Hi everyone-

I want to make menu cards for the reception to put on all the tables- if anyone out there has made them, or are making them also, can you send me a template of some sort, or ideas on how you made them? TIA...

We actually just printed ours last night.

I used this (http://www.documentsanddesigns.com/table_numbers/Menu_Cards/Menu_Cards_Page_1.htm) website for inspiration.

We sized ours so they would be a 8 1/2 x 11 landscape paper in half. The hardest part was the boarder.

This is what ours was modeled off of

I don't have it ours here at work, but I can email you the template tonight if you PM me you email address.

Let me know if you ahve any other question.

I made ours. You can see it sitting on our right in the picture:

I used the same paper/design/font as I did for the invitations and placecards, and embossed our ivy design on the front. There was an insert tied into the card. It had the meal courses on the top and the corresponding wine choices on the bottom and the date at the very bottom. German on the right and English on the left - for just one language I would use only the right side. The ribbon wasn't that frayed... it's just been a long time :)

Here is a picture of mine, though it isn't a very good picture.

Mine looked a LOT like this. I helped this girl make hers with the idea that she saw of mine. I just don't have a good picture of mine.

The back sheet is used with a colored sheet of paper. The front sheet is used with a clear sheet of velum or just a clear sheet of paper (we used the totally clear piece, which will work good with laser printers). The back sheet has your monogram on it, and the front sheet has the actual menu printed on it. It looks pretty awesome.

The way you hold them together is by punching with a corner adorner, in each of the four corners, and then it holds the front sheet in place. (Making sense yet?? haha). Here is what a corner adorner looks like. . .you can find them at a scrapbooking store, or just a crafting store.
