Hi ladies,
How tall are the letters that you put up with your child's name? I'm thinking of ordering some from http://www.craftcuts.com/BALTICWOOD.HTML but I have no idea how tall I should get them...10"?
Also, if you attached a ribon to it, how did you do that?
Thanks!

Lex,
I believe I ordered 10 inch letters. Here's a pic of the letters hung in R's nursery:

We didn't use ribbon (we used double stick heavy duty tape purchased at Home Depot), but I assume you can attach a ribbon with the same tape and hang?

I got 9" letters. I found that ebay had the best pricing for these. I decided to go without the ribbons. However, I was going to attach the ribbons using either hot glue or staples. HTH!
We ordered 10 inch letters as well:

From some of the auctions I've seen on eBay, I believe the ribbon is attached with a staple gun.

Thanks so much you guys! You've really helped me out.
SeattleGuamGirl-hehehe, wow, you are Seattle girl now. ;) I don't think I've ever seen pics of Roman's nursery. Did you ever post them in LJ?

I just picked up wooden letters at JoAnn's and spray painted them. I *think* they are around 8" tall, all caps. I stapled the ribbons to the back.

Lex, yup, I am a Seattle girl now. :)
I never posted pics of R's nursery in my LJ...he came before we could finish it (seriously, the letters weren't up until he was over a month old) so I never took pics until a couple of months ago!
These are 9 inch.

And, in a small room, I think they look PLENTY big.
