What do you call this?

I have broken the motor (?) on my son's mobile. He thinks Ollie and friends are his BFF and chats and laughs with them several times a day. He is an angry bugger now that they no longer greet him after diaper changes. What do you call that thing that holds the mobile and plays music? Is it a motor? I'd like to buy the part, but realize I may need to buy an entire mobile and take it apart.

Yes, I'd call it the motor, or music box. Maybe you can contact the manufacturer and see if you can order just that part.
