Does this size exist? If so, who makes it or where to I find it? DD still fits just fine in her 6-9 month clothing, but she is very long and about to outgrow her 6-9 month sleepers. Do we just go to 12 month sleepers (and clothing) next or does any manufacturer make 9-12 month clothes? What I have seen in that size is very few and far between.

I believe Gymboree makes 6-9 month (i'd check DD's room but she is napping). Carter's also has "9 month" sleepers, I found some at Costco and Filene's/Macy's.

The 6-12 month clothing size is tough I think, it seems so big at 6 months, at least in our case.

ETA: I have some older lines from Gymboree that are 6-9 month, but that wasn't what you were asking anyway, you are talking about 9-12 month and I think I'm on drugs. :D

Anyway, the Carter's line does have 12 month sleepers which I believe is 9-12 month since DD is in a nine month now which is 6-9 months.

Sorry about that!

Children's Place has 9 month sleepers (6-9 months), with non-skid feet. (I had a very tough time finding that for my DD who was starting to cruise a lot but who is small.) They also have 12 month sleepers so I think the 6-9 month is truly for 6-9 months (it fits DD fine).

yes, it exists, but it's harder to find. BOTH of my kids have been on the big side, and so we just roll through those "little" sizes super quick. I'm not sure about all manufacturers, but Carter's has a change between 6-9 and 9-12 months. You'll have to look in the kid section instead of the newborn section (for example, at BRU) to find any 9-12 month Carter's stuff... and it isn't the same lines as the really cute newborn stuff.

btw, I think that 9-12 month clothing is the same as 12 month. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

different lines have different names for their sizes. For example the circo target line, the newborn (0-3) is called "3 months" so you go up incrementally and the 12 month size is the 9-12 months. But gymbo, gap, etc. generally do 6-12 months. Carters 12 months size is 9-12 since it's the next one up after the 6-9 month.

I think 9-12 month is labeled "12 month" most of the time. We just shop by weight now at this stage in the game. I find that to be most reliable.

Yeah, I think that's what I've seen. I did have a lot of trouble finding 12 month stuff, though... it seems like there's tons of stuff up to the 6-9 month range, and then it's kind of no-man's land up until the toddler size ranges. Old Navy has stuff that is 6-12 month sized, which might be what you need. Target also has stuff that size, as does carter's.

Thanks for all the info. I figured next was 12 months, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something ;). So yesterday I went to Macy's to exchange some things and pick up some sleepers for DD and they did not have a single sleeper in anything above 6-9 months! No 12, or even 18 or 24 month sleepers! So strange. Ended up buying a few 12 month ones at The Children's Place.

It's a hard size to find around here too. And to find cute things, not little boy/girl things! Some sleepers I've seen are marked 1T. THey are kind of bigger, but they do fill in a bit of the gap around here. ;) Good luck!

I've had luck finding sleepers in the larger size at the Osk Kosh stores. I also have a couple of sleepers from Gymboree in the larger size as well.

maybe this is asking too much, but where can you get 12m sleepers that snap? All the ones I've seen at Gymbo zip and DS isn't very cooperative with getting the other leg out.
he's only 5 months (tomorrow), but is outgrowing 6-9 month stuff already

Little Me is carried by a lot of department stores and their sleepers are all snaps and have feet, they're my favorite brand.

Kohls carries several brands that have snaps. First Moments is one, I don't remember the other. We are a zipper house since DH HATES snaps to the point of refusing to change her in the middle of the night if she's in a snap up sleeper, especially the ones that snap up both legs. The ones up one leg are not quite so bad. She likes to eat her toes so getting both feet out is usually not a problem at this point.
