can relax with and totally enjoy just us being together
**Nothing that we need a passport or need to go all out preparing for

I would LOVE your help!! Thanks in advance!!

Have you considered Mackinac Island? I haven't been there, but I have heard that it is very romantic. It may also be close to where you are in Wisconsin. It really depends on where you are in WI.

I'm not sure about the weather up there when you are planning to go (July? That should be pretty nice). If you are planning on doing something in the summer, that is actually the off season in Florida (because it is so hot). Key West maybe? Even Miami would be nice. Lots to do. I think that the Keys have all inclusives, too. If you wanted to be more romantic and less drunk (lol), then the "other" Keys (Key Largo, Isla Morada) are a little cheaper than Key West, but there's not as much to do.

Other than that, I'm not sure. I would assume that if your trip is only four days you wouldn't want to venture too far from your current time zone... jet lag sucks!!!

Hopefully those suggestions help.
