jen&dan - I know what you mean!! We all were on pins and needles here! On our local news (Pittsburgh) they said that some guy actually DID have a heart attack right after the ref reversed the call on Troy's interception. Jerome apparently called him and told him for his health, he might not want to watch the game this week ;) haha!

Hey that would be pretty awesome to get a phone call from Jerome Bettis, under different circumstances, of course. I am glad that he was okay.
Too bad I cannot see all of the local stuff on television. I guess that is what I get for living in Bengal territory. There were parades and rallies going on all around me last weekend. My DH was loving it, he is a huge Bengal fan.I have been a steeler fan since I was a kid though. I cannot wait until the game Sunday.

I moved to the Pittsburgh area in 1994. Honestly, I was so turned off by that stupid song that they start singing in July (just in time for training camp), that I could never, ever (even with family roots in PA!) cheer for the Steelers. Singing that song in July just screamed COCKY to me. For that reason, I will always root against the Steelers. So far (since 1994) it's always worked out and they've blown it in one of the last games.
I'm so glad I'm not in Pittsburgh anymore. I love that there is no prentense that the Browns will win. Yeah, we'll cheer them on b/c they are the hometown team, but they're never good enough for us to get cocky. :)
PS...My uncle (perhaps a few) would call blasphemy, so feel free to do the same. :p:D

Jenny-Eh, to each his own. No skin off my back. ;) (My DH would call you a blasphemer, also, but I make no judgements...for years I couldn't stand football. :) )

How freaking exciting is it that the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl?!?!? :D Well, maybe for those of you who aren't from Seattle it isn't so exciting, but around here this is a really BIG deal!! I'm really no football fan, but even I am pretty thrilled for our team today. This year I'll be watching the Super Bowl for more than just the commercials. ;)
