I do think Gymboree makes pretty cute boys clothes but yeah...the holiday line is YAWN! I do like the dog stuff (even though the animal stuff is getting old too  ) but not for the holidays.

See, those of us who've had to dress our sons through two Christmases already are getting a little sick of the
- argyle
- with a plaid shirt underneath
- and cords
- and maybe a train applique
ITA with this. I was hoping for something a bit fresher.
Will they roll out more, or is this it?

Ohh, but I do love the whiteish boy's one-piece with ears! (I love anything with ears, it's my weakness right after old man sweaters on babies. :)

I love the bulldog stuff and the gray toggle coat, but not so keen on the other stuff. Now the girl's line- adorable!!

I like the plaid dress and the red dress with the ivory collar, cuffs, and hem. But I don't love them. That cloche hat is adorable, but I don't think it would work on a very young baby. The pink dresses look too springtimey to me.

I'd like to get something a little more fancy looking for my DD's first xmas though.

I'm mostly bitter because DS is solidly a 2T now, there's no sneaking him into a 18-24 month size anything (I could for the longest time because he's skinny!). So no penguins or dogs for us!
Ok, and I do love the grey coat, but do you think it looks like a real 'warm' coat or just for special occasions? I'm pretty sure I can't justify another lightweight coat since I have a fleece hooded jacket (like the Hanna ones, ours was made by a WAHM though) and this one from Old Navy (in brown) for the fall:

Yeah, Im a bit tired of argle, plaid and cords for boys winter clothes. And I was hoping for something without cutsie animals on it. Perhaps the Gap will have something.
I think there is another holiday line thats suppose to come out, a "dressy" one perhaps?

I think Gymbohaven said that they are the "dressy" holiday lines and there is a casual holiday line coming out toward the end of Gymbucks redemption.
The boy's lines are cute (it'll be my DS's first Xmas, so I haven't done argyle or cords before :) ), but I don't have to have any of it. And that's okay, b/c I'm still catching up with other stuff that I want.
The girl's line is really, really cute.

Delurking to ask a question to fellow gymbo addicts that have purchased on EBAY before...
There is a sweater (puddle jumper collection) that I had in a 3-6 month size when DS was little and I would love to get one in a bigger size for his 1st b-day. I did a search on ebay and there were so many options I wasn't sure which one to bid on or buy. Can you please let me know if there are any vendors that you have had a good experience with? I have read some things and am all worried about Gymboree fakes. Plus I have never done anything on ebay before so I am a little nervous about it!
Thanks for your help!

Sorry to hijak, but Marisa, could you please post the link to the WAHM's site? I love the Hanna fleece jackets, but can't justify the cost.
Oh, and FTR, since this is the Gymboree thread, I also think the holiday line for boys is BORING (though I do kinda like the penguins.)

I have used a lot of sellers, I don't think I've ever used the same one more than once, so I can't recommend anyone in particular. What I do, is always check the seller's feedback. I don't buy from anyone who has less than 99% Positive feedback. I also only buy if there is a photo of the item (and obviously if the item and background look nice), and if the listing is spelled correctly and is legible. I could be wrong, but if the listing is full of spelling mistakes and bad grammar, it seems shady to me. OR if the info is incorrect, like an item is listed under the wrong collection name, etc., that seems shady to me, too. Also, look at what the seller is charging for shipping. Some really overinflate shipping charges. I only buy NWT (new with tags)-I don't know if that could help to avoid fakes or not.
I haven't heard about Gymboree fakes-where can I read more about this and how to spot fakes?
