I was bawling when Belle found out about the baby. Sooo sad. :(
Hope really annoyed me when she blamed Bo for making her beleive Patrick was guilty. Give me a break. Bo didn't know the evidence was planted. I still think he's involved.

Here are some spoilers...They are on the same topics as I posted before just a bit more detailed...

John heads to New Jersey and rescues a captive Marlena this week. The two return home to Salem and enjoy some long awaited romance!

Shawn leaves Mimi and ends up moving onto the FancyFace. Meanwhile Mimi and Phillip discuss dissolving their legal arrangement for the baby the surrogate is carrying. If they do, what becomes of their child?

Phillip learns that his mom knew the truth about Claire all along and confronts her. Phillip and Shawn are shocked to learn that Victor also knew the truth. Shawn's anger and rage grows and he sets out to make Victor pay for what he's done.

Belle deals with the loss of her and Shawn's baby and her parents are there to support her. Phillip tries to talk to Belle about their marriage, which is in a state of disarray. Phillip ends up leaving his family and Salem this week.

EJ and Sami plan to go on a a date this week, which Lucas and Will make sure to ruin. Later in the week Lucas finally admits that he still has some major feelings for Sami! Will Sami admit the same about him?

Bo wants a future with Hope, but Patrick wants a future with Hope too and asks Hope to leave Salem with him. It appears that Bo and Hope don't know that Patrick paid off Dr. Bader to lie to Hope, Bo is the father of her baby!

yes, he does really want to get back together w/ Lexie. Tek told Lexie last week (or maybe it was the week before, can't remember) what Abe was originally up to (get close to her to see if she had anything to do w/ Eve's murder). she confronted him, they had it out and then eventually he admitted he really did still care for her and wanted to work things out. Lexie finally believed him, they had sex and Abe said there was one stipulation...that Lexie never see/talk to Tek again.

Ok, they really have to get away from this "I want my mommy and daddy together" storyline. Seriously, grow up Chelsea, Stephanie, Sami, Will...everyone they pull this crap with.

Is it really that important to an adult that their parents are together? It is so annoying! I mean, get a life!

Yeah, it's pretty funny how they all play "the family" card and "marriage is sacred" play, but they all seem to ignore it when it comes to themselves.

I totally agree. What are the writers thinking with this one? Plus, she is so DUMB... maybe if she had something intelligent to offer other than her disgusting come-ons it might be a more interesting story line.

I just recently got back into watching Days. I am so glad that the writing has picked up, but there are still a few things I wish they would address:

1) Why don't any nice, unmarried men come to town? Why are they all evil? And why can't any of them be doctors? Salem is going to be hurting now that it looks like their one practicing doctor is about to be disbarred.

2) Why can't Billie meet a nice, unmarried men? Why does she always have to go after the marrieds?

3) Will Chelsea ever display any redeeming qualities? Or is she just going to be added to the long line of Salem bitcas?

4) Who in the world ever though Marlena was a good physchiatrist? Telling Sami that the other kids turned out okay, even though they were sent to boarding schools too (and had to watch their mother be kidnapped repeatedly, be possessed by a demon, marry & divorce the same two men over & over, and be presumed dead numerous times). It didn't scar them did it? And why can't she be more like her *step*-sister Carrie, who Marlena obviously likes better. Yeah, good mothering there Marlena. And way to go with the compassion too.

Sami chooses her family over EJ.

Updated spoilers...
Shawn and Belle have a tense confrontation over whether Shawn should be allowed to see Claire, which ends with Shawn threatening to sue for custody. Later Belle is furious when she finds Shawn staying with Willow and gives him an ultimatum if he intends to be a part of Claire's life.

Shawn ends up getting a job working for EJ and Patrick, not realizing they are up to no good. Later, Mimi ends up spotting Shawn while he's on the job.

Lexie begins to gain back some good favor with the Bradys when she discovers an experimental drug that could help save Steve and Kayla's lives. Steve responds well to the drug and recovers, but Kayla doesn't and remains critical. Steve promises to do whatever it takes to save Kayla.

John and Bo continue to investigate EJ and Patrick this week, and EJ catches onto that fact. John spies on EJ, only to catch Kate and EJ having a little fling. Sami realizes Kate and EJ are at it as well this week. Sami shows Lucas proof that his mother is sleeping with EJ!

I think you're absolutely right! & he did mention when talking to Patrick that there are more people involved then just the 2 of them. Hopefully her character will be axed soon - I hate all of her scenes and how she talks like she's got marshmallows in her mouth (slow and sounding really dumb all of the time)... can't stand her.

I will say that I like evil EJ very much! I think we're in for a fun ride with him :D And I can't wait to see more of Sami and Lucas as *friends* - I love those 2!

Steve pretends to remember in order to try and save Kayla's life.

Kayla wakes up and tells Steve that she heard him say he loves her.

Benjy Hawk Dimera returns to town this week and he's all grown up.

Benjy shares a reunion with Steve.

Sami, Will and Lucas spend time together as a family.

Sami attempts to make amends with Lexie.

Hope plans to have more tests on the baby.

Patrick tries to get Hope out of Salem.

Chelsea sees Bo and Billie together in bed and misunderstands what is going on.

With the additions of Burgstede, Blake Berris (Nick) and Jim Lunsford (Benjy) on contract this week, "Days" now has 32 actors on contract. All three actors' contracts run through November 2009. Burgstede was born on September 18, 1983 and hails from Waupaca, Wisconsin. She began acting just last year and has already made appearances on "Cold Case", "Everwood", "All of Us", "Charmed", "Smallville" and "CSI."

I was thinking the same thing, but from Willow's crappy acting, we know she's getting next to nothing, probably a little over minimum wage.

Austin was on a CBS crime show the other night. He was the killer. Can't remember what the name of it was though :/

They didn't sleep together. They started kissing and stopped b/c they knew they were just "using each other" b/c they were upset w/ the person they wanted to be with. When they stopped they just sat on the bed talking and that's when Chelsea got the pic. dumb girl.

YUCKKKKK! I can't beleive Willow got a contract. I would much rather be watching Carrie and Austin.

Nick is Alice's daughter's (Marie)daughter's (Jessica) son. In other words he's Alice's great grand son.

they didn't end up sleeping together actually. they had enough sense to stop themselves b/c Bo still loves Hope and Billie has feelings for Steve and Billie said she vowed to never come between Bo and Hope again. So she actually held herself to that.

true but i'm sure these 3 people they just hired are cheap (not known actors) compared to Carrie and Austin, KWIM?

According to a spoiler... (in white) Phillip apparently reinlisted in the service and some how got hurt & disfigured. I read it a few weeks ago, so I forget what happened.

What does Victor have up his sleeve this time?

I was so excited that Steve was getting his memory back and really thought the feelings were there as well. His talk with Hope made me sad. :(

These kids/teens need to get over the, "I want mommy & daddy back together." Grow up!

I am so upset that Belle and Shawn are not together. Back a few months ago when it was all coming out that Philip was not Claire's father, I thought that they would finally get back together. I hate that the new writer is keeping them apart!!!!

The way Shawn has been acting, though, I am not sure if I want Belle with him. I really like Belle, and the fact that Shawn has been treating her so horribly....If Shawn can go back to his old personality and likeable character, then I would be all for them getting back together. That is an interesting rumor, though!

The above spoiler makes no sense to me. In white:
Phillip has no relation to Claire. Why would the courts even consider giving him custody? Just because he raised her for a year? There is no reason why Shawn & Belle would need to get married to keep custody of their own child.

Candy, re your question: Philip is Claire's legal father. His name is on the birth certificate and she was born during his marriage to Belle. At least in my state (Mi) that makes Claire his, regardless of paternity. The Court would have to declare Claire not his before Shawn has the ability to establish paternity. And the Court does not have to declare Claire not Philips...because legally, Philip IS her father.

My new theory is that Victor is behind the whole Willow/Shawn thing. He will try to use that and Claire's "kidnapping" to prove that Shawn & Belle are unfit parents and that Claire should be raised by Phillip.

ITA! I think the story line is dumb though. Victor was the one that wanted to tell Shawn that Claire was his daughter b/c he deserved to know the truth. Now that he knows the truth, he's trying to take Claire away from him. :rolleyes: :confused:

I'm so sick of this show aging every kid and then aging NONE of the adults. I mean, how many people on this show have siblings (or half siblings or whatever) who get away with dating the same people who are supposedly their parents' friends (does that make any sense?).

Case in point: When Chelsea was all goo-gaa over Patrick, and Bo was all concerned. Um, hello? How is this storyline believable? IT'S ILLEGAL. And now EJ is a suave and nice to look at ELVIS JR who is younger than WILL (I'm pretty sure I'm right on that, aren't I?).

Apparently, Bonnie and Tek have been let go.
We already knew that Patrick was leaving and I also read that Mimi may be recast.
Connor Lockhart has been cast, but there was no arrival date.

So....EJ said 3 men will die....Any wagers on who they might be. LOL! :D I think I know who 2 of them are.

IMO, this week makes up for the many months of crap. If they stay on this course, they'll be back on top before they know it. Now if only Passions would follow suit :rolleyes:

However, when someone is shot, twice, shouldn't there be more than just one dr and one nurse working on them?? And wouldn't there be more blood?

And how can EJ be sure Sami will get pg if she sleeps with him? And if she does, what's to say she'll keep it or not say it's Lucas'?

I'm also glad that Patrick finally came clean about the baby.
