I think that has everything to do with her age. She is a young girl she is obviously going through a huge self discovery period. Remember not so long ago she was anti Jessica. Did not want to look anything like her and now she looks like Jessica's twin sister.

Can I just have one mini-rant, and then I'll let it go. And this is directed at the concept and not at any particular CCer.

I hate when people say you shouldn't change XYZ on your body because it gives you "character". I have plenty of character without my huge lumpy nose or my ugly disfiguring moles. I am funny, sarcastic, passionate, a good wife and a good furmom. I don't need any "character" from my physical flaws. Empowerment and not playing into corporate beauty, I get that. But telling someone to leave a feature alone that they are unhappy with because of "character" is a crock.

I hate when people say you shouldn't change XYZ on your body because it gives you "character". Never said she "shouldn't." I said I liked *Ashee's* nose better before - it did give her character which she sorely needed. Now she doesn't just act like every other teeny-bopper, scantily-clad, party-too-much, bottle-blond, lip-syncing, "recording artist" (they don't even bother to call themselves "musician") out there - now thanks to a gifted surgeon, she looks just like them, too.

I also have plenty of character without some of the things I might change about myself physically. But I wasn't talking about myself. (Nor you, Greenbunny.)

I get what you're saying, suz. Totally. The idea just grates on me. (Probably because I've heard it my whole life, whenever I wish I had X, Y, or Z.) But I can see that there are different problems for her given her fame--I don't have to worry about "standing out" physically to get a job.

We're the same way. I've been self-conscious about my nose ever since some kid in elementary school told me it was big, but DH is against changing it. I just think I'd be more comfortable if I didn't feel like it was the first things people noticed about me.

I think the fact that Kate was at this wedding is a good sign that her and William will be engaged soon... the royals don't usually take their partners to social events unless things are super serious.

I scanned the pic again and didn't see any gas station restrooms nearby, so who knows. All I can say is if I'm leaving a salon where I (presumably) dropped a lot of $$ on a pedicure, I wouldn't be walking around the streets of LA without any shoes. Ewww!

She was able to walk away from the accident unharmed and a few days later she started feeling sick and it turned out she had internal bleeding. Yes her sister was an up and coming model and died in a car accident. Nikki was not in the accident with her, but it affected her terribly and I think she bowed out of the huge celebrity of modeling since then.

I remember reading the story in Seventeen Magazine when I was a teenager.

Yes, it was an undiagnosed heart or lung thing, as I recall. She collapsed and died in her parents' house when she was like 17 or 18. Krissy was her name.
