Looks like Britney Spears is thinking pink — but feeling blue.

The pop star — who has yet to confirm or deny the latest round of pregnancy rumors — recently did some baby clothes shopping at the ritzy Los Angeles store Petit Tresor, says a source, and was overheard indicating that she is indeed expecting another child. And, according to the insider, she’s hoping that her second child is a girl.

“She wasn’t really buying that much,” says the source. “She just picked out a few things. She doesn’t yet know whether it will be a boy or a girl, but she’s really hoping for a girl this time. She’d love to buy her new baby pretty, frilly things.” Spears also visited the store when she was pregnant with Sean Preston, but the insider says she had a different demeanor.

I can see how she'd be less than thrilled at this point, considering it means being pregnant for basically 2 years straight.

But to be fair, if it's early enough that she doesn't know the sex yet, she may be having morning sickness or be really tired right now. Especially with an infant to take care of during early pregnancy, I doubt she'd be feeling very "bubbly."

MMM ok because I remember reading soon after SP was born that, when her trainer was asked what she was going to do to lose the baby weight, he said that she was taking it slowly, and that because she was breastfeeding she was burning 500 calories(?) that way alone. But maybe he was lying I had read that she attempted to do it, but didn't stick with it. I had also read that Britney wasn't working out at all after Sean Preston was born. I guess you can't believe what you read either way.

Singer Britney Spears' agents are shocked at news their star client may be pregnant again, because she has given them no warning. Last week, media reports in the US claimed the singer and her husband Kevin Federline were expecting a second child - just months after the birth of their son Sean Preston. Kevin Federline Says Britney Spears Supports His Career


Britney Spears' husband, Kevin Federline, recently told Extra that she completely supports him and his budding music career. He said, "My wife loves what I do. She is so for everything that I'm doing right now. That's the biggest thing for me, too, because if she wasn't supportive of it, I'd probably give it up." He also said that Spears keeps him calm, adding, "When I get wild up over stuff, she's like, 'Sit back, think about it, make sure it's the right decision that you're going to make.'"


Federline will release his debut album, Playing With Fire, in August.


As for Spears, she may be parting ways with her record label. PerezHilton.com reported that she's been taking meetings in an effort to secure a new deal.


Federline cast some doubts on whether or not Spears is pregnant. According to TMZ.com, he completely avoided the topic in a recent interview, but when pressed further, K-Fed said that he "wouldn't bet" on it. He did say that Spears is currently working on a new album.

A couple of issues ago, US Mag had a tiny article about Brit talking to Sean Hayes (Jack from Will & Grace)'s production co about joining an ensemble show. US said she didn't know what the word "ensemble" is (this would be funny if it didn't indicate her lack of schooling. Which I blame former teacher Lynne Spears for that.). Anyway the article said that Brit swore to Sean Hayes and his staff that she wasn't preggers and she's ready to do the show. Breaking Report: Britney Spears Pregnant With Baby Girl


Britney Spears reportedly always wanted a little baby girl. Now a report from In Touch Weekly claims that is exactly the case.

According to ITW Brit has learned that her second child will be the little girl she has wanted all along, the magazine reports it has learned exclusively.

The baby is reportedly due in early October.

ITW also is reporting that Spears’ first child, Sean Preston, can expect to meet his new little sister in early October, shortly after his first birthday, and already Britney is shopping for frilly, little-girl clothes.

A room in her Malibu mansion is currently being converted into a second nursery, an insider says, adding: “She is going with pink.”

Britney, 24, is said to be delighted with the news, revealed during a routine ultrasound exam.

Married since September 2004, this will be the second child for the couple and Kevin Federline's fourth.

The “Oops, I Did It Again” crooner is paying a minder/bodyguard to keep an eye on her aspiring rap star husband Kevin Federline, according to In Touch Weekly.

“The last thing Britney wants to do is accompany Kevin on all his club dates,” an “insider” told the mag. “That’s why she hired a babysitter — a person who will keep Kevin from misbehaving and report directly back to her.”




The move reportedly came after one of Spears’ most trusted security guys, an ex-CIA agent named Richard, quit because of Federline’s partying.

“Richard is a straitlaced guy, and he was upset with Kevin’s behavior,” a “pal” told the mag. Spears eventually convinced Richard to return — after promising to do something about her partying hubby. “I’ll take care of the Kevin situation,” she allegedly promised, “if you take care of me.”

Huh. I wasn't aware of that - the only designer denim brand I've seen made in maternity styles is Citizens of Humanity. There's lots of stuff on eBay, but that's all aftermarket mods on jeans. There's one person whose notorious for buying up a lot of the authentic stuff on eBay cheap, converting it to maternity and selling it at a huge profit. But, afaik, there's very little factory-made, authentic dd.

Either way, it's a moot point, because Katie Holmes wore her Hudson and Rock and Republic jeans until the end of her pregnancy (assuming she actually was pregnant.) A lot of the girls on a message board for designer denim claim to have worn their regular jeans until the very end.

Maybe it is an old wives' tale, I dunno...but I didn't think it was safe to do that. My high school AP Psych teacher said that one of the cheerleaders *she* went to high school with got pregnant and wore her regular clothes the whole time. Then, the baby was born with a club foot. Coincidence, maybe...but I wore maternity clothes as soon as my regular clothes started feeling tight.

FWIW, I wore my Abercrombie and American Eagle jeans up until I was 36 weeks(which is when I delivered or I might have worn them longer?). If they are low enough and you carrying in a certain manner, they may not necessarily be tight or digging into you. Mine weren't uncomfy at all and my baby doesn't have a club foot either!! ;) I just think it depends on what you're comfortable in and how much weight you gain/how your body changes.

ETA - not sure about DD...but those are non-maternity and I still wore them...just to clarify. :)

I think it is possible that she is pregnant and she is taking care of herself this time around. Maybe she found out how hard it was to get back down and is now thinking she should watch her weight or she'll never be able to get back to her pre preg size. I think she looks smaller in her legs and arms but she really has a belly. The only thing that throws me are the BBs. If she is pg I would think they would be bigger.

So serious, according to one report, that she’s met with her family and lawyer — but not hubby Kevin Federline — and the topic of divorce came up.

“Brit’s been very unhappy, and I think she needs to find some peace,” a source told Life & Style Weekly. “Once the Spears family gets its game plan together, the idea is to spring a divorce on Kev without warning.”

Spears’ rep denies that there are problems with the marriage, but an insider told the mag that Spears was so angry with her partying hubby that she threw out all his liquor.

“She’s not going to let him make her feel like a guest in her own home anymore,” the insider said. “The new rules include no smoking or drinking, since secondhand smoke is bad for the kids.”

The two are, however, also reportedly having happier disagreements: over what to call the second baby. Although Spears has yet to confirm it, the buzz is that she’s pregnant with another child, rumored to be a girl.

Federline wants to name the baby Julia after his mom, according to In Touch Weekly, but Britney would rather name the baby Lillian after her own maternal grandmother. “She also likes the names Emily and Lola,” says a friend.

t's official: Britney Spears, 24, and Kevin Federline, 28, are expecting their second child together. Britney broke the news on a surprise appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman this afternoon. It will air tonight, but you can already watch the end of the interview, including the confirmation, here.

"Don't worry Dave, it's not yours!" Britney laughed. "Oh. Well, I think that's good for the both of us," Dave responded. "So we've established now that you are in fact pregnant, is that right?" "Yes," replied Britney.

Us Weekly originally reported the pregnancy last month. According to their sources, Britney is about 20 weeks along, with the baby being due October 1st or 2nd.

FWIW my sister is pregnant with her second. She's only about 14-15 weeks (so 3 1/2 - 4 months) and she is TOTALLY showing already and her tummy is bigger than Brit's right now. Basically her stomach looks like mine did when I was close to 30 weeks! LOL. It's so big that she was freaked and wondering if she was having twins! (which the docs confirmed she isn't).

Some people show a lot quicker with their second. She's the size now that she was when she was about 6-7 months last time ;)


So yeah, it's possible that Brit is only about 2 months, but who knows. Either way, GREAT...another Federline =P Let's pray and hope that she grows A brain cell and leaves his sorry ass.

In that clip when she was reading the Top Ten list i felt like you could tell that at the heart of Britney she is just a young woman from a small town in Louisiana who while seems to have lived a big life....doesn't seem to have a lot of life experience. She had no tone or inflection in her voice that would indicate she had any clue as to the relevance of what she was reading....and Dave's joke about Pandemic and getting new pans...totally went over her head.
