Hi ladies!!
I'm needing some help making my photo tents. I have publisher and word but can't figure out how to get things to print opposite of each other so when I fold my card each side will be readable.
The reason I'm having a two sided tent is because we're doing a photo scavenger hunt for the centerpieces. I need the one side to mention there is a hunt with the flowers as the prize for the first person to complete the list and the other side to list the hunt items.
TIA!!:D

Do you have a picture of a photo tent? Is it a tent folded card with a photo on one side?
In word, there is a function to change the orientation of your text. You would need to use that for the text part since you'll be printing from a portrait feed (presumably).
Does your photo printer print on both sides at once?

no, it's like if you folded a sheet of paper in half. one side would be facing you with words and then you turn it around (still folded) and the other side would be facing you.
I guess I need words on one side and then lower down on the same sheet of paper have words that are upside down?

If you make two seperate documents and only use the lower half of the page, you could make it work. (I'm sure there is a better way to do it, but here is one solution.) Print the text document with the instructions on the lower half of a document...then turn the paper around in the printer and print the picture (which should be in a second document on the lower half.) When you fold the paper in half, both should be facing the correct direction...
OR
Put the text on the lower half of the document...put the picture upside down on the top half...and print. Actually, that should be pretty easy and work.

That's really easy to do in word.
Basically you have two choices -- lay it out portrait length and change your text direction so that your text is upside down on the top half OR layout in landscape and change the text direction so that both text boxes sideways with the top line of each side being closest to the imaginary center fold.

I don't understand how to flip the letters upside down, what do you mean by that??

OK I just opened up word and tried it myself. Turns out you will have to lay out in landscape bc you cannot change text orientation to upside down only sideways.
You have to lay it all out inside of a text box. You can use a text box for both text and images. Once you've got the text box done, highlight everything, go under format then text direction. Rotate the left side 90 clockwise and the right side 90 degrees counterclockwise (so that the top of your text is closest to the where the fold would be in the middle).
