Realizing that becoming a part of the community isn't really your intent here, I might suggest that posting a one-liner and following it up with a command to "discuss" isn't really the way to develop friendships and join the CC community.

Wow, there seem to be those who find Mr. Right's sarcasm and wit a welcome addition to the community, and then there are those who seem to be bitter hags.

I am in the camp of women who are open to welcoming someone new, male or female, to the CC fold. Can't we just be nice to someone new and not automatically assume a guy is here for the wrong reasons? I think it's fun that a guy wants to join CC! I remember seeing a few other men come and go in the past months (one had a journal, I think??) and it's cool that guys want to hang with the ladies. ;)

Welcome to CC, Mr. Right. It will be interesting to have a male's perspective. :)

Meredith, I don't see how you can claim to be "welcoming" and "nice" on the one hand and call those of us who don't appreciate Mr. Right's posts commanding us to discuss or quoting nonexistent rules "bitter hags." It's not his gender, it's his posting style and smugness that is irritating.

Gang, this thread looks like it has the potential to go downhill real quickly.

If we can keep it on topic, it might be an interesting discusssion, so maybe we should give the OP the benefit of the doubt for a page or two, and see if this evolves into a quality topic. If it degenerates, it could get locked.
