Anybody a fan of this show, The Office?

http://www.nbc.com/photos/Primetime/The_Office/1OFFarN04.jpg

I saw previews for it last season but never watched it, however last night DH & I watched an episode & thought it was kind of funny. That boss guy is HORRIBLE, OMG! But I think the receptionist girl is my favorite character. :)

I'm not sure what night & time this show is going to be on this fall, but if it doesn't conflict with any of my other shows (which is asking a lot, since I watch a fair amount of TV) I might tune in again.

DH and I LOVED it last year! He's going to get the DVDs of it! My favorite thing was the one guy putting the other guy's things (stapler) in Jello! ;)

Hee hee...yeah, we saw that jello episode last night. They did a The Office Marathon on NBC & showed several episodes back-to-back. I liked the part where the boss tried to *punk* the receptionist by telling her she was being fired for stealing post-its, & that since it was theft they weren't required to give her a severence package. She was totally crying while he's sitting there trying not to bust up laughing, & then she was so pissed when she realized he was just kidding.

If you like the NBC Office you HAVE to rent the BBC version - it is beyond hysterical. Give it at least until Season 1 - Episode 4, and it might help to turn on the subtitles.

They didn't show my favorite NBC office episode last night - "The Alliance"

I am in love with this show! Every Tuesday night I am glued to the TV to watch Steve Carell and his hilarious lines. My FH and I live 4 hours apart so we watch it at different times...sometimes I take notes because I want to remember everything so we can talk about it and laugh all over again! (OK, I AM a dork...!)

Some stuff I found from nbc.com
From Reveille and NBC Universal Television Studio comes a documentary-style look into the humorous and sometimes poignant foolishness that plagues the world of 9-to-5 in the half-hour comedy “The Office,” based on the award-winning BBC hit.

A fly-on-the-wall “docu-reality” parody about modern American office life, “The Office” delves into the lives of the workers at Dunder Mifflin paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell, “The Daily Show,” “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” “Bruce Almighty”) is a single, middle-aged man who is the boastful tour guide for the documentary.

With unshaken enthusiasm, Michael believes he is the office funnyman, a fountain of business wisdom and his employees’ cool friend. He has no clue that his employees tolerate his inappropriate behavior only because he signs their paychecks. Painstakingly trying to be liked and look cool, Michael comes off alternately absurd and pathetic. His prize possession is his “World’s Greatest Boss” mug -- which he had to buy for himself.

Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer, “Miss Match”) is the reasonable and friendly office receptionist who bears the brunt of Michael’s routines. The bright spots in Pam’s day are her conversations with Jim Halpert (John Krasinski, “Kinsey”), a likable sales rep with a good sense of humor who should have found a better job years ago, but is too comfortable with his office mates and routine to leave.

Jim shares his working space with Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson, “Six Feet Under”), the arrogant assistant to the regional manager. Dwight is intensely irritating to normal people while Jim spends a lot of time finding new, interesting ways to drive Dwight crazy.

Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak, “Punk’d”) is a young, smart, self-possessed temp, who quickly figures out the real office politics despite Michael’s attempts to instill the official point-of-view.

“The Office” is executive-produced by Ben Silverman, Greg Daniels, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Howard Klein.

We love the show. Right now, we're watching Steve Carell on SNL. I've been on the edge of my seat until the season actually started because there were talks that they weren't going to pick up the show for another season. We're so glad they did. Between My Name is Earl, then The Office, Tuesday night TV is now great!

I love this show also. I wasn't sure if they would be able to pull off an American version, but so far I have been pleased. My DH and I were laughing out loud at last week's episode.

I want Jim and Pam to get together, too!

If you haven't seen the British version yet you should definitely try to get ahold of them. I rented the entire show from Netflix and my DH and I watched them all together. We both agreed it was the best comedy series ever! I watched one episode of the American version last season and thought it was ok, but I'm going check it out again this season again.

I kinda gave up on it last season but watched it again a couple weeks ago and I have to admit it was alot better. I think all the actors are getting much more comfortable with their characters...it seemed quite forced at the beginning. I still like the BBC version better...Can anyone really compare with Gareth? :p

The British version is just SO much funnier. I tune into the American one every now and then, just because I love Steve Carrell, but it's just not nearly as witty as the original. Still, not bad for a remake I guess. It's no "Coupling" at least!

I love this show, although I think you just have to accept that it's a completely different show from the British version if you're really going to enjoy it.

BTW, I thought Dunder Mifflin was in (fictional) Scranton, CT, not (real) Scranton, PA?

This show doesn't disappoint! I was laughing so hard last night. I love all the subtleties. When they were out in the parking lot looking at the temps car, and Dwight is pushing it up and down and says 'good shocks', or when he takes the water cooler bottle and throws it in the hallway.

I really like how they have been doing the storyline between Jim and Pam - nothing too forced.

I was curious if there is anyone else here who adores "The Office." For the record, I'm referring to the American version.

At the beginning of the first season, I wasn't all that impressed. Then, this season, I've become an addict. I love, love, love this show. I picked up the Season 1 DVD and when watching the first episodes again, I really enjoyed them. I have a feeling that the show didn't really change. I just got to know and like the characters better.

In case there are other fans at CC, I wanted to start a thread before it moves to Thursdays in January.

Oh, and if you are impatiently waiting for the new episodes to start airing in January, here is Dwight's blog (http://blogs.nbc.com/office/) to help you through the weeks of reruns.

I've only seen one episode of the American version, but I've watched both seasons of the UK version - we were in stitches, we thought it was so funny! I do wish they had decided to do another season of the British version - the one episode I watched of the American version was a remake of one of the UK episodes. I imagine they're not all remakes - but I do wonder how many are...

Yankee swap was hilarious!

I agree that Yankee Swap was hilarious. Poor Phyllis. Michael just makes me shudder at times because it's clear exactly what he is going to pull.

I managed to restrain myself from mentioning this in the first post, but I am completely and totally in love with Jim. I've pledged my undying love to him until January 5th (hey, people are unpredictable - he could make me change my mind). He torments Dwight, he bought that incredibly thoughtful gift for Pam, and he sang with Michael despite the fact that he crashed the party. Yes, I love Jim. I'm glad that he snuck the card out of her gift though. I don't think it is the right time for him to tell her, for some reason.

When I was watching the first season DVD, I saw "The Alliance" episode. Oh my. That was priceless! I hadn't seen that when it originally aired. The genius of Jim and Pam is that they allow Dwight to make his own drama and they just egg him on and enjoy it.

I think my favorite part of this season so far was when Pam and Jim kept confirming Dwight's belief that it was Friday. "Hey, did you see The Apprentice last night?" Ha!

tbell
12-20-2005, 08:15 AM
Soon after that episode aired (where Dwight thinks it's Friday) the same thing happened to me! I went all day Thursday thinking it was Friday. When I finally realized that the day was, in fact, Thursday, I couldn't believe I was Dwight! :D My coworkers, fortunately, did not try to fool me all day.

I agree. My DH thinks the show is okay, but really doesn't care much one way or the other. I, on the other hand, think it is comic genius. :D Fortunately, I have a friend/coworker who also loves the show and so we chat about it each week. The week they were reading Michael's screenplay, I changed my coworker's name on his desk to be "Dwigt." Good times!

I convinced my best friend to start watching it and she now loves it as well. There's a bit of pressure to perform in the Thursday night spot and I'm just hoping that it will appeal to enough people to do okay there.

I hope they resolve the Jim/Pam thing at some point. I'm kind of getting tired of feeling sorry for Jim every week!

DH and I were laughing because some of the analogies Michael was using on the boat was just like these "team building" exercises we had to do at our old job (when we worked together.) This show really has the corporate b-s down!

MaineBelle
01-06-2006, 12:36 PM
I love the office, it is by far the best sit-coms on TV right now. I love all the subtleties. Sometimes, just one of Jim's looks into the camera can have me cracking up. The last line last line had me laughing, "It's a fake wheel, dummy" - who above the age of 8 uses the word 'dummy'?

And how about that scene with Jim and Pam on the deck, so intense with no dialogue. I like reading about it on the Television Without Pity forums...http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3115787&pid=4273705&st=3375&#entry4273705

I learned that there are a lot of deleted scenes from last night's episode on 'the office' website.

Hopefully Michael will keep it too himself.

Hmm. That isn't what I anticipate happening. I suspect what will happen is that Michael will be trying to "subtlely" put the two together. Then, one day, Michael will make a giant ass of himself by saying something inappropriate and deflect the attention off of himself by saying that Jim has a thing for Pam. Later, he will try to justify it by saying that it was to help Jim.

Also, when they got to the hospital and Michael was filling out the forms with the reason HE was at that hospital and then trying to get his foot in the MRI machine. Jim squirting Michael in the van was priceless. I also enjoyed Michael asking the doctor if a foot injury was more serious than a head injury.

I also got a huge kick out of Ryan putting crushed aspirin in Michael's pudding and comparing it to how he gives his dog heartworm medicine. :)

I have a strong preference not to see any character throw up during television shows or movies and that was my only complaint about last night's episode.

"Could someone help me? And bring a wet towel to clean me off?" Ha!

"Uhh. Ryan's dead."

The writing and acting on this show are hysterical. I'm amazed that my DH doesn't love this show the way I do.

I am a new convert to this show. I am just loving it! The office olympics episode was hilarous as was the episode where Michael burns his foot on the foreman grill! :D When Michael was talking about 'disabilities' it was cracking me up.

Last night, I just loved when Dwight caught Oscar? (was that his name) out shopping. What he really should have 'discovered' is that Oscar is gay and has a partner, but what Dwight ~thinks~ he found out is that Oscar skipped work to go shopping and skating. So funny that Dwight was all like 'I caught him,' but he was oblivious to the real 'news' of the event. hee!!

LOVE it! Now, I never watched the British version, but how much better could it possibly be? Steve Carrel is fantastic--DH and I laugh out loud throughout the show!
I think you would like it because it's got a different vibe. Michael is more over the top, while David Brent is more quietly, sadly pathetic. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of the British version, so I'm always selling it here, but I really do love both of them. :)

Now, I never watched the British version, but how much better could it possibly be?

The British version is a little more subtle & edgy while the American version is more overt & over-the-top.

I do think the British version is better, but I have to say that this season the American version has really come into its own. It is freaking FUNNY now! The first season had some problems, but it seems like the cast has really jelled and the writing is fantastic.

The one thing I think will never be better in the U.S. version is the Pam/Jim relationship (Dawn/Tim in the British version). I think it just worked better in the other environment. But Pam & Jim are still interesting.

If you haven't seen the British version I highly recommend putting it on your Netflix list and making a weekend out of it. Just make sure you watch the reunion special at the same time. It made me cry!

The British one is pretty racy compared to the American one. In one episode, it's Tim's birthday, and Dawn's fiance gives him a giant inflatable penis. They throw the work c**k around like it's no big deal.

I personally LOVE the Jim/Pam dynamic, and I cried when Pam left him all those messages. And poor Jim, getting stuck I the middle of the Kelly/Ryan thing. But, that should be interesting...

My favorite messgae Pam left was "what was that word we made up for when somethings stuck in your shoe? Well, anyway, I have something stuck in my shoe"... She could never talk to Roy about stuff like that, and I highly doubt she and Roy ever make words up together.....

Tonights episode was soooooooooooo good. I get so frustrated with Pam, though. Roy is so obviously not for her, and it drives me crazy that she stays with him. I hope tonight was a turning point for her, but it probably wasn't. sigh

Oh dear Lord, Micheal on the forklift was tooooooooooo much! So funny. And I totally see the forshadowing of a strike going on in the warehouse.

last night's episode was just so incredibly funny... i have not laughed out loud like that in a lonnng time. i literally fell off the couch and onto the floor when michael ripped open the bag of packing peanuts in front of the fan to make it "snow." and the cameras pan over to the warehouse workers and they just have this priceless look on their faces... oh man.

i too get frustrated with pam. at some point the writers will have to confront the topic of her wedding (they keep saying they set a date for the summer) so it'll be interesting to see what they do with that... i personally doubt the wedding will actually happen (how else could the tension between pam and jim continue?). maybe roy will cheat on pam and jim will witness it or something... hm...

i read an interview with some of the actors and they said that "most" of the reactions are scripted. but they do a lot of improv during rehearsals so that probably helps find the right places for the "reaction" shots. the funniest moments are when they give a little look or wink at the camera. i love this show!

Dwight's blog (http://blogs.nbc.com/office/)

Here is this week's entry:

March 01, 10:54 am
GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!!!

Dwight Schrute, assistant regional manager, Dunder Mifflin Paper
Products with another installment of Schrutespace.

This blog is going to rock you like a hurricane.

For the past eight years, my cousin Mose and I have been
collaborating on a breakthrough book on sales and selling. I draw on
my experience as a salesman and Mose draws on the fact that he has a
lot of spare time on his hands these days as the beets have all been
harvested.

Our magnum opus is entitled:

SELL THIS!: How to Literally Kill the Competition by Dwight and Mose
Schrute.

Here is a small sample.

CHAPTER 1

THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG

Question: Why do retailers say ‘the customer is always right’?

Answer: I have no idea.

The customer doesn’t know sh**. Seriously. If it were up to them,
they wouldn’t buy anything from you. They would just go along with
the products and services that they have and not buy more paper from
you (or whatever else you might be selling to them, such as office
supplies.)

How do we change the customer?

Simple. Convince them that they need to buy what you are selling.

How?

Easy. Like a tiger which hypnotizes it’s prey, you must overwhelm
them with the force of your

1) aura
2) eyes
3) intensity
4) reason
5) good prices

Seduce them with your power and get to know them like a small lover.
Intimacy sells! Ravish them. Use force if necessary. Kiss them
with your products. And, finally, make sure you call them the next day.

That is just a taste of Schrute. Just a glimpse of the sales
opportunities that await you and your cousin.

That is all.

Dwight K. Schrute

PS I have formed an internet page in order to gain more sales and
give more sales tips. It is called www.myspace.com/dwightkschrute

I loved Dwight's Mussolini speech on last night's episode. I was cracking up at him banging his fists on the podium. Hilarious.

I hope Jim *does* go to Australia... but somehow I doubt it.

The whole Pam/ Jim thing is much more complicated now that Pam has an actual wedding date. On the British series Dawn was always engaged but a date was never really set. I'm not sure the tension between Dawn/Tim would have been so cute if she was actually married. Can they really let Pam get married on the US show?? I think that would kill the flirtation!

I don't think Pam will actually get married... I think they are setting us up for Jim to drop a bombshell on Pam before he leaves for Australia. ;) Who knows what will happen, though?

OMG, Dwight was so hilarious in this episode!! This was a really funny one.

The Pam/ Jim thing is really intense and obvious. I wonder why they're choosing to be so overt about this rather than making it more subtle (like it was in the British version). I'm not sure how well that can pay off. However, I did think it was a nice touch at the end when Jim said "What is he getting out of this?"-- obviously refering to himself. :(

Michael smoked what he *hoped* were clove cigarettes at the Alicia Keyes concert. The possibility that they weren't was why he had to use Dwight's urine.

It seems so close to coming to a head already--too soon. And about Jim's comment about Dwight really referring to himself. Can you believe I had to explain that to my husband? I honestly don't know how the man watches TV without me.

Last night's ep was hilarious and I think one of the best ones I've seen. Some moments I loved:

~ Ryan telling Dwight "Okay, let's do it that way" when talking about his car search
~ Jim pretending to try and tell his "drug story" :D
~ Tobey telling Michael what a Hookah was
~ The drug list...just had me cracking up that Michael had cocaine down three times (cocaine, blow, crack)
~Dwight asking Oscar if he'd ever "pooped a balloon" LOL

Fantastic episode last night. I loved the use of the entire cast. And I can't believe how awesome Toby is. I read in an interview with BJ Novack (Ryan) that Toby is one of the writers. There are other writers who appear on the show, including BJ, but the guy who plays Toby has zero acting experience.

I also loved the nickel phone and that if Jim and Dwight took a joint ID photo, "we can just meet in the parking lot every morning and walk in together."

It was one of the best episodes. I usually chuckle, but I was laughing so hard at one point, I woke my son up.

The girl who plays Kelly is one of the writers too. And she was also in The 40 Year Old Virgin, with Steve Carell.

I was obsessed with the British series, but I think they're plotting the Jim/Pam storyline much differently than they did the Tim/Dawn storyline. I assume that the American version is going to run much longer than the two seasons the British series ran, so they can really extend the Jim/Pam relationship in that time.

AWESOME chemistry between Pam and Jim. This is one of the few television "romances" that I really buy and really get excited about. They have such sparks.

Poor Jan. I have no idea WTF she's interested in Michael... but it's kind of sweet.

I totally forgot about his philanderer comment! Classic. I also cracked up when Michael was trying to switch charities to an AIDS charity, and it got totally convoluted into a canine AIDS charity. Not quite sure how that happened. Also, when Michael said he was hoping for a world where we could joke about AIDS....priceless!

Not that AIDS is funny by any means, but the way Michael was trying to back-peddle was great :)

Oh, and how cute did Phyllis look for the party? I love her. Pam looked pretty too. Their usual office gear is so realistically drab, it's fun to see them dressed up.

I was almost wanting Jim and Jan to go home together, since I felt bad for both of them and it looked like that was going to happen. Of course, that was only because I never thought they'd have the gigantic Jim/Pam stuff.

I know what you mean~~ they can't really have Jim and Pam get together at this point. It eliminates romantic tension and it's way too early in the series to do that. I'd bet on this being drawn out a looooong time.

You are not alone. However I think last night was just a taste of what we all eventually want but I don't think they are going to get together next season. I remember reading an interview on the show (can't remember with who) but they said they know that Jim and Pam can't get together too soon or it will ruin one of the best parts of the show. One of the best lines? When Jim and Michael are taking Dwight to the emergency room, and Dwight asks where they're going.

Stanley says " Michael, I'm not disabled and neither are you!"

Michael (holding up his bubble-wrapped foot to Stanley) "What does this look like to you?"

THE BRITISH ARE COMING

July 10, 2006 -- A little bit of England will be visiting "The Office" next season.

Ben Silverman, the executive producer of the hit NBC comedy, says that there will be something of a cross-over episode of "The Office," with some of the cast from the U.K. edition making an appearance at the dreary factory in Scranton, Pa., where the U.S. version takes place.

"There's a lot of love between [the casts and crews] of the two versions of the show," Silverman told The Post, declining to reveal plot details of the upcoming episode so as not to spoil it for fans.

"Expect some cameos from the U.K. paper company," says Silverman.

It was not immediately clear if the British cast members will be reprising their roles from the original U.K. version of "The Office" or simply popping up in other roles.

The original show was a mockumentary set at a British paper manufacturing company and ran for two seasons - just 12 episodes (plus a bonus Christmas special). But along the way, it snapped up nearly every major British TV award and a Golden Globe for best comedy series.

NBC's version of "The Office" follows a similar format and nailed five Emmy nods last week: best comedy, best actor in a comedy (Steve Carell), best writing in a comedy and two technical nominations for editing.

Ricky Gervais, who created, wrote and starred in the original and serves as an executive producer on the NBC show, is writing a separate episode of the U.S. version. He is also considering a guest appearance on the show, but that's not likely to happen for some time, Silverman says.

"We're going to save the big man for now," he says.

After a rocky start last year, "The Office" turned out to be one of the few bright spots on NBC's primetime schedule. And while it has yet to generate the kind of boffo ratings generally associated with a hit comedy, the show does extremely well with those young viewers prized by advertisers.

I loved that imitation the woman at the other branch did of Jim's interaction with the camera. I was amused that they were going through (a much less entertaining) diversity day at the other branch because of Michael.

Other highlights:
"While I can't guarantee that the paper is *less* flammable than other paper, I can guarantee that it isn't *more* flammable."

The previously mentioned gaydar at the Sharper Image.

"I wonder if his roommate knows..."

I'm entering fangirl territory with The Office lately. We got S2 DVDs and have been watching them in anticipation of last night. DH and I actually watched "Casino Night" w/commentary right before the premier, so it'd all be fresh.

The Michael-kissing-Oscar scene was hilarious. Michael's ineptitude is cringe-worthy, but oh-so-funny just the same. I also love how they're developing Roy's character more - showing how he wants to win Pam back. Their relationship wasn't very developed, so it's nice to see that there really was something there. I'm interested as to how it's going to all play out.

And, because I'm a dork, I'm going to out myself, here and now, with my ridiculous crush on John Krasinski/Jim. He looks a LOT like my husband, so I think that's part of it. I think everyone who watches The Office and posts in my LiveJournal crushes on Jim! I know I do....

LOVED the episode. Confirmed for me that I do think The Office is the best-written TV show on TV today. Not to mention the casting...

I got a telemarketing call right before the kiss scene, so I missed it. Bah.

I think they did SUCH a good job of handling the Jim/Pam thing. They didn't take either of the obvious routes. Very clever.

Of course, they had to make the arse in the Stamford office be a Cornell grad. Gives us a bad name! (kidding)

This was a very heavy episode, but I still liked it a lot. I think they had to handle it that way in order to give the characters their due in dealing with all the different story lines.

Oh my goodness, we were laughing so freaking hard. it was so uncomfortable, and cringe-y; but so, so good. I loved Jim's face after the Cornell guy kicked the garbage can in Jello induced fury. I absolutely love this show.

I was going to post the same thing! Jim was all smiling and everything when the guy was initially upset but after he kicked the trash can...Jim's freaked out expression and slight shaking of his head was so funny! OMG...I think that was almost the funniest moment last night for me.

Funniest for me was Ryan talking about his losing the temp status--the "that'll show 'em" just cracked me up!

Another "Office" obsessed fan here! I bought Season 2 DVDs last weekend and we watched them all weekend in anticipation for the premiere! I have to say, I hope they bring Jim back to Scranton, because one of the things I loved the MOST about the show was the interaction between Dwight/Jim/Pam. I am happy that Pam called off the wedding though.

I also think that Ryan is so underrated. Sometimes he just makes these one line comments that are just hilarious!!

Great, great, great episode! Rarely can season premieres live up to their 'hype' or expectations, but this one surely did!

I also loved the "Kids, sometimes it pays to be gay," comment by Oscar. Hilarious. The branch Jim works for is sooo dull. I like that they show it however because it makes the antics in Scranton look even crazier! It's like the juxtaposition of 'normality' and 'nuttiness' heh heh

Jim's facial expressions are priceless. Speaking of talking or looking at the camera...I loved the part where Dwight was saying 'boo hoo hoo, I miss Jim, boo hoo hoo' and then just went WRONG - I do not miss him! LOL

What about the line where Michael says "I think you are misunderstanding me. I'm trying to say Gay equals Good." hee hee Poor Michael, so misguided, but tries so hard.

My favorite show on television! I watched the kiss with my hands over my eyes, though!

- loved Dwight's creepy smile when Michael asked if he could picture Angela with another woman
- loved Creed's talking head when he says "a man may have slipped in"
- didn't like Stamford branch, esp when the girl said that Jim was always making these faces to the camera

Maybe something similar to the BBC Office will take place where the Stamford Office merged with the Scranton office and that will bring Jim back

YAAY! I was so glad Pam called off the wedding. Now Jim needs to come back...

I laughed so hard when Dwight swiped the "gaydar" over himself and it beeped. His look was priceless.

I am so glad I found this thread. This show has to be one of my fav's on t.v. I went out to dinner with a few of my friends on Thursday night but had my DVR set to record The Office. I came home around midnight and lo and behold .... my mom cancelled my recording (she was babysitting). I was so pissed. I actually had to buy the episode from Comcast.

I loved this episode. It has to be one of the best I've ever seen. Jim is so stinkin cute. He has to come back to Scranton to be with Pam!!!

I LOVE The Office. Total fanantic here.

Loved this episode, the only thing that bugs me is we have to wait a week between shows!

I read in Pam's MySpace (told you I was a dork about The Office) that Michael and Oscar's kiss was completely improvised - from her blog:

"And, you all thought the best kiss on TV was from Casino Night. Not anymore! The kiss between Michael and Oscar was improvised. Steve just went into that bit on the fly. It was brilliant! Those looks of shock/giddiness/confusion on our faces are REAL. We were all on the edge of our seats wondering what would happen next. I can't believe we held it together for as long as we did. I'm not sure we've ever laughed so hard on set."

And FYI, Jim/John is my boyfriend, so hands off! :D

I just LOVE this show, and am so happy for the new season! :D I was glad to see that Pam didn't marry Roy, but I hate having Jim at another branch. Hopefully he'll come back soon.

Two of my favorite parts were when the girl made Jim's face in the camera and then said "What is that?!" And of course the gaydar - "Oh, what? Okay thanks. Jim said Sharper Image is sold out." LOL!
Didn't Jim book a trip to Australia to coincide with the wedding? Was there any mention of that? If there was, I missed it.
Yes he did, and no they didn't mention it at all.

I have a Jim crush too! :D

I thought I heard on the radio saying that Jim was going to be back this week....but it was as I was working so I could've heard wrong.

Tonight's episode is called "The Convention." The synopsis from TV.com (http://www.tv.com/the-office/the-convention/episode/870687/summary.html):

Michael and Dwight head off to Philadelphia to meet Jan for the Northeastern Mid-Market Office Supply Convention. Michael, with the help of Dwight, sets up a party for fellow conventioneers while Ryan goes on a double date with Kelly back in Scranton.

Maybe Jim will catch up with Michael and Dwight at the convention. :)

Is it wrong that I'm excited about seeing Casual Jim? Because, if it's wrong, I don't want to be right...

Good episode tonight. And it looks like the two branches will end up merging, which will be good. I want Jim and Pam back together.

One of my favorite moments: "Dwight hired a hooker!" Awesome.

I loved this episode. I actually started feeling bad for Michael when no one showed up to his party.

I *heart* Jim.
