Hi ladies! It kinda feels good to start fresh, although I am discouraged right now.
I took another test this a.m. and another BFN for me. I tested again because I am not sure I started....TMI AHEAD: I got up yesterday morning, (after some pink spotting Sun.) and felt that feeling like you have after getting up after sex...a little warm gush...whatever... so I am thinking that this is it, she's here. But no. Some bright red on the TP, I used a tampon, had some cramping on the way to work, and I took it out, it was mainly brown and white with a tiny tiny bit of red. This is all I had all day. Same today. Nothing. This happened last month too. What do I do about it? Is this what you take baby asprin for?

Thought I would stop by the new thread and say hi! I hope we all have BFP's this month!!
Today is CD 18. I have no idea if I have O'ed or not. I have been having random cramps like I am for three days. So obviously they all couldn't be O cramps. I have had pretty good CM though so I hope that is a good sign.
Good luck to everyone who is testing soon!!

Just checking in... thanks to Yolanda and Sarah for GL for me tomorrow.... here's hoping i can come in and start February off with a BFP... anyone else testing soon?
Sorry about the BFN Jess. I'm not sure what to do about the "AF" are you sure it's officially her? Maybe this is something better..... I wish I could help more.
Thanks for the new thread, threadmisstresses!!!

It's so exciting to have a new thread after the way that the January one ended with so many BFP's! I hope that we get a lot more BFP's this month! :)
Sorry to hear about the BFN Jess! I don't know what to think about your AF. That's strange.
Good luck to those who are testing! I'm looking forward to seeing some BFP's this month!
I'm on CD25 and I know that I'm out for the month. I won't have AF for a few days, but I know that this was not our cycle. Too many circumstances prevented us this month so I'm not going to be too bummed when AF shows this month. This is the only cycle that I'm going to say that though! I just want AF to show so I can get started with the next cycle!
Happy February everybody! :)

I'm feeling this will be a lucky month as well!
I'm on CD 27. I've been having headaches and feeling nauseated since Saturday. At first I thought maybe it was a migraine, but the headache intensity has been much less severe than a typical migraine for me, so I'm not so sure anymore. I'm going to try to hold off to testing until Friday (if I can be that patient)!

Thanks for sticking around to check in on us, Ericka. :) And thanks for the encouragement in the last thread. I'm still not very optimistic because my high temps yesterday and today are with me being in a new climate and in a hotel room that has been pretty warm. I really hope that some of the good luck wore off onto me too though! :D
Sorry that I can't do SO's right now. I'll try after work today or tomorrow.

Just checking in - I am at CD22 right now. AF is not due until Feb. 14th, so - nothing much is going on at this point...
I've had some pretty strange abdominal pains this month, earlier in the cycle (about 1 1/2 weeks ago). It started out as this sharp pain in my lower right (and then left) side, then turned into back pain. Then it disappeared for a few days and now I am feeling it again this morning. I thought that 1 1/2 weeks ago these were O pains, but - why am I getting them again now?
Well, in any case - I hope that we see a whole bunch of BFP's in here this month! Good luck to everyone testing soon!

Zhanna Wouldn't it be nice if you DIDN'T get AF for Valentine's Day! I hope this is it for you.
Good luck Twylla!
Jess Sorry I can't help.
Maybe this will be the month for the rest of us in here. Quick question, do any of you ladies ever freak out about having a baby? Especially if you are trying for your first. I was devastated when AF showed and then last night I was lying there thinking, "maybe we're not ready, maybe we should wait." I kept these thoughts to myself but what is that? AF hormones daparting or something? Very bizarre because I know when I get close to O time I will be ready again.
zhannushka
02-01-2006, 10:16 AM
pacificbliss: yes, that would be an awesome V-day gift for hubby (and myself) :p I am definitely hoping for that...
I do think about that often - even though both of us really want a baby, it's very scary nevertheless... It will change our whole lives forever and there will be no turning back. A friend of mine (whose baby is now 9 months old), when she got pregnant said to me: "There's never a RIGHT time to have a baby. You can always think of a million excuses why you may want to wait, but if your heart tells you that it's the right time, then it must be..."
MrsKinnison
02-01-2006, 10:52 AM
I definately freak out sometimes, especially in the days right before my fertile time, so I literally just went through the same thoughts the other day. It's like all of a sudden my mind said "whoa, what are we doing??" I think it is just such a huge step in life, with a lot of changes and unknowns, that no matter how much you want it, it still scares the pants off you sometimes.
Michelle
02-01-2006, 11:06 AM
I definitely think about if we are ready yet. Especially since there are no babies around us and it would be something that I'm new to. But we're not getting any younger and I want be a mom. Although overall, the thought of getting pregnant and becoming a mom scares the crap out of me but I know it's right for us to try now.
As far as the question in the Jan thread about being scared to tell your boss. I am. But I'll just have to take that as it comes and keep my fingers crossed for that one!
Zhannushka - I hope that AF stays away for Vday! That would be a fantastic Vday suprise!
Twyla - Good luck testing!
Houseblend - Good luck on Friday!
Ericka - Thanks for checking in with us! I hope some more of your baby dust spreads!
Yolanda

I don't really seem to freak out about having a baby. I'm nervous of course. The thing I am most scared about is something happening to the baby during pregnancy or just in life. As it is, I constantly worry about something happening to those around me. I am actually considering seeing a counselor about it--it's that bad.
Another question:
Is anyone afraid/nervous to tell the boss/co-workers about your pregnancy once you do become pregnant?
I am really nervous--not about telling my boss, but telling my co-workers. They can be pretty judgemental. I am the youngest in the office, so I get teased about that a lot. Another girl here is going to be TTC #2 here in a couple months, and I am nervous that we will end up being close in pregnancy.
Anyone else??
zhannushka

In addition to what I posted before (weird abdominal pains), I have this new thing as of about 4 hours ago - my stomach feels... "tingly" (is that a word?) Of course, this could be totally TTC un-related, but - I have never felt this sensation before... Has anyone ever heard of this?

Is anyone afraid/nervous to tell the boss/co-workers about your pregnancy once you do become pregnant?
I am, but I'm not. I know they'll all be thrilled for me. I'm the youngest in my office but I'm still 29. The thing that makes me nervous is the timing, my busiest time of the year is November/December and of course if we get pg soon that is when I would be out. But I'll just have to explain that we've been trying since June and this is the timing we got stuck with and hope they don't hold it against me.

CD7 not much going on. Next week is the "fun week" as I've told DH since I usually O around CD12-14. ;)
I totally go back and forth on the ready to have a baby thing. We don't own a home yet are aren't the most financially secure. So usually my thoughts of not being ready are money related. However, I know that there will always be something that makes me think we aren't ready. We are turning 28 and 30 in just a couple of months, so we are really anxious to start our family. Especially since we would like 2 or 3 babies and I'm not getting any younger. :D
I've actually already mentioned to my boss that we were TTC. She is a new boss and is very family oriented. She is the mother of 3 young ones. She was telling me all about motherhood and that her and her husband are wanting to adopt. So the timing just felt right. She seemed excited for me. Now my old boss wouldn't even let me hold any babies that came into the office. She would always tell me "Don't you even think about it!" I know she was joking but there was definatly some truth to it. I wouldn't exactly have been scared to tell her but I know she wouldn't have been as excited as my new boss seems to be. New boss has also already told me that she is extremely flexible and willing to let me work part time if ever needed. So that's good to know that I would have the option to go back to work part time after the baby is born. :)

Haven't been here for a while...just figured I'd check in.
CONGRATS ERICA!!!! HH 9 months to you!
Not feeling this is is our month (AGAIN). Starting to (or continuing to be) get really discouraged. This is the end of cycle 8 for us. I expect AF by SUnday.
We just decided that we will be moving home to Missouri at the end of June, which of course would be 1 year mark for us...so I will have to start over with another doctor once we move...assuming I'm not PG...I REALLY don't want to have to go through an infertilty workup...I think that it will cause issues with DH (and therefore possibly with US)- BUT I REALLY want another baby.
OK...enough feeling bad for myself (at least publicly). Good luck to everyone in February. Lets have lots of Thanksgiving babies!

Thanks Emily for the congrats.
Don't give up just yet. I know it's easy to get discouraged, for me it was 9 months since Rebekah and 8 months since we got the ok to start trying again. I think for me the Lord just wanted me to get my wisdom teeth taken care of first so I wouldn't have issues with them anymore.
I will continue to cheer you ladies on. Hope this is a great month.

I definitely get scared sometimes thinking about having a baby. It is such a huge step and such a drastic change in lifestyle. I love sleeping in and running into a store quick and going to the theater and movies. But, then the feeling passes and I can't seem to get pregnant fast enough. I always have a hard time imagining myself in major changes in life. In high school, I could never picture myself going to college. In college, I couldn't imagine myself out in the work force. Then it was hard to imagine myself married. Not that I didn't want these things, but they were so foreign from what I knew that I somehow couldn't believe they would happen to me. Now I feel that way about having a baby.
Jess71903

I know how you feel about the infertility thing, emermel. I get more anxious with each passing month. I think I posted a few days ago that I get the way you are now at the end of each cycle, mostly out of pessimism. It hasn't happened so far, why would this month be any different? That said, I went and bought DH some boxers and multi-vitamins today and me some baby asperin. I am trying everything I can come up with!
As for me, AF showed up in full force last night. She stuck around today, although it has tapered off to pretty light this afternoon. I never though I would be wishing for heavier periods! Spend your whole adolescence wishing for long cycles in between very light periods...now I want medium flow, shorter cycles!

What is baby asprin for? Are light periods a bad thing? How light is light? Sorry for all the questions, but I've seen baby asprin mentioned, but have no idea what it is for. Also, I consider myself to have fairly light periods and have wondered if it mattered or not.

I'm curious about the baby asprin and lighter periods also. My periods barely last 2 days and my cycle is usually only 24 days. That worries me! Although usually it's great to have light periods now I wonder if it is hurting me or is a sign that something isn't working properly.

Wow! I have been away for a few days and this thread gets busy. 5 pages to catch up on.
A big congrats to Twylla! What a great way to start off a new thread!
I get scared about how a baby will change our lives and all the things that can go wrong when raising a kid but I know that it's only a temporary freak out. As far as telling co workers and my boss...I am not really scared to tell them. I am a teacher and so all the people I owrk with love kids (and pregnancy). While we were out and they figured out how long I have been married they all started talking about how it was time for us to have a baby!:o I was embarrassed because I didn't know what to say. I agree of course but still. I am more worried that being pregnant will effect my ability to teach well.
I am only on CD 11 and since my cycles have been between 32 and 44 days I have a while to wait. I am using a fertility monitor this month, so hopefully that will help us out.
Here's hoping that the quick BFP is a sign of many more to come this month!

Hey ladies! Please count me in. :) DH and I are ready to give DD a sibling. I charted purely out of amusement with DD, and started again this time around, but I was getting too stressed out a few cycles ago. Now we are just SWH and hoping to get pregnant sometime before August. Long story, but we move alot (DH's work) so I want to have baby #2 before we move again.
Me: Nina (30) - Birthday (June 14)
DH: N. (30)
Married: Date (November 15, 2003)
Last BCP: 2/04 (Birth Control Pill)
DS/DD : DD, 3-19-05
TTC #2 since: SWH since 9/05
BTW, HUGE congrats to Twylla!!!! My dear pal! I am sooooo incredibly thrilled for you and your DH! :D :D :D
edited to correct my errors....

Welcome Nina!!
I'm pretty sure I O'd yesterday, but I'm not too hopefull for this month. With the kitchen renovation going on, we only bd'd on thursday :( Our house has been in a complete state of disarray, we haven't had a sink or a stove/oven all week, and the contents of our cabinets can be found just about anywhere. Chris has been up till after midnight every night this week working on it with a friend of our (we are very lucky to have such a good friend!) plus had a huge week for work, and has been totally exhausted! Definately tough to be "in the mood" and a horrible week for timing it all, but atleast I will have an awesome new kitchen and really cool looking appliances!!! It should be done this afternoon, just in time for our Superbowl party. Talk about cutting it close!
But hey, it only takes one time right??? Theres still a possibility, I just won't be getting my hopes up about it!

So that will put me at a 10/16 due date based on LMP.

Re: Baby asprin- it is supposed to help improve the quality of the uterine lining. I worry with short periods that it means I don't have enough in there to support a pregnancy. I am not sure that this is true or not...My best friend said hers were short after going off BCP and she got pg in 3 months, so I donno...I know stopping and starting is a problem because then the lining isn't shedding in sync. My dr. said if that keeps happening to let her know and we we do something about it (progesterone?) Anyway, I have heard it helps, so I am trying it. DH is also taking vitamins and wearing boxers, so we're trying all we can!

I have this same problem. My cycles are really short - this last cycle was only 24 days. I hate taking pills, so the baby asprin doesn't sound appealing, but a baby does - so maybe I'll have to make a compromise.

I am at CD27, AF is due on the 14th. I have been feeling very strange the last few days - constant headaches, REALLY bad cramps and backaches. I'm also very bloated and gassy and my BB's feel achy and extremely tender... I am hoping that as unpleasant as all these are - they are symptoms of something very good :p , but then again - it may just be nothing... :( So - I am just waiting and pretty much going crazy for at least another week...

Welcome neenbean! Hope your stay is short and sweet:)
Congrats Twylla!! I really had a feeling you were going to get a BFP!
I am due for AF either today or tomorrow. I am having a lot of symptoms that could just be AF coming or something else:D
One major one is that my bb's have been sore for about 2 weeks now. At first, they were really sore and tender-so much that I had to wear a bra to bed. The soreness and tenderness kind of faded, but never really went away. Now, the past few days they have been super sore again. It's just weird. But maybe it is just my new thyroid medication. Is that possible?

zhannushka and Yolanda - Both of your side effects definitely sound like promising signs to me. I don't know much about thyroid medication side effects, but I would think that wouldn't cause sore bbs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of you!

Delaney- I feel the same way about the pill stuff. I hate taking the prenatals. The kids asprin is a tiny little orange-flavored chewable thing, so it's not so bad.
We went to my pg. friend's house last night for the Super Bowl. After everyone else left and before we did, she gave me what was left of a OPK. It had been given to her by another of our friends that now has a 4 month old. Pg friend never got to use it because she was already pg and didn't know it when the friend gave it to her. I feel like the poor infertile friend...it was sweet though and I plan to use it.

Gosh, I have soooo much to catch up on! I'm so tired though. I could crash right now. Possible pg symptom? Who the heck knows? LOL My bbs are aching lately too over the past 3 days. They haven't been achey like this for months and months. It used to happen just before AF but that stopped a while ago, like at least 7 months ago. I tested on Saturday and it was - but I think that's because I really didn't O until a week or so ago. So now my 2WW is extended. I can handle it if I just get some good news in the end. ;) :D I'll try to catch up with everyone tomorrow. I think I'm going to go to bed.

I am really tired today. I feel like I haven't slept in weeks. According to previous cycles, AF should make her appearrance today....but hopefully she won't show :D :D
Normally, the day I start AF, I get this pain (like a scratch inside my uterus--with like a fingernail) and then she really does show within just an hour or two. I had a somewhat similar pain earlier this morning..not the same pain. It was lower, and just really a different pain.
I feel like I am coming down with something.

I can't wait for tomorrow, Yolanda! I hope you have a BFP to show us! I am thinking it's your time too, Jnshanna! When are you testing?
I am at CD 9 today. I took my first OPK today. While it was negative (lighter than the control), it was cool to see a line after POAS. I am hoping the kit is lucky, too, neenbean! We are planning to really cover our bases this month, hubby working or not, so maybe we will have a better chance. If not, DH goes to the day shift Feb 19, is wearing boxers instead of boxer-briefs, and taking one-a-day vitamins, so if not this month, maybe next.

Can everyone tell me what they know about evap lines?? How soon will an evap line show up? Is it the same purple-ish color?
I did a search and could not find anything...maybe I'm not searching right?
Thanks guys!
Ericka_Jarett
02-08-2006, 08:21 AM
Yolanda, what brand of test were you using?
Here is something I found on Evap lines:
What are evaporation lines?
Evaporation lines, as the name suggests are caused due to evaporation of the urine in the test area. These are lines that shows in the result window of the test, exactly where a positive sign would be. An evaporation line develops when the urine on the test area begins to dry, leaving a faint, usually colorless line. Evaporation lines appear to show up (or not show up) as a result of the composition of the particular urine specimen - and they may appear on any test regardless of brand.
How can you avoid formation of evaporation lines?
You should always read the literature that comes with the test and look for instructions on when to read your results. Usually home pregnancy tests have a reaction time of three to five minutes. While some tests are no longer accurate after a certain amount of time, others have been known to pick up Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) after a longer period of time than is recommended. You can only know for sure by testing again a few days or a week later. If you don't see a positive result in the amount of time that the manufacturer states, you should not rely on that test result. Evaporation lines can cause confusion if the home pregnancy test is not interpreted within the clinically recommended time frame.
zhannushka

Yolanda, this is the info on evap lines from the POAS site:
Evaporation ("evap") lines result with the test's antibody strip just looks slightly different than the space around it. There is a line of antibodies (usually made from mouse cells) in the Control and Test section. The Control line binds with any liquid and turns pink (or blue, in tests using blue dye.) The Test/Result line turns pink only if pregnancy hormone is detected. If not, the moisture passes over this strip and does not turn pink. It may, however, become more visible when the light hits the moisture on the strip-- it may appear gray, colorless, like a "dent" in the test, or like a "ghost line." It may appear at any time-- as soon as the urine hits it, after a few minutes as the test absorbs the moisture, or after the 10-minute time limit. It may appear when the test is drying, or after it has dried. It may disappear as the test is drying, or after the test has dried, or not disappear at all.
The simple fact is that there is always "something there" that is slightly visible-- it's simply the antibodies on the test that would turn pink in the presence of hCG. When the test becomes wet, or as it dries, or after it dries, the antibody strip may become more visible. Therefore, all tests may have them. It is not a defect; it's just how tests are made.
A real positive is identified by its color (pink or blue, whatever the color of the test's dye is) and its appearance within 10 minutes of urinating on the stick. A line that appears after 10 minutes, regardless of color, must be considered an evap line and is caused by the test's chemicals changing. HPT's are rapid assay diagnostics, which means any results appearing after the "rapid" time limit of 10 minutes are invalid.

So, here's the deal. I used an AccuCLear Early HTP this morning. I thought for sure it was a BFN. I went back to look at it maybe 10 minutes later and I saw (barely) a faint line. I can't quite tell what color it is though...it's that light. I can't remember the time frame given in the instructions.
I am just going to run to Target on my lunch hour and get a digital HPT and test again in the morning.
Eyeyeyey!
Thanks so much for posting info!!

Yolanda - I used the Equate tests on DPO12 and even pulled the digital out and used that one. All came up positive. What DPO are you on? Remember digitals read at a higher concentration, so you may even want to just get a normal test as well as the digital to make sure (the digital are fun because there is no guess work and to see that word Pregnant pop up is so exciting)

Okay, here I go for the craziest of SO's. LOL
Jess ~ I can totally relate to your pessimism! I'm awful about it. I just don't have a lot of faith that it will happen for us. I almost think of it as a coping mechanism though. Like if I tell myself it's just not going to happen this month, it won't hit me so hard when AF shows. It doesn't really work though because I'm still upset when she does. I started DH with vitamins about a month ago but you know what I read? That if men take a vitamin, they won't actually see the effects of it in sperm for about 6 months because that's how long it takes to produce sperm! So I guess that's why they say to have your DH start taking a vitamin before TTC? LOL I obviously didn't listen. But still, it certainly can't hurt so DH is taking his every day like a good boy. :p Thanks for the info on baby asprin!
Jenifer ~ Wow, it sounds like you have a great new boss! That's awesome that she's willing to be so flexible. How's the "fun week" going? ;)
TazLuv ~ How's it coming with the Clomid? I don't know much about it so I'm not sure how long you have to take it. I hope it works for you this month!
houseblend ~ Sorry about AF. :( Lots of luck to you for next cycle!
Ericka ~ Did I miss your second beta number? I saw that it was 166, I'm just wondering how it came out on the second test. I'm sure it was great! :D I just love to see the stats. I'm weird like that. :p Good luck with your appointment today.
Zhanna ~ How fun would that be to get your BFP on V-Day? I have my fingers crossed for you. I love what your friend told you about your heart telling you when it's the right time to have a baby. I completely agree. There is just a deep feeling in me that tells me it's time. And everything will work itself out in the end. There is so much to think about but I think we just have to jump in. You can't plan everything in life! ;) And that's VERY hard for me since I'm such an A type personality. Tingly belly? Hmmmm, I hope it's a good sign! And all your aches recently? I'm hopeful for you!
to be continued....
jnshanna
02-08-2006, 09:31 AM
pacificbliss ~ I totally get freaked out about having a baby so you're definitely not alone! I'm one of those people that believes everything happens for a reason but sometimes that can backfire on me. Like when we don't get pg in a cycle. Just as AF shows I start thinking to myself, maybe this just isn't meant to be? Maybe I wasn't meant to be pg? Maybe we should just adopt like DH has always wanted to do? But like you said, it does pass eventually and then I'm all ready to go for the next cycle.
MrsKinnison ~ LOL, I think I hear "Whoa, what are you doing" in my head each month too. When you think about it, I guess it isn't much different than having "cold feet" when it comes to getting married. So many go through it because it's such a huge life change. This is pretty much the same thing. There has to be a little bit of doubt going into something that is unknown. Try to keep the faith about this month. BDing the day before O is actually pretty good timing! I know how you feel though. We only BDed the day of O so I'm not that hopeful either. But we have to try to stay positive even though it's hard. How is the kitchen? That sound so awesome. The kitchen is my favorite part of the house. You're so lucky to get a new one!! :D You should post pics if you have some.
Yolanda ~ You're so sweet worrying about everyone around you. But I'm sure that can take its toll on you. It would probably be a great idea to see a counselor for it. I'd actually really like to see a counselor just because. I bet it feels great to get all your feelings out to someone objective.
Michelle ~ When I was reading through old posts I saw yours on 1/31 saying that you just knew this wasn't your month. How awesome is it that it really was your month! :D
Looty ~ Those questions from co-workers, friends and family are tough! When people find out that we've been married for over 10 years, they immediately ask about kids and why we don't have any. It has started to sting a bit now because we're actually trying and it just hasn't happened yet. At least before I could just say that we decided we wanted to wait a little longer. Now I just tell them that it will happen someday or something like that. I'm glad that being a teacher helps you feel more at ease about getting pg and that you have the support at work. :)
Welcome Nina!!
Thanks for volunteering to be co-threadmistress, Looty! :D
Telling work about being pg: I've already told my boss that we're trying to get pg because she's asked me about it before. She's really, really excited and can't wait until I am. But I'm not sure it has hit her yet that things will be pretty crazy at work while I'm gone. I want to take as much time off as possible. I plan to use all my sick and most of my vacation time. After I do come back to work though, she's already told me that I can move my office to my house since I already work remotely. So it will be nice to have that flexibility. I'm not sure it will work for me but I'm willing to give it a shot. I think it'll be pretty hard working around the clock. Either with the baby or for work. So that's kind of scary to me.
Sorry to anyone that I might have missed. I tried to catch everyone. I hope we continue to see some BFP's!!

Shanna - sorry, maybe I forgot to post it here, it was 311. I went Monday for another draw as I was suppose to go Friday but was going to be traveling early. I was suppose to get a call back yesterday but didn't, so will find out today when I go (30 mins), I'll be sure to post that beta.
So far they are: 166 - 12DPO, 311 - 14DPO, 2,539 - 19DPO
I got another draw done again today, doctor hopes to see it in the 4,000. My preogesterone was 17 on Monday, she wants that to be at least 20.

Congrats Michelle! I hope I didn't leave anyone out but if I did congrats to all of you! I think our group is tiny now!! I hope next month is our month. We were not able to do anything this cycle because DH ended up in the ER with side pains so hopefully next month will be our month, I hope, I am so ready to graduate.

I am at CD 9 today. I took my first OPK today. While it was negative (lighter than the control), it was cool to see a line after POAS. I am hoping the kit is lucky, too, neenbean! We are planning to really cover our bases this month, hubby working or not, so maybe we will have a better chance. If not, DH goes to the day shift Feb 19, is wearing boxers instead of boxer-briefs, and taking one-a-day vitamins, so if not this month, maybe next.Jess, I really hope we are right about the good luck charm of that OPK!!! Are boxer briefs really that bad for the boys???? DH switched to wearing them just before we got pregnant with DD and has been wearing them ever since (about 2 years now).... Do you think he needs to switch back to regular boxers? He hates them now that he has tried the boxer briefs. I would love to get pregnant soon, but will not be too anxious unless we aren't seeing a BFP bu June or July, then I will be freaking.
Good luck with POAS Yolanda! I really hope this is your month. :D

Neenbean- My husband wears boxer briefs, so I don't really think yours will have to go back to boxers. It's all a matter of timing. Truly this time around like last, I just tried to relax and we actually almost missed our chance to get pregnant, cause I just wasn't in the mood to bother "trying" at that time. I charted lightly, but hubby asked me what day I was on and said, I'm surprised your not having us "try" I even told the doctor that today and she was like that's the best way, just let it happen.
looty

Neen-I agree with Ericka that boxer briefs probably aren't bad. I think that it is just wearing something really tight would be bad. I would be more worried about wearing tight pants and such which I am sure isn't a problem with today's styles for guys. :)
Jess-I hope that the OPK is lucky and that you complete the trifecta. :D
Shanna- I am impressed with the SO. I don't do that for one day much less all the days you were gone on vacation. No problem on helping out. I hope I can do a good job. That si so cool that your boss is so excited and that you may get to work from home. It would be hard to be on 24 hours a day but the way I look at it, it would be that way if you worked outside the home (at work and hten straight home to baby) or if you were a SAHM. I would love to be able to so something to stay home but still get paid!
Yolanda~I can't wait to hear if this is an evap line or not. Was the line a color at all? It sounds like if it was it isn't an evap line. I hope we hear about a BFP tomorrow from you! I am excited for you!
Ericka~Did you ever hear from your doctor? I can go to your journal to find out but I am sure all of us would like to know!
I am still waiting to get a peak day on the fertility monitor. I have gotten a few high ratings which supposedly lead up to the peak days but haven't gotten the peak yet. We are making sure to get some practice in though!;)

Wow, everything is so active. Update on me...I finished my first round of Clomid last Thursday, so we are in the BD stage now and I go in for my first progesterone test on Valentine's Day, that will start my 2WW and if AF doesn't show up by 2/27 I'll test. I stopped charting b/c it was stressing me out but now I kind of wish I was so that I'd know what my temps were like. Double-edged sword, oh well - this is better, at least that is what I keep telling myself! :)

Busy, busy girls!
I didn't mean to scare anyone with the boxer-briefs comment. I don't think they are bad, but I am going kinda nuts on optimizing our chances this month, and that is just somehthing I picked to change for DH (with his permission). I know that excessive heat is bad for the boys, so things that hold them the "beans" up close to the body would be bad, as well as long hot baths. I am just obsessing. Don't listen to me!
Shanna- UGH about the vitamins! I guess it really doesn't matter, since DH needs them anyway- he is a terrible eater-so I guess it can't hurt...now, I do know a girl who went to an herbalist, and he put her DH on zinc and said they'd be pg in 3 months...they were. The multi DH is taking has zinc in it so maybe that will help at least.
Yolanda- can't wait to hear the next test results! I agree with Ericka. I would get a more sensitive "regular" test (I like Equate too) as well as the digital, just in case it's not enough to show up on the digital.
Taz- have fun with the BD fest! I hope this is your month!
Gettin kinda sick of hearing about all the babies! I just feel so left out and sad! It's hard that nobody IRL really knows we are TTC (well, very few know, but not how seriously we are trying). I kinda wish I had someone to talk to IRL, but I feel like this is a private thing for us and DH would definitely freak if he thought I was sharing! My best friend is 6 months pg. and her pregnancy is all I hear about. I really want her to enjoy it and that's the reason I don't talk about it with her. I don't want her to think she has to feel guilty or something. Anyway, thank you girls so much for being there. I think this community is awesome! I don't know what I would do if I had to deal with all of this stuff and not tell anyone!
ETA: I didn't mean I was sick of hearing about all of our BFPs. I meant the topic of conversations IRL

Sorry ladies,
I thought I posted my info here, guess not, hubby came home and he had me reformat my computer for most of the night.
My appt was for my annual, she did talk a little about the pregnancy though. She did a re-culture to make sure the bacteria I had with Rebekah is not back. She said that the baby seems to be in my uterus which is great news. I am about 5 weeks along (based on when I O'd not the 1st day of my last period, so it's about a weeks difference) and she gave me a script for an u/s for next week, then will see her for an OB appt in about 2 weeks and then another u/s. She wants to make sure all is perfect with this pregnancy. She said she will probably overkill everything, but rather safe than sorry. She is going to send me for an early sugar test.
My betas were 2,539 and Progesterone was 17

I heard that about zinc too, Jess. My DH's has zinc too so I'm hoping it will help. :D I totally understand what you mean about babies IRL. It's killing me. Not only do I know people that just had babies, it seems to be everywhere! Especially on tv and with celebrities. It really breaks my heart. Even more so when I realize that I think I'm out this month too and have to start all over again. :( And my cycles are totally out of wack. I'm starting to get pretty scared to be completely honest.
That's awesome news, Ericka. :D I'm so glad your dr is keeping a close eye on things. I bet it makes you feel so much more at ease.
So, how'd it go, Yolanda? I hope you got good news.
LOL, I love your new avatar, looty. Too cute!
I hope your DH is feeling better, tinkerbelljenny. Is he okay?
Have fun BDing, Taz. ;) I just I'm just about to the point of not charting anymore too. My temps are all over the place and the ups and downs are really killing me. But then I think that I really need to stick with it so that I have some proof to give my dr. It's a tough decision!
So like I said, I'm feeling pretty depressed about things today. My temp went down again and I had some brown spotting this morning. My bbs are still tender but not as sore as they have been in previous days. I guess I just have to wait a couple days and AF will probably be here. I'm so bummed. Hopefully things will work for us this next month. We'll be in Vegas during my fertile time so that'll be fun. ;) The only problem is my O changes so much that I have like a 2 week period that could be fertile so who knows. Ugh!

**********WARNING - TMI TO FOLLOW**********
So after going to the bathroom (#2) this morning I had EWCM. This is quite possibly the first time I have ever even really had EWCM, and today there was a good amount of it and overall I had a really "wet" sensation. I've always been kind of concerned about the little CM I have so I would normally be excited about this, but I am 6DPO??? Is my body totally bachwards or what    Usually I tend to have a lot of creamy cm a few days after O, but never this.

MrsKinnison, same exact thing happened to me this cycle. I heard that it's a good sign and that's what I'm hoping for...
Ericka, that sounds great - I'm so excited for you! :D
********
I am at CD30 today. AF is due in 4 days... I tested a few times in the past few days, but got all BFN's. I am just hoping that it was too early to test still. All the weird pains and cramps I was having seem to have disappeared. My BB's are not even really sore anymore. I don't even know what to make of all this. :(

Sorry, MrsKinnison, I have no words of wisdom. I am still learning all this myself.
I did not test this morning. I just didn't want to see a BPN. I decided I will test on Saturday morning.
Right now, I am feeling AF type cramps. Usually I don't get AF cramps until I have already started.
Why does this stuff have to make us so crazy and stressed?!

Yolanda- you have amazing patience!!!!!! Unbelievable. :)

Yolanda - way to go on the patience.
Me - I have my first u/s next Tuesday at 2:30. Doctor is having me take 2 premertriums (for progesterone) a day now, don't know how high my level was, but guessing it wasn't 20 yet. My beta was up to 5,341 though. Nurse makes no sense when she calls me though. She says well remember 15% of women don't have a rise, but yours is going up so that's good. Why do I need to hear that every time I call there? My numbers went up and will continue to increase, Thank you Lord. I think I may have to have a talk with doctor about how the nurse has mentioned this the last 2 times I have called.
I had to see the family practioner today for my referral for the u/s. My normal doctor was booked until March, so I told the receptionist I have an appt for a fetal u/s next week so she got me in today with another doctor. That doctor was shocked to even have to do a referral for me for a fetal u/s, I told her it was the insurance company. She was more than happy to write the referral (I talked to her about Rebekah and she was very sorry to hear about my loss) and said if I need any other referrals she will gladly write them up.

Thanks Shanna! I thought it was pretty cute and it made me laugh. :D
MrsKinnison~I don't know about the CM. Are you sure you Oed when you think you did? I know increased CM after O can mean pg but I am not sure when that starts. Sorry I am not much help.
zhannushka~I hope Af stays away and you continue the string of BFP! If may have just been too early.
I can't believe that you haven't tested again yet Yolanda. When I get a BFN I want to test again the next day and here you are possibly with a BFP and you don't test again. You have far more willpower than I.:D
I am so glad to hear that the numbers are looking good and that you get to have an u/s soon, Ericka. How nice to be able to see the baby so soon and more than once. I would talk to the doc about the nurse. I don't know why she has to tell you that everytime, especially since your numbers are going up.

Jess - I agree it is so great to have this community here. Somehow I don't feel right telling people IRL that we are trying. I like that here I can control when I talk about it and that we are going through it at the same time. I know if I told people irl, they would be asking me every week, "So are you pregnant yet?" It is really great we can all share what we are going through.
jnshanna - Sorry you are feeling down. This last Tues. when AF came hit me hard, too. Fortunately I have been busy at work this week to distract me.
MrsKinnison - I'm definitely still learning about all this, but that does sound like a promising sign!
zhannushka - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is your month!
Yolanda - I know what you mean about not wanting to see a BFN. I've waited to test for that reason before, too. Isn't it weird how our bodies seem to change normal routine when we are trying? It sure makes waiting nerve wracking!
Erika - Insurance companies sure can be a pain! It sounds like you are in the hands of some great and caring doctors. Keep us posted!

02-10-2006, 09:06 AM
Sorry, I'm no help MrsKinnison. I have heard that some women do have fertile CM even after they O but I'm not sure why and whether that's a problem or not.
Zhanna ~ It could definitely just be too early for your BFP. Hang in there! :)
Good luck tomorrow, Yolanda! I'm so checking in as soon as I can to see how it went.
Yeah, I'd mention something to your dr about the nurse too, Ericka. Sheesh! Isn't their job to keep you feeling at ease? Why harp on the statistics everytime?
houseblend ~ I'm glad you're busy and distracted. That's always good during this time of our cycles. :) I can't believe how my body has changed since starting to try. My O date has consistently gone later and later every month. So strange! I guess it's just the constant thinking about it. I'm going to chart for one more month and then take a break from it. I want to have 6 months of charts to show my dr so I'm continuing for one more month even though I really feel like stopping now because I'm so frustrated.
So AF really did end up showing last night. Moving on to next cycle.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you girls how great you all are! I don't know how I would have gotten through the past two weeks without the support of this community...
No news on me yet - I have decided not to test until at least Sunday (2 days before AF is due)... I have been cramping on and off and my BB's were killing me last night, but are not so sore today. I did feel quite nauseaus for a while last night, but that went away as well...
Wishing everyone here a http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v196/zhannushka/bfp.gif!!!
Yolanda
02-10-2006, 10:43 AM
Patience is my best quality:p But really, it is killing me. AF still hasn't shown up and it is CD36. BB's still sore. But here's a new one: When I press on my tummy or lean over the counter, it is sensative and send a pain to my left bb. The pain goes away instantly when I stop putting pressure on my tummy.
Has anyone experienced this with just AF? Or have those who are pregnant (and checking in) experienced this as a sysmptom?
Sorry about AF, jnshanna:(
Ericka_Jarett, I bet you are excited to see your little peanut! Good luck!

Yolanda - I am excited to see the baby, when I had my first u/s with Rebekah she was already 14 weeks so you could see everything already. This will be excited to see this little one from the very start. :)
As for the symptoms, heck I would test today, you would probably get a BFP if you are pregnant anyway. I tested different times of the day after DPO12 and got reads of positive. Anytime I leaned or put any pressure on my stomach it felt weird, it was very uncomfortable and seemed to put pressure elsewhere (my chest or arms) so it could very well be that you are pregnant.

Alright, I am going to test tomorrow. I will update ASAP if I get a BFP.
Has anyone talked to Twylla? She hasn't been back since the good news:confused:
I hope everyone has a good weekend! TGIF!!

02-10-2006, 04:35 PM
Unfortunately, Twylla had to drop from the October board, she had apparently a chemical pregnancy or bad test. Here is her post from the October thread:
Hi ladies. After talking to the doctor today, I have to drop out of this thread. I'm sorry. We don't know if I had a CP, or if the first tests didn't work proerly, or what. I'm going back for more tests... though the doc did say to continue to act like I'm PG... no meds, drinking, eat well, etc.
Anyway, good luck to everyone else. Maybe i'll get lucky and be able to join a November or December thread...

02-10-2006, 04:44 PM
Shanna I am sorry to hear about AF! I was hoping this was it for you since it seems all the ladies helping with the thread have been getting BFPs. My O date keeps moving back too (or at least I am assuming it is because my cycles are getting longer). It isn't fun at all!
Good luck zhannushka and Yolanda! I hope we get some good news from both of you very soon!
I am sorry to hear about Twylla. :( What exactly does a chemical pregnancy mean?
Ericka_Jarett
02-10-2006, 04:52 PM
looty - it means you have a sac, but it's empty, no baby in it. You can get positives with a chemical though, as your body is preparing for a baby.

Oh, that breaks my heart about Twylla! I told my DH that she was my "sad buddy" cuz it seemed like she had been around about as long as I had TTC and we had seen so many BFPs move on! I hope she's ok!
CD 12 today and another neg OPK. That's ok, though. I Od CD 14 last cycle, so I am thinking it's just too early. I am out of OPKs, but decided not to buy more because we are going to BD anyway, so why waste the $$??
I work at a school and saw a lady I know in the hall yesterday. She works in a different building and I don't see her all that often. When I saw her, she asked me if I was pg. and after I said no she said that I had "that look". She acted like she didn't believe me and that I probably didn't keep up to know if I was or not. She probably just meant that I looked fat in my scrubs. It made me kinda sad.
Anybody watch Scrubs? It's just about our favorite show. The episode Thurs. night was dealing with Carla getting a "infertility test". They said at some point that she had only been trying 2 months and was worried. Again, sad!

I'm interested in joining the group.
My info:
Me: Allison (25) - Jan 29
DH: Armando (31)
Married: May 22, 03
Last BCP: Mid Sept 05 (Ortho Evra)
TTC since: Nov 1, 05
My story:
I've been charting for the past couple months beginning right after I got off the BCP. I wanted to make sure I was actually ovulating. I just started AF after our 4th cycle trying.
I got so frustrated temping during this past 2WW that I decided I'm done with charting. I typically ovulate on day 14 so I told my hubby that we will have a date to BD on the 13th day of my cycle otherwise we will DTD just whenever we feel like it.
Baby dust to everyone!

Welcome Allison! I hope you don't have to stay around here too long and that not charting helps take some of the stress off you.
I finally got a peak reading on my fertility monitor, which is basically like getting a + on an OPK. I was so happy I started dancing around my bathroom. :o I had to laugh at myself though and thought, "I wonder how I'll be with a BFP not just a + for O'ing." I was so happy because it means that I am surely O'ing and that it is earlier than the past few cycles. We definitely covered our bases. I hope it works this time!:D
Ericka thanks for the info. I am keeping Twylla in my thoughts and prayers.

So, my sister (step really, but I still call her my sis) told me today that she is pg with # 4!! She said they only bd'd 2x's this month, and only once when it could have matter...Obviously it did :D So she says she is really keeping her fingers crossed for me since I am in the same situation and we would be due 2weeks apart. They are hoping for a boy, but not expecting it....she has 3 girls already plus a step daughter! It would be so much fun if this was our month!! we are only planning on 1, so it would be nice to have a cousin the same age.

Hi girls!
Welcome, Allison! This is a great group of ladies! Glad you're here!
YAY! on the peak, looty! I want you to take a video when you test so we can see your reaction when you do get a BFP! I would love to see that! LOVE your new avatar, BTW.
I hope you do get a BFP soon, Mrs. K. It would be fun to have cousins the same age. I have 2 brothers, ages 22 and 13. The 22 yo is no where near settling down. DH has 1 bro who got married last spring, so possible cousins there, but I don't think they are ready for TTC yet. My best friend is 6months pg, so I am just hoping to have one close to her, although I guess I am already past them being in the same grade in school...oh well!
I gotta tell ya, I am TIRED of sex!!! Today is CD 14 and we have BD'd the last 4 days, whether we were into it or not! Today I am a little dry, whether because sex was planned, or because CM is drying up. At any rate, I hope we are done for this month (planned BD anyway)! It's been tough to get in the mood.

02-12-2006, 08:23 PM
MrsKinnison~I hope you are able to give your new neice or nephew a cousin very close in age! That would be so much fun!
Jen~I hate the 2ww but I hate the waiting to O so much more. Do you have any feelings one way or another yet?
Jess~I LOL'ed at your request for a video. I did love that when MapleKitty did that. I have a digital camera with that capabililty too. I am tempted to test when I am out of town for work and I am staying with other teachers so it would be hard to show much reaction and to explain why I am taking a camera into the bathroom. :p I don't know if I'll test then or not. We'll see how it's going at that point. I know what you mean about being tired of sex. Since we got the peak we have been busy and I wanted to try to do it one more time tonight (and we probably will) but I am tired already and I don't really want to. I am sure I'll change my mind pretty quick though. ;)
Thanks tinkerbelljenny and Neenbean for the cheers.
Any news Yolanda or zhannushka?

Welcome, Allison! Even though this is a great community, I hope your stay here is short and sweet! :)
I tested today and still - BFN :( AF is due in two days and at this point I pretty much feel that I'll be getting a visit from her rather then a BFP  I don't have any AF symptoms, but I rarely do... I had terrible heartburn today, but I'm sure that it probably has to do with something else and not being PG...
Jess, I know exactly what you're talking about - sex for us has pretty much turned into baby-making exercise lately and that's kinda sad... It's tough to have to BD on certain days and still feel romantic about it.
Good luck to everyone testing and BD'ing these days! :D

I honestly think the chances are slim for this month, and I will only be 11dpo, but on the off chance I'm wrong I think it would be a really great V-Day surprise for hubby (and me too)! Sure it could just be a waste of a test, but my hopes aren't up so it wouldn't be too upsetting, but if it was + it would be really great. On the otherhand, I wonder if I should just not test and see if AF shows or not....What would you girls do?
Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the BFN's, Yolanda and Zhanna. :( But just like the others have said, never count yourself out until AF shows her face. You really never know. :)
I'm so sorry to hear about Twylla. She's in my thoughts.
It's so tough when people say you "look" like you're pg, Jess. I've had a couple people tell me that in the past few months. People really don't understand how hurtful that can be. Sorry you had to deal with someone like that. And boy do I hear you about the sex!! It's so hard to keep things exciting. I feel bad doing it just because we "have to". It was fun the first couple of months because we were taking the leap into TTC but now that it's been a few months, it's getting pretty tough.
A turkey baby sounds great, tinkerbelljenny! :)
Welcome Allison! :D
Woo Hoo for the peak reading looty!! How exciting. I soooo want a fertility monitor but I don't think I could justify the cost to DH.
Wow, MrsKinnison, that's pretty cool about your sister! Proof that it really does only take one time. As far as testing tomorrow, I would just for the heck of it since it's V day. But definitely go into it knowing that even if you are pg, you might not get a BFP because it's still a bit too early.
I totally missed maplekitty's video. Bummer! I think I was out of town then. How cool is that? I'm with Jess, I want to see your reaction too, looty. LOL

But definitely go into it knowing that even if you are pg, you might not get a BFP because it's still a bit too early.I have to agree. If you think you can handle the chance of a BFN, then POAS tomorrow! :) That would be the best Valentine's surprise EVER! :D
TinkerbellJenny- more or less, YES! However, March does not need to rush here either. I just want to test already. :p
This is our "time" to BD and DH was not in the mood last night. He is the one that is always talking about wanting this baby NOW- somedays I feel like I need to be pregnant yesterday and other times I am enjoying drinking my wine and not worrying about taking my prenantals. KWIM? Ugh. I have been feeling bloated and tired, sore BBS and crampy for a couple days now. I am only at CD 18 and have little to no CM- unlike every other month since I was a teenager!!!! This is so weird.

Hi Ladies,
I just got back from my weekend away. This was the weekend of my friend's baby shower. It went well and I had a lot of fun but I'm exhausted. I have been so busy I have not been paying attention to the calendar at all. The endo of last week was supposed to be my fertile time. We dtd a few times but didn't exactly cover our bases. Plus, I don't remmeber any EWCM. This is probably not our month.
Sorry about the BFNs and AF arrivals.

This is such a frustrating cycle, I wish it was over!

zhannushka~ Sorry to hear about the -. But like th other ladies have said don't count yourself out until AF shows, besides since AF isn't due for a couple days so it definitely could be too early.
Yolanda~Sorry to hear about AF. I was really hoping this was it for you! I hope that the OPKs help you out next cycle. Thanks for babydust.
MrsK~ I would test if it isn't going to bum you out since there is a chance that even if you are pg you would get that glowing +. It would be a wonderful present for you both. I hope you have an extra special V day!
Shanna~I only got a FM because I used Christmas money. My Dh was all for it. He said if it was going to make me feel better about TTC and help us see if I was Oing, then he was all for it. I will have to take the camera and see if I can sneak it into the bathroom inconspicuously, if I test while I am out of town. I'm sure it would be entertaining. I kept expecting the camera to start flying around when I watched maplekitty's video because I thought she was going to start jumping and dancing and screaming any minute. :o :D
tinkerbelljenny~Kinda and kinda not. I want to move on to next month right after I get a BFP! Although that is right at the end of February so that doesn't help anyone else.
Neenbean~Sorry Dh wasn't in the mood when he needed to be. That is really hard because I told DH rwhen we started that I wouldn't turn into one of those crazy ladies that demands sex, even when neither of us wants it. Isn't it funny how our bodies work better for us when we don't want to get pg than when we do? I remember always hearing that it only takes once (which technically it does) but it is a lot harder to get pg than I ever thought it would be as a teen.
Jess~I just wanted to say thanks for the comps on my avatar. I smile everytime I look at it. :D I figured if I could do that for a few other people then it would be great!
I am officially in my 2ww now. I love knowing exactly what day I should expect Af and when I can test and expect a + if I do. I don't know if I'll get in here again until Wednesday so I just want to say
Happy V-Day!

Hi ladies! Hope everyone is doing well!
zhan- sorry about your -. I know it's a little discouraging even if you still have a shot. By the time I have gone thru yet another 2WW, I feel like I have waited long enough!
Yolanda- SO sorry AF showed up. I thought it was your time too!
Pacific- glad you're back! I gotta say that I envy you a little...you had a cycle without worrying about what CD it was! I know come the end of the month it might not be so great, but I envy you now!
I think if we aren't pg this month, I may take a month or 2 off, not keeping up with CD or charting or anything. That may be tough, though, because all it will take is one look at a calendar and I will know when the "right" time to BD is.
I agree, looty. I think my body is anti-baby or something since we started TTC. I remember thinking as a teen that it must be super easy to get pg. That's all we heard about in Health Ed. I am a little bitter now that they didn't teach us more about our bodies and how they work. Not just the textbook junk.

:( CD 31 and I have spotting. I am sure I will be on in the morning! Man I wish I could have at least made it through Valentine's Day! If in 3 months still we don't have a BFP we are going to our dr. It will be 12 months since our m/c then. We have already talked about it and both agree it is something we feel we need to do then. I hope it doesn't come to that.
Welcome Allison!!!

Sorry to everyone who got AF!
AF is due for me around Sunday. I don't really have any symptoms although I have been having very vivid dreams this week. Usually I have a dream I remember maybe once every two weeks or so. This week it seems that I'm dreaming every night. Not really "baby" dreams (although in last nights, I was pregnant but that wasn't really the topic of the dream). Just some really wacky dreams that make no sense.
Is having lots of dreams a symptom? I guess I've also been a bit more gassy than usual. :o Although that could be attributed to the extra amount of veggies I've been eating in an attempt at getting healthier.
So who knows!

AF is due to arrive today. It's not here yet, but I'm having some very AF-type cramps, which I normally get the day she comes. So - I think I'm out for the month :(

We are always super mellow on V-day. We cook together at home, maybe have some wine. I hope the day brings lots of BFPs.
Now that I am back and things have slowed down a bit I looked at my calendar and I am CD 19 but I have no idea when/if I ovulated. Guess we;ll just have to wait and see :)

I am officially late now, but still - a BFN. I bought a digital EPT today and tested right at work, hoping to give DH some good news for V-day, but - no such luck... :( I am 99.9% sure that I'm out, but - a girl can still hope, right?

Sorry about your DH not wanting to BD, neenbean. Mine does the same thing to me sometimes and it's so frustrating but I feel bad making too big a deal about it because I don't want him to feel like I just want him for the sperm. :p
So sorry about AF, Yolanda. :(
I hope you're surprised this month, pacificbliss. You never know!
You know, when I first read TCOYF, I was so annoyed that I didn't know 90% of that book!! I thought to myself, did I not pay attention in Health class or did they really not tell us any of this? They really should explain more about how our bodies work. I didn't even know what O meant or when it happened. Crazy!
I hope your dreams and gassiness mean something, Jenifer! :)
Sorry AF showed, alliannie.
You can still hope, Zhanna. I'm hoping for you too.
I'm actually kind of frustrated that my cycle is starting over. I'm usually pretty happy about it because we get a fresh start but not so much this month. I'm sure it will pass in a couple days.

Just checking in.
Sorry to hear that AF visited Alliannie. I know how frustrating that can be and on V day. Boo.
Shanna~Sorry to hear that you are feeling down. I have the same feelings when I am at the beginning of a cycle. At first since I have been having long cycles I am glad it is over but then I get negative and disappointed that it hasn't happened yet.
You can keep hoping until AF shows is my motto, zhannushka! Let's hope she doesn't show for about 9 months.
I hope your laid back attitude toward TTC this month pays off for you pacificbliss!
Jen~I have heard that vivid dreams are a pg symptom. I don't count them though because I always have really strange and realisitic dreams. For example last night I dreamt that I went to a club and ran into a drug dealer and he thought I used his drug of choice becuase I was carrying a comb. I convinced him I didn't need any at that time but he started harrassing me and I was so scared that I wanted to move. Then a collector for the drug dealer came to my parents house to get their $$ and I tried to convince him I didn't buy anything but my mom was just wanting the guy out of her house so she paid him. I was crying in my dream by the end. I woke up abruptly and I could tell that my body was actually tensed up and I was so relieved when I woke up and realized it was just a dream. :o I know that I am strange!:D
Anyway I am just waiting in my 2ww. I don't really think that I have any symptoms that can't be explained my something else.
I hope everyone had a wonderful V day!

LOL, that's some dream, looty!
I don't usually have very vivid dreams but I swear I've been having them more and more since we've been TTC. When we first started trying I thought for sure it was a RPS but it wasn't so now I don't put too much stock into it for myself.

 - AF is still not here. I am now at CD36. It's killing me right now that I just don't know what's going on... I am going to test in a few minutes right here at work :) I am pretty sure that it'll be a BFN again, but - who knows?!
My MIL is convinced that I'm PG... We saw her on Sun., and she kept telling me to be careful, 'cause a pregnant woman needs to take care of herself and her body  - I told her that I'm not PG yet, but she said that her intiution is telling her different... Let's hope that her intuition is right! :D

update on me - went for my 1st u/s yesterday, it went great. Baby is measuring 6 weeks and everything looks good the tech said. My 1st OB appt is on Monday, will find out what the doctor plans now. I know I will have my complete bloodwork up again. Feeling a little blah today, no m/s though, praying that stays away this whole pregnancy. (u/s pic is in my journal, last entry I made)

Yolanda, I am so sorry to hear AF arrived. :( I was CERTAIN this was your month!!! So sorry sweetie.
pacificbliss, glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend away. Your months sounds just like mine- BDing, but not neccesarily on the right days, totally not sure when/if I ovulated either and no EWCM. This is so rare for me, too! Good luck to you.
Delaney21, ditto. I am really confused this month as well.
looty- I was so paranoid all through college that even though I was on BCP and using condoms I thought FOR SURE I would get pregnant- I was such a fool. :p That is a seriously WHACKO dream!
jnshanna~I hear you on treating DH like it is just for the spermies, sometimes he wonders, but I am more just interested in DTD. :p Seriously, I am so sick of focusing on scheduling BDing- I want to have fun, too. ;)
Good luck with taking a break Jess71903. Maybe not thinking about this will help.
So sorry to hear AF has arrived alliannie. (and anyone else I missed!)
Chris~n~Jen, Squee, looty- YAY for getting this 2 WW over with! Best wishes with the testing. My AF should be arriving at somepoint next week, probably 8-10 days... Lets hope she waits about 9-10 months to make an appearance for ALL of us!

Thank you for your cheers everyone! Still no sign of AF, but a big fat BFN (I tested again today). I am so sick of seeing BFN's, therefore - I decided to stop testing, 'cause it's driving me insane... I will wait for AF to arrive, and if it doesn't in the next week, I'll go to a doctor for a blood test. DH thinks that it's a good idea as well, since he can tell how upset I get with each BFN... :(
Ericka - the u/s picture is great! How exciting! :D
Chris~n~Jen, Squee, looty, neenbean - good luck with upcoming testing!

Sorry to hear about AF alliannie & Yolanda.
That is one crazy dream looty!
Zhanna, I'm really hoping that this in your month. Being late is a good sign so you never know.
Welcome Laura! Hope your stay is short and sweet!
Update on me! Still having vivid dreams. The last couple of nights I've woken up in the middle of the night so hot. Even today it seems I keep getting hot flashes. I'm actually fanning myself I am so hot. Also feeling odd belly pains. I'm trying not to get my hopes up to much but it is difficult. It's odd because this is now our 5th month trying but it is the first month that I really felt like I had some real symptoms. So who knows!
Interesting tidbit for me ~ I found out today that my boss is preggo! She actually tested this morning. Not very many people know including the owner of the company. She has 3 kids already and they were trying to adopt because each of her pregnancies has been increasingly difficult. With her last she was on bed rest from 4 months, I think. So just thought it would be weird to be preggo at the same time as my boss. At least she can't hold anything against me, ie. feeling crappy, calling out sick, or doctors appointments.
So I'm hoping her + will wear off on me. I'll sprinkle some
******baby dust******* from her! (it can't hurt, right?) :p
