A girl in my office is starting a new job next monday, making this week her last week with us. We've worked together for 3 years, and she is my closest friend at the office. I'm sad to see her go. :(
I want to get her a going away gift, something in the $20-$30 price range. Any ideas??
I drew her name for secret santa this past christmas, and made her a gift basket with bath and body goodies, so that idea is already exhausted.
TIA!!!

do you know where she is moving on to? like, is she going to school, moving out of state, etc.? that may help with some ideas...
is there some kind of a food item she likes? for example, if she's really into tea, maybe a gift basket of fancy teas and a mug...

Well, it's always nice to start a new job looking your best - maybe a GC to a spa for a new hair cut/color or a GC to a local store with nice work clothes...

A nice house plant might be nice. It would be something she could keep for a long time and remind her of you when she waters it! :)

She is the Desk person at our physical therapy/chiroprcatic office. She is starting her new job at a doctor's office.
A gc is a good idea. As far as likes and dislikes, I'm not too sure, because we don't hang out all that much out of the office.
any other ideas?

You could do a gift card for a local restaurant for lunch?
Gift card for a new outfit?
A nice coffee mug, some upscale instant coffees and a mug warmer for her new desk?
Gift card for a bookstore for books she can read at lunch?
A radio for her new desk?
A nice tote bag for carrying stuff back and forth to the office?
