Is anyone else watching this show? I started watching it last season and now I look forward to 9:00 on Tuesday every week. Although I think Jonathan's ego could be brought down a few pegs, I kind of find him sexy. :rolleyes:

I'm so addicted to this show. Absolutely nothing could happen and I would still watch them all just cut hair! I was so glad to see it back for a second season.

I go back and forth between thinking Jonathan is a complete asshat, to him being a big teddybear. I thought it was REALLY big of him to apologize to that dude (who personally, I couldn't stand!).

I love it that he cries EVERY episode... :D

I was thinking of starting this post last night while watching. I have to say, Jonathan is a big'ol butthead! I don't think I've ever seen such a controling, narcisistic, egotistical dick of a man (just my opinion). I honestly don't think I could work at a place where I'd have to tiptoe around so much. And I'm not even a mom, but WTF with everyone picking on the new mom (I thought that was just a classic example of how un-real, reality tv can be - it was so set up!)

Will I stop watching? Nope. :D

I love Blow Out! I didn't care much for Jonathan last year, but I quite like him in this second season. I thought last night's episode was so awesome! That was probably the first time in his entire life that he was the bigger person and apologized to someone and gave credit where credit was due. The marketing guy was a total jackass IMHO, but he did an awesome job on the packaging of the new products.

And I actually think he treats his employees quite well. He is quite demanding, but most successful people are the same.

I wish he'd do something about that god awful assistant Edward who couldn't get through a cutting class without leaving and bawling to his mom on the phone. Um, hello, dude. Get a clue! That really flamey dude, Scott, was bugging the hell out of me, but he's actually really good at his job as an assistant and seems to have a lot of potential as a stylist.

Kimberly drives me crazy. That chic whines nonstop. And she sure does hate Kiara for no apparent reason. So what if she got to go to fashion week and you didn't, bitch? She's more experienced than you are!

All that business about Kiara breastfeeding in the back room pissed Cliff and me off *so* much, too. I wanted to jump through the TV and ask those assholes if they'd like to eat their lunch in the bathroom. If not, they probably shouldn't expect a baby to eat her lunch there, either. Asshats.

Anyhoo, I really do like the show, even though it sounds like I just love to trash the people. I think Jonathan is deep down a really good guy with problems just like the rest of us, but also a very big heart.

I so agree with this. My husband thinks a lot of him being an "asshat" is for the cameras. He can be an arrogant jerk, but I wouldn't kick his cute ass out of my bed! :D

I love this show! Its completely a guilty pleasure. Its one of the few I can even get DH to watch with me sometimes if its on tivo.

As outrageous as jonathan is....he is entertaining to watch!

I am a late bloomer with this show... but I have to admit that it is addicting.

But I guess I will be the first to say it ---- am I the only one who feels like Jonathan is acting!!! His attitude seem a bit exaggerated for the cameras... just my $.02 :rolleyes:

Too bad the season is almost over. I just read that he charges $500 for a haircut. I keep telling myself that if I had that kind of money, I'd for sure get on the waiting list. But then I bring myself back to reality and think I can't help contribute to his income.

LOS ANGELES -- Salon. Hair-care line. Baby. It's not the most logical progression, but stylist Jonathan Antin is indeed going to become a father after launching his Hollywood business ventures on Bravo's hit reality show "Blow Out."

On the upcoming "Blow Out" reunion special premiering on Wednesday Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. ET, Antin once again knocks his team of stylists for a loop when he announces his impending fatherhood.

Although it's not certain if Antin will respond to the birth of his child with his trademark tears or rages, it's assumed that the baby will have a fabulous head of hair. Antin, 37, has been dating longtime girlfriend Sescie, owner of the high-end Sunset Boulevard boutique Brunette.

On the special, Antin will confront his nemesis Scott from Zorbit and reminisce on other hair-raising incidents from the show's past season. Colleagues, friends and family will be on hand to react to the scandals, secrets and revelations in Antin's personal and professional life.

The stylist's sister Robin will host a sneak peek of the special Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 11 p.m. ET.

The second season of "Blow Out" premiered in early June and centers on the launch of Antin's hair-care line Jonathan Product and his relationships with Robin and Sescie.

I can't even imagine Jonathan as a father. I think most of what we see on camera is for the camera and there's a softer side of Jonathan that will make a great dad. Still weird though!

I watched the marathon Sunday and he is something else. I could not stand any of his employees...... They are the typical beauty shop clique :rolleyes:

I loved the drama with him and Scott. I think Scott was in the right.

The girl that got fired on the show was Charissa-his assistant who didn't show.

Oh-i almost forgot about the NYC thing-he was SUCH a baby-it has NOTHING to do with him-its about design not PRODUCT-name or no name!UGH....as much as I enjoy the show, the "reunion" but him back a few notches for me-i just could't believe how awful he was.

I wonder if he hoped that type of show would help his image with the new product launched-since he was such an obvious a** on the show this season!

I like Jonathan, but his ego needs to be brought down a few pegs. Wanting to go to the design awards is a bit much, since he really didn't create the design.

However, did John Propose to his G/F? Was he taken by surprise that she was pregnant? At least that is what the preveiws show -I know that it could have been fancy editing, but I was just wondering.....

I thought it was neat of them to have Jonathan & Robin's parents on the reunion show. I didn't realize they were English!

And maybe I'm just a big sap, but I totally teared up with Jonathan, Sescie, and Robin when Jonathan proposed to Sescie. They seem like a really happy couple. :)

I read somewhere yesterday that Sescie runs a boutique. Not suprised to hear that, given her chic style, even five months pregnant! :)

Yeah, Robin's the founder and still, like, runs the show. I'm not sure whether she still performs with them or not. I agree that her face is pretty much the same as Jonathan's, but she does have a good body. I bet you can't even tell what she really looks like with a ton of stage makeup on her, though, ya know? :)
