I am trying to decide on a watch right now. I am not sure if I should save up for a trendy Coach watch or buy this affordable, but pretty cool DKNY one.

Honestly, I like the "affordable, but pretty cool DKNY" watch better!

I don't have a picture of my watch but it is a double face watch that my mother got me when I was living in New Zealand (in hopes that I would keep up with American time and not call her in the middle of the night).

I tried taking a pic of my own watch but glare kept coming up. Soooo i went to the next best thing...finding it online..ha ha. Its a Jennifer Lopez watch...i was always a fossil gal but when i saw this one i just fell in love. It was my 2004 Christmas gift. Mine is the silver toned one.

sportyj~Thanks.... its funny cause when i first wore it to work...everyone who asked what time it was didn't know about my watch and they would ask me and when i pulled up my arm to check they were like.."Omg check out the Bling! Bling Ms. Noemi has!" lol I've never been into things like that but something about it just made me like it a lot. And now she has it in two toned!!! i love two toned.

I also had a very simple Fossil that I wore for many years that I loved, too. I prefer metal bracelet watches as I find the leather wears out easily if you're a frequent hand-washer.

This is mine I got for college graduation, and go figure, it's on Overstock;). My dad got it overseas in Singapore I believe. Tag Heuer, 6000 series, gold and stainless steel. I wear it every day, it's a great watch. The crystal never scratches since the dial around it is raised. I have to get it cleaned/new battery every couple years, so it's not as high-maintenance as some other high-end brands that-shall-not-be-named:D.

Actually, since Rolex is mechanical, there is no battery to change so I wouldn't call it high-maintenance :) It should be lubricated every 5 years or so (as every watch should), but that's about it. And even without a raised dial, it has a sapphire crystal face so it won't scratch.

Oh, I was just teasing. I know people that have had tons of trouble w/ their Rolexes keeping proper time, but my mom's has been fine (apart from the time she was without it for a year after the jewelry store it was being cleaned at was raided by the feds, but that's another story). She just is vigilant about cleaning it once a year due to the perpetual motion. Isn't that what's recommended?
