I know exactly what episode she is talking about. They did a skit at the beginning where one of the characters was her in the future and LL thought it was suppose to be her from 50+ years from now and it was her in 6 months.

I'm glad that Tina Fey sat her down and talked to her. That takes a lot of guts, and bravo to LL for admitting it!

I was just saying to DH this morning that I thought she looked better - they were doing a bit about her latest hospitalization. I thought the clip they did of her was more recent than those horrible pictures of when she went blond and was a complete skeleton.
I am glad she is getting the help she needs. I would hate to live in the pressures of Hollywood. She looked so good before she was loosing weight because she looked like a normal teenager.

I was thinking the same thing. I remember that Nicole and Lindsey Lohan were close friends at one time. They always seemed to be together in the mags. Haven't seen them pictured together much lately. Hopefully, Nicole will see that it's ok to seek help.

From what I remember learning about bulemia, you really don't get overly skinny from it. That was part of the problem, that it was so hard to spot because a bulemic wouldn't get obviously thin like an anorexic. I guess the drugs did it for her? :confused:

I lost 25 pounds in a matter of months due to bulemia and I was not on any drugs so yes, you can visibly get thin.

I wonder if Nicole is bulimic as well. They were attached at the hip and got very skinny...very quickly...both at the same time.

AMEN! That's exactly what I was thinking. I mean, I hope she's over it and it's a big step to admit that she has a problem but considering that it was on every single entertainment channel last night (E!, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight), it definitely seems like a good way to get some additional PR. Sad but probably true. Just my $.02 though. :)

It also doesn't hurt to drum up additional interest in the Vanity Fair article either.

A friend of Lindsay Lohan returns to Mount Sinai Medical Center with some shopping including a Pregnancy Test. The woman left the hospital in the early hours of Wednesday with Lindsay Lohan's limo driver. She returned to the Emergency Department at 1:30 am with several overnight bags and food shopping including a Pregnancy test, Playing cards, mouthwash, Coke, and a box of Cocoa Puffs. The friend declined to comment on Lindsay's condition.



Although I can't quite figure out why you would need to buy a pregnancy test when you're in the hospital to begin with - surrounded by all the pregnancy tests the doctors would need, I think! Oh well - just wanted to post it here.

And for the record - I too was bulimic and agree with mb1197 - I'd hate to think this was done for attention.

In a statement obtained by TEEN PEOPLE, Lindsay Lohan is denying claims made in February's Vanity Fair cover story that she had an eating disorder last spring. "The words that I gave to the writer for Vanity Fair were misused and misconstrued, and I'm appalled with the way it was done," Lohan, 19, wrote in an e-mail dated January 9.

The article, in which the actress-singer also reportedly admitted to experimenting with drugs, states: "'I was making myself sick,' she says, referring to bulimic episodes." Lohan later goes on to say, "I knew I had a problem and I couldn't admit it."

"Aside from [the writer's] lies and changing of my words," Lohan said in the statement, "I am blessed to have this job and wonderful family that I do." Her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, tells TEEN PEOPLE that Lohan does not have bulimia now, nor did she ever.

A rep for Vanity Fair tells TEEN PEOPLE, "Evgenia Peretz is one of our most reliable reporters. Every word Lindsay Lohan told her is on tape. Vanity Fair stands by the story." Updated Tuesday Jan 10, 2006 4:15pm EST

I got my copy yesterday - I didn't read it very carefully, but I get the sense that the interviewer was very sympathetic and kind towards LL - but I thought LL sounded like a twit - but then again she is only 18 - I am sure I sounded like a twit then too. What I find more suprising was that until I got my mag, there was no mention of her nipple shot, I thought that might have made news, maybe all this is to detract from that.

My words exactly. I never really got THAT annoyed with LH before, but that is a sucky show of character to throw the journalist under the bus because she changed her mind about what she chose to disclose.

I liked LL "before" . My daughter has watched Friday Friday more times than I can mention and I thought she was a great actress and girl, but I wont let her watch anything she does now and if I see her on the t.v. I turn.

Im not at all surprised by the current news about her. She just has too much going on for a 18 year old. She needs to STHU indeed.
