Beach vacation with a 6-month old...suggestions?

(I posted this in "parenting" too- hoping for lots of suggestions!) Whoppee! My husband and I were just given a bunch of air-miles as a gift and want to take a vacation with the baby at the end of March. Not sure where to go - we want somewhere beachy/tropical and that's not too long a flight from NYC. Jamaica? Aruba? Puerto Rico? Curacao? (We've done Cancun and St.Thomas/St.John and would like to try somewhere new.)

Anyone have any suggestions of which island and where to stay?
