CD26 here for me. Not really knowing when AF should arrive. Last month it was CD35, the month before was CD28...so I guess it's just a guessing game. DH and I have BD'd like honestly, *ever other day* since CD13 SO.....*cross all your crossables* I can't image how we wouldn't have caught that egg if I did O this month?? :p
It's the waiting game for me right now. :)

Yay Jess, I knew you'd get crosshairs! Isn't it great?! :D
Thanks for your thoughts, Ericka. I haven't met with my doctor since my pre-TTC appointment but the next time I'm in I definitely plan to bring my charts to show her exactly what's going on with my body. :)
The good news from me is that I'm not spotting anymore!! I'm almost scared to post that because I'm afraid I'm jinxing it! ;) My temp went up but just a little bit this morning. I'm totally bummed if I did O yesterday because we hadn't BDed for a couple days. :( Just can't make me happy, huh? I should just be happy that I possibly O'd. Here's hoping my temp goes up tomorrow!
And I certainly won't kick anyone out for charting because I've been doing it for 5 months! It's just a little more intimate here and easier to catch up so that's why I stuck around after I moved on to charting (a whole 1 month after we started trying. LOL)

If I don't get AF by Monday the 30th (that'll be CD35), then I'll test :)

Maplekitty - Crossing my fingers for you! :)
So far so good for me remembering to temp every morning. Although my thermometer beeps 8 times when it's done and always wakes up my DH! I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of charting but it is really interesting and I'm learning a lot. I'm on CD14 so we're in the fun stage. I still have not had any temp increases though because I think I usually ovulate around CD 16 (we'll see though, because this is my first attempt at charting). I'm still trying to figure out this temping thing though b/c my temps seem to be kind of wacky.
Good luck to all of those who are testing! :)

Michelle,
My thermometer has a speaker on the bakcside of it. Just put your thumb over it and you should be ok. Mine beeps every few seconds and then beeps 3 times when it's done.

So, I think 5 of us testing at the end of this month/beginning of Feb? me, pacific bliss, Jess, maplekitty, Ericka. I hope I didn't miss anyone. That's still a lot... let's hope for 5 BFPS!!!
Welcome Yolanda!
squee, Feb 1 will be CD39 for me, I think I o'd today-ish actually, so that would be about 13DPO for me... hmmm... maybe I shoudl wait longer? I'm not too sure. My cycle lengths are always off and different each time, so I just picked an approximate date shortly after AF started. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I'm not feeling great today, and really hoping this is some m/s. I fnot, it means I'm getting just plain old yucky sick. Boo.

Ok, good. I am glad I get to stay! :) Welcome back, houseblend! We missed you!
Ericka and Michelle- I think I read somewhere that you should close your mouth like 5 min before temping. I have been stuffy lately so probably sleeping with my mouth open. Sometimes the alarm scares me and I immediately reach for the thermometer without thinking...then, after I think about it, I retemp a couple of minutes later and it's almost always a few tenths higher. I have been using those higher temps for that reason. Any thoughts?
I am glad I am going to have some "testing buddies"! I just hope I get to test! I would love it if we all got BFPs, but if some of us don't, atleast we will have a couple of others who will be right there with us. Let's not think about that option, though. Positive thinking can improve your health, surely it will improve fertility too!

They say you can sometimes have a higher temp reading if you sleep with your mouth open. I haven't found anything specific about how to take sleeping with your mouth open into account.

All the charters are fine with me too (I think we would lose a lot of our regular posters if we kicked charters out anyway). I understand not wanting to make the switch. It moves pretty quick over there.
So far I haven't had any cramps (other than minor spuratic cramps) or spotting yet so I was wondering what you ladies thought about when I should test again. I tested Monday and got a -. That was my longets cycle day but now I am on CD 42. When should I test again? I have no idea when I O'ed.:o

I have been thinking about trying next month and have decided that I will not start charting again this month, but will the following month if I don't see a BFP. Keeping track of CM, using OPK's, taking Vit. E, limiting caffiene and try to keep stress down will be the methods used this month.
Have any of you ever used Preseed?

Jess & all other charters, I say the more the merrier.
Well today is CD 25 no sign of AF again today. I usually have some pretty obvious signs the day before and there is nothing. If this keeps up I'll be testing on sat, since I have never been over a CD25 since going off BCP.

Chagtown, sorry to hear about AF. I wasn't very happy to see her this month either. It's kinda funny, not even 6 months ago i was ecstatic to AF, because it meant I WASN'T PG....LOL...funny how things change so quickly.
Well, I'm CD4 and still heavy AF. Typically by day 4 i'm very light and just need a liner. So I guesss i'm still all crazy cuz of the BCP. I can't believe that i have actually remembered to take my temp every morning. Huge acomplishment...that and sticking to jenny craig....i can't remember the last time i was so dedicated to something...lol.

I loved this thread when I started TTC, but then I decided to chart and I wasn't sure if I was going to stick with it, so I stopped posting in here until I was sure if I was going to keep up on charting or not. Well I do like charting, but I miss this thread and now that I see that some of you are charting too - I'm coming back in!
So it looks like I will be joining the test-fest with you girls in less than 2 weeks. Baby dust to everyone!!

Hi Everyone!
I am so, so happy! DH and I just decided over our lunch date that we wanted to start a family. I've been waiting for this moment for so long and am really excited to get started. :p

Me: Erica (26)
DH: Daryl (33)
Married: September 13, 2003

I don't mean to sound rude here and please don't take this the wrong way. I know a lot of you are dabbling in the temping/charting, and I think that's great - we all need to do what we need to do to progress our TTC journey. However, could we keep the temping talk to a minimum? This is the SWH group, and a lot of people choose this method because they don't want the harsh structure of temping and would like to keep baby making free and passive.
I am in by no means saying you all have to make the switch over to the other group, we've made friendships in here and we are comfortable, and I love how close and supportive our group is.
But for new members who are joining this thread because they just want to "see what happens", they may get confused with the temp talk - either because they don't know anything about it yet, or because they weren't expected that from this group thread.
The bigger temping questions should probably be made in the Charting thread or in the "TTC rookie" thread in Family Planning. Obviously, daily or weekly updates that include temp talk are fine, we all love to know what each other is doing and keeping up with each other, but I don't think this is the place for temping/charting questions.

squee - Think if you test on the 30th, you should be getting a firm BFP or BFN, since you are DPO14 by then. I say test as that's not too soon really. Let's hope you get the BFP.

Welcome Lily! And welcome back Delaney! I'll be testing around the 3rd or 4th, so make that 7 of us!
If you don't mind me asking here: How did most of you keep track of when you O in the beginning? Did you just check everyday and make a mental note? Did you write it down? I still feel kind of new to this thread so I'm trying to understand how SWH differs from charting.
Ericka_Jarett
01-21-2006, 10:13 AM
Before I got pregnant the first time, my doctor wanted me to keep track of how long my cycles were (she thought I may have PCOS) and to try OPK's for at least 1 cycle. I didn't know when I O'd at all though. I keep my info on Fertility friend, since it's easier than paper for me.
I am 9 months past the time I had my daughter so in 7 cycles I have found that I usually O on the 22nd day of the month, my doctor said it should be more then 14-15th day though, so who knows, I see many women that are in my timeline as their cycles are longer than 28 days. Mine are usually 33 days long. (That I can keep track of on my calendar, plus I have O pain usually so that is clear indicator as well as CM when you are Oing. For charting some of the women check their cervix, watch their CM, take their temp everyday and mark all their symptoms down. Me - I occassionally temp, mark my CM sometimes and that's it. I know when I usually O now so I don't really worry too much about keeping an accurate chart (I have one cause my doctor wants me to keep on to check progress)

01-21-2006, 10:20 AM
I tested again yesterday andI got a - again. I have no idea what is going on. To answer Ericka's question about stress...I am a first year teacher so although overall I don't feel that stressed I am prtty sure that may be playing a part in the fact that my cycles are getting longer.
houseblend~ I personally think that when I think of charting I think of ladies who temp every morning and mark it in a chart or something. They usually also checka combination of CM, CP, symptoms, etc. SWH means that you may try to pay attention to CM or O pain to have good timing but don't temp or anything. I think it may be a little different definition for everyone. I hope this helps.
I guess I will continue to wait. If I don't get AF by next weekend I will be testing again. I may not be on 2-1, but it will be pretty close. I hope that is a great time in this thread because we need to get a ton on BFP!:D
pacificbliss
01-21-2006, 11:33 AM
Sorry looty. I am still crossing my fingers for you. You could get that bfp yet :D

maplekitty
01-21-2006, 01:35 PM
houseblend - I have a calendar going where I keep track of my cycle days. I make notes about my CM, and basically anything different going on with my body (ie. headaches, sore bb, abdomen pains, back aches etc.) After a few months there may be a pattern, and that can help you determine when you may have O'd. Also if you have fairly regular cycles, your LP (luteal phase) doesn't *usually* last any longer than 17 days - the time between your ovulation and your period. So I count back 17 days from the first day of my last period and basically start BD'ing on that cycle day until my CM is all dried up. That way I'll know that I got the best possible chance of catching the egg.

You can add me as another one testing at the end of this month/beginning of Feb. FF says I should test on 2/2. If we concieve this month, the baby would be due right around our 12th wedding anniversary. That's so cool! But I don't have my hopes up because our BD timing wasn't very good at all. :( We had a party at our house last night and one of my friends actually said "so you're not pregnant yet? Are you still trying?" That stung but I guess that's what I get for telling people. She is a fertile mertile and got pg at the drop of a hat so she probably doesn't even realize how insensitive she was.
I hope you're not getting sick, Twylla.
So sorry about AF, chagtown. :(
Welcome back, Delaney21! :)
Welcome to the group, Lily.
Don't lose hope, Looty. With the stress, you could have just O'd later and that made your cycle longer.
Jess71903
01-21-2006, 05:02 PM
houseblend- I watched my CM the best I could, though I am not sure I ever had EWCM, but I really had no clue whether or not I was Oing. I started charting just this month just to be sure I was Oing, and if I don't get pg soon, I want to be able to give my Dr. something. This is 180 degrees from where I started, though. That's why I joined this thread- because I didn't want TTC to be so clinical. I didn't realize how hard it would be for me to be patient. I just assumed I would be pg pretty quick.
Sorry for all the confusion, looty! I hope you get an answer soon, and I hope you just Od late and are pg.

Well Girls the third time was a charm. :D
I didn't have any HPT this am, so I went out and bought a few this afternoon (I'm on CD 27, normal cycles are 24 days). BTW target sells them for pretty cheap. Anyway I came home in the middle of the day (not using FMU) and in a bout 20 seconds it came up wit a blaring +!
I'm so excited I just don't know what to do with myself. I bought 2 additional tests and will do one each day for the next couple days. But according to the calulators I'm due Oct. 1.

I'm officially out this month :( AF showed last night, so its on to Cycle 2 for me. I'm disapointed, but I knew the odds of getting pg on the first month trying were slim. My birthday is on Friday, so it would have been a nice early birthday preasant though. Hey, atleast I will be able to have a couple of drinks. We are going to my favorite restaurant that has a rum bar and makes my favorite drink in the world. So sorry, Mrs. K. I know it's disappointing, even if it is your first month. You always hope you will be one of the rare ones that gets it on the 1st month.
You know, you plan TTC based on the time you want a baby. Ex: We decided to start TTC in Aug thinking we could have one this summer. Now I wish we hadstarted a lot earlier (well, I WAS ready a lot earlier, but it's a team decision). You never take into consideration that it will take 6months, a year, or whatever. I was thinking about this due to the question about kid spacing on the FP board. I could say I want kids 3 yrs apart, so I would want to start trying when my 1st is 2y 3m, right? You don't want to start too much earlier if you don't want 2 toddlers, on that off chance you get pg immediately, but then again, what if it takes forever? Anyway, just been on my mind a little. Guess I better get #1 on it's way 1st, huh?

Well I think if I don't get BFP this month, next month is going to be our last month of TTC for a little while. I really don't want a December, Janurary, Feburary baby. December for obvious holiday related reasons, January cause my b-day's in Jan and it was the same thing, too close to the holidays, lot of kids couldn't come to my bday parties because their parents didn't have any money after Christmas. And Feb, because Curt's sis's baby is due in Feb and as petty as this sounds it sucks to "share" a birthday, especially when you're a kid - one is always over shadowed by the other by whosever is first.
Silly reasons, but to a kid it's huge when it comes to your birthday.

Thanks eveyrone for the replies! That makes a lot more sense. I had never paid attention to having any signs (headaches, bloating, etc.) related to time of Oing, so I will definitely be on the alert. I'm on CD 18, so I think especially starting next cycle I'm going to try to keep better track of these things since I feel so unknowledgeable when it comes to my body! I do have quite a bit of a headache today, but since my cycle is generally 28 days (by the book! :p ), I'm assuming I've already Oed. Either way, we've covered are bases pretty well this month. :D
Congrats Bubelah!!!
maplekitty - I completely understand holding off a few months, especially since you can relate to the hardships of a holiday birthday. Here's to hoping that will be a non-issue to you!
DH's nieces and nephews are all December babies, so maybe that will be our lucky month as well.

Sorry about AF, MrsKinnison & tinkerbelljenny. :(
I had some weird CM yesterday and the day before. TMI alert: ;) But it was TONS. It looked creamyish and I know that at least on Friday it wasn't leftover "stuff" because we hadn't BDed in 3 days (we did later that night though). And it floated in the toilet. I thought that EWCM floated but on the toilet paper it didn't look like EW because it wasn't clear. Anyway, I just thought it was weird. If I was past the point of possible implantation I'd be pretty excited but I'm not so I guess it's nothing. It was just weird because I've never had that much before.
I hope everyone's weekend was good! :D I'm sooo not ready to go back to work. *sigh*

I am at CD13. We've been BD'ing every day since CD9 and plan on keeping it up for the rest of the month... :p I have absolutely no idea when I O, I don't temp and I notice no symptoms. So I figured that if we BD every day, we won't miss it, right? :D

First, Congratulations Bubeleh! H&H 9 months!
Ok, so if I go by my previous cycles (the regular ones:rolleyes: ) I will test around Feb. 6. I will be on CD32 by then.
Question: Does anyone get "symptoms" when you do/are about to O?
I ask because I am on CD18. I have had super sore bb's the last few days and today I seem to have a sensitivity to smell. I swear I can smell the trash in the kitchen:eek: .
I can't imagine that these are AF symptoms. I also read somewhere that sensitivity to smells is a sign of O.
Anyone care to offer their thoughts?
THANKS!!!!

Question: Does anyone get "symptoms" when you do/are about to O?
I have never really noticed anything. I will try to see if something is different next time.

Hi ladies, I'm going to come join you if that is okay. My DH and I have been TTC since July, I charted for three cycles but decided it was too much stress and my cycles are such a mess anyway. So now we are seeing what happens although we are getting a little bit of medical help, I start Clomid CD-3 on my next cycle which should be next week or so.
I look forward to catching up on everyone's stories. :)

Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to thank you all for your warm welcome and short stay wishes. This thread must be good luck because I took a HPT this afternoon and it was POSITIVE!!!! :p I'm pretty much in shock right now and totally elated. You all are actually the first ones I've told since I'm planning a special way to tell DH tomorrow evening.
Best wishes to you all,

Congrats Erica and Lily.
Let's hope that this starts a good trend.
Me - I am CD27, probably DPO 5 if I O'd my usual time. I have to say I am so tempted to test especially since I just got a 2 pack the other day and I have 1 left over from last cycle and 2 digitals (had these since right after Rebekah) so many tests around. Two months I went nuts testing so not doing that again. Waiting til next week (Sunday at least), as I will be DPO 11 and CD33, which has been my typical length, will definately be before our trip on the 3rd though. :) Here's praying we get more BFP's and I am one of them.
Hubby got a raise today, his last one was February 11 of last year, which is the same day I found out I was pregnant. So after his phone call with good news, he asked me what the results were (he knew I went to the doctor for bloodwork) told him we are expecting. At church the testimony was about 2 weeks later and he mentioned his raise and our pregnancy, people were jumping up and down for us.

I hope it all lines up for you again, Ericka, with the raise and all. I wouldnt have pegged you a testaholic! I am at 7 DPO I think, so I may be testing then too. Is 11DPO usually late enough for a 25 (whatever those units are) test?
Ericka_Jarett
01-23-2006, 08:05 PM
Thanks Jess. I will try to hold out until I am at least DPO15, but as I said we leave early on the 3rd so that would be really my cut off of next Thursday. Should know by then for sure. Unless I end up going longer in this cycle like Nov/Dec was CD38
I know it, but the last few cycles have caved, guess because it's 9 months now since Rebekah. And than we had been praying for hubby's review and pending raise, and to hear he got it today, was so exciting. We are looking to move from my brother's house as he is returning after selling his other house and he wants to start a lot of construction where we are now. My mom wants to sell her place and move back here, since myself and my brothers are here, she doesn't have my dad anymore so no reason to stay where she is. Hubby is hoping to get another trip planned for this May, since I am the Vacation Bible School director at church and that is in July, as we have a wedding early July through the church. And we were going to have the trip as a post trip after VBS, but if I am pregnant we don't want to push my being able to fly until the last possible minute, because if I am pregnant this month would be an October due date and to be in the South in the summer doesn't sound too appealing to me. NJ humidity is enough for me.

Ericka- I know what you mean, trying to plan for vacation and stuff and *possible* pregnancy. We are trying to plan a trip to Hawaii in June. What 'cha going to Brentwood for? I have some family in the Franklin area and my dad lives in south Middle TN. Just thought I'd ask!
Ericka_Jarett
01-24-2006, 04:23 AM
We are going for a VBS conference at the Brentwood Baptist Church for 2 days. Last year it was right at the headquarters in Nashville, but they had close to 500 people sign up and they only expected to have 50. They needed a bigger place this year.

Well I finally definitely got AF for sure today...no more just spotting. I am actually just glad to get on with the next cycle.
It is hard to plan a vacation this summer. I am less concerned on being able to fly and more concerned about what I'll want to do. I think will I be in my second trimester and be feeling fine? Will I be sick in the first trimester? Will I not even be pregnant by then? It makes a difference because it will help us decide where to go. It stinks when you hold off on something whether planning a vacation or buying a cute new summer outfit, since you don't really know if it is necessary to hold off. (I do it anyway, but always sit there and ask myself if it
is necessary.)

I do the same, looty. We were thinking about Disney, but I was trying to think about if I were pg, would I want to walk and walk and walk in the June heat? I love riding rides, too, and I wouldn't be able to if pg. I figure, I will be able to lay on the beach if I am pg, so we are thinking Hawaii, or maybe Virgin Islands.
Only another week or so before the test fest begins!
Ericka_Jarett
01-24-2006, 05:59 PM
Jess,
You wouldn't want to do Disney in the summer anyway, preggers or not. Too hot and humid there. You could rent a scooter though if you were pregnant as I am sure you would be tired of all the walking.
We have TN in Feb, hubby has training end of Feb thru March in FL (Disney) and I am joining him for a few days in March, then he is thinking Precious Moments Chapel in May, VBS in July and possibly FL in December again w/his son. We will see.

I'm thinking about all the weddings we have to go to this summer (5!!). Plus the one where I'm a MOH in June. Havn't bought the dress yet, 'cause I'm still hopeful that it will have to be a "maternity" dress :D

CD31 here and feeling....hmmm really tired and still very belchy. I'm kinda having AF type cramps, but not hugely, you know that "feeling" in your uterus area that just feels kinda tender. *shrug*
One thing though, is that CM is still consistently moist. Usually by now I'm drier than the sahara!!

Yeh, we have two weddings this year too. One in July and one in November. The one in November REALLY concerns me because its a good friend and I'd hate to have to miss it. I don't think I want to wait though, we'll see what happens.

I said I would test Feb 1st and then Target had the First Respose tests cheap. Of course I bought a 2 pack and tried one yesterday and one today. Both -. Of course it was silly and a waste of $$$ to test this early. I can't explain it, I knew it made no sense but I just wanted to POAS. I could rationalize it by saying, "if it's a BFN it doesn't mean anything because it's so early but it it's +..." Well, I ahve one test left and I will wait until next week. That's my new mantra.
jnshanna
01-24-2006, 08:07 PM
Well, I've decided I'm not going to test until the end of next week (if then) because I'm really not sure if/when I O'd. Plus I'll be out of town all next week and don't want to test when I'm not at home. So the earliest would be Saturday after next for me.
We have a trip planned for May to Disneyland with family and I hadn't even though about how being pg might effect that. I guess it must be the pessimist in me.

Hello all,
Just thought I'd join in the fun
Me: Roxygirl, age 26, Birthday: June 20th
DH: R, age 25
Married: July 10th, 2004
Last BCP: December 31, 2005
TTC Since: Jan 1, 2006
So I'm pretty sure nothing took this month. Of course it's my first month and I still haven't figured out the whole charting thing. We did BD around my O but still pretty sure not what we needed.
I would be able to test by this weekend and probably will just for the heck of it. I've been eating non-stop since this weekend and can't seem to get full. Then I will finally reach a full point and feel sick. Then a coule of hours later I'm hungry again. Not sure if this is a symptom or not???
Question: What does your CM become like if you are pregnant??

I'm struggling with vacation plans as well. We would love to go to Europe before having kids, but I'm not sure how traveling out of country would be if pregnant. DH's dad is also planning for the entire family to meet up at Cape Cod in late August. He's already rented condos and talks about it all the time. Of course, we don't want to tell them we're trying, but I'm hoping that by then it will be too late for me to travel.
Welcome roxy!!! Hope your stay is short and sweet!

Since we are on the subject of travel, how late into PG can you fly? My step sister is getting married in Cabo on September 13. Had I gotten pg last cycle I definately could not go, but I'm thinking that now, even if I'm PG, I could go?

Welcome Roxygirl, hope your stay is short and sweet! :)
As for the CM wehn pregnant, I aked this question before in the TTC Rookie thread. The ladies said it was very moist, not EWCM, but wet enough to wear a panty liner.
Remember also that your CM gets quite watery a few days before mense, and is often mistaken for EWCM (it sometimes will confuse people thinking it's O CM, when it's not).
Read throught the TTC Rookie thread, lots of good info in there :)

Im just sittting here waiting, not a whole lot going on. I have been feeling a whole bunch of things but they can also be because of other reasons. Not really getting my hopes up because its our first cycle. Only a few days and I will either test if i dont feel signs of af or just wait for af.
Fingers crossed!

Welcome Roxy
As for CM, when I was pregnant I always (TMI) felt moist, not so much the first 2 or 3 months (since I was almost 4 months when I found out, or I would have had a clue earlier) but in my 4th and 5th months.
Traveling - when I talked to the OB back in end of March of last year, I asked her about traveling in May and she said that I can travel all the way until I was about 4 weeks away from my due date. Best time to travel is in your 2nd trimester, when you feel your best physically. They also recommend you stay within 300 miles from home in the 3rd trimester. Most airlines don't allow travel after 36 weeks for travel in the states and 32 weeks for international travel. Remember too if you are taking a longer flightyou need to get up and walk around, so you prevent blood clots from settling into your legs, which can cause problems later. The thing is as you get closer to your due date, you can never get comfy, so you wouldn't want to travel much anyway.

Shanna - I just looked at your chart, since we are on the same cycle. It's funny we both had temp dips like 1 day apart, let's hope that is something good. :)

Since we are on the subject of travel, how late into PG can you fly
I traveled (flew) my whole first pregnancy because my Dh was living in another state at the time and I flew up until the last 2 weeks. However, I wouldn't recommend flying 2 weeks before giving birth, I was HUGE, it was so hard to fit in those tiny bathrooms and even though I was sitting first class, I was still uncomfortable. I would fly every couple of weeks and none of the employees ever asked me how far along I was. The best part of flying while being pregnant was the free upgrades and being able to board before everyone else!
Welcome Roxy! Are you suppose to get AF anytime soon?

Houseblend- A good friend of mine went on trip to Europe at 5 months pg. and had a ball! It was with her husband and a college grad class or something and they did all the touring stuff.
I am trying desperately not to read too much into anything, but you girls...!!!!!!
I was JUST wondering about the CM question because I seem to have a LOT lately! I also had a little temp dip, but don't know how much of one is considered enough to be implantation. I am thinking I will break down and test Sat, but if (-) then, not until like Wed. I think.

Hey Twylla, how long are your cycles usually? We're on the same cycle days, and last month AF showed on CD37 for me. I SSOOOOOOOO want to test right now, because I'm trying to justify *if* I O'd early then I'm more than enough DPO's to test, but if I O'd later in teh cycle, then I should wait till next week. ACk!!!

Good luck to all the ladies testing soon! I hope that you all create a BFP streak in here.
As far as traveling, by plane I had heard the same thing as Ericka. I don't fly a lot at all but I know a long car ride isn't going to be fun or comforable either. Since we won't be booking any plane tickets I figure we can change it up a little closer to the time we want if we need to.
Tazluv--I am in the same boat. One of my good friends is planning on getting married at the end of October and has already told me she wants me in the wedding. (Her bf hasn't propsed yet but is planning to in the next month or two and they have already decided that is the month it is going to happen.) I am hoping that I have an idea what is going on with being pg by the time she asks me officially. I would hate to miss it but at the same time if it may be too close I wouldn't want to commit to it and then risk not being able to come through. I have decided that I am not going to worry about it too much until it happens. Can't you tell?:p
Currently on CD 2 here. I have a long wait if last cycle (45 days) is any indication. I hope this cycle is much shorter.
Jess71903, Pacificbliss, Ericka Jarett, Maple Kitty, TazLuv, Looty, Houseblend, Yolanda, Twylla - Ahhh, thanks ladies. You guys are the sweetest bunch. Best wishes to you all, and I hope to see some of you in the Oct. 06 Mommies thread. :)

Sadly, I'm usually all over the board. My cycles have been very crazy since going off BCP about 15 months ago, I wish I could help you more. I'm dying over here too... every little twinge could possibly be a symptom, kwim? See if you can hold out until CD37... then test since that would be 'officially' late if you go by your last cycle, lol. Any symptoms for you? It would be fun to start an October 2006 Mommas thread.....

Bummer! :( My first month i didn't keep track, but i think it was pretty close to 28 days, second cycle was 28 days, and third cycle was 37 days?? Ugh, so I'm kinda waiting for this cycle to be the determining cycle, you know. If it's 37 days again then I can atleast *sort of* have a better guestimate on my O days.
I'm dying over here too... every little twinge could possibly be a symptom, kwim?....... Any symptoms for you? It would be fun to start an October 2006 Mommas thread.....
umm...I hate thinking anything is an actualy "symptom", but should this be the month I guess it's fun to look back at what were early detectors.
I've been very belchy for no reason. I'll belch in the morning before food, then it doesn't matter if I eat a huge meal or drink a glass of water, I'm belchy. It's crazy!
My CM has been consistantly moist, and hasn't "dried up"???
When I sleep on my stomach at night, my stomach really hurts. Not the insides, but it feels like it's hurting the skin, the actual skin is tender?? (not that I'd thinking anything is "stretching", lol since I've already got a belly to begin with, ha!
And I'm really really tired, I can sleep till noon each morning if I could, and I'm just exhasuted all day.
So does that mean I'm pregnant or are these my new PMS signs, who knows? We shall find out!!

This is nuts. I got had a dream last night that I was contemplating whether or not to go ahead and test. In the end I did and it was a BFP. It was so sad when I woke up! In my dream, I was even composing a BFP post to you guys in my head!! I hope this is a premonition and not just a dream!

That is some dream Jess. I hope you do get to compose a BFP post to us on testing day.
My temp went up today .1 degree. I was so tempted to test this morning, but I know it's too early.
Hi everyone, sorry I have been MIA. My grandmother passed away last week so I've been all over the place.
I'm currently CD 16 - who if my cycle will be messed up or what. I can tell you that it put DTD on the back burner :o oh well.
Anyway, congrats to the BFPs!! :D And good luck to everyone else.
I don't think I'm definitely "out" for this cycle; I truly am just "seeing what happens." I'm actually not too fixated on pregnancy this month - if it happens, it happens. If not, there's always next month :)

Wow, what a dream Jess. I had really vivid dreams last night. One was about my really close friend (that's been having a lot of pg symptoms lately) and she sent me an email with a picture of her test to tell me she got a BFP. I was excited for her but felt this horrible pit in my stomach and almost burst into tears. Sheesh!
I hope that dip means something too, Ericka. :D I'm still not feeling very confident that I O'd because I haven't had a consistant rise. :( And my temps are REALLY low this month (just like last month).
Sorry so late, but congrats Lily!
I feel bad that I don't have time for proper SO's. I'm keeping up with the thread though and wish everyone luck testing! :D I'm just so busy at work that I barely have any time to eat, let alone catch up online. But I guess I really shouldn't be doing that at work anyway, right? LOL

I am hoping all of these dreams are good things! I have a ? though...my face started breaking out like right after O. Since I now know what hormone is in control after O, can progesterone cause breakouts? This is the one thing I am really missing about BC!! I have never had bad, pitting acne, but man, I look like a 13 year old today! Just trying to tell myself it could be something besides AF coming, and since it totally quit while on BC I am sure it is hormonal.

Hi guys! It's been quiet today! So, I think I am going to have to break down and test in the morning...I will be at 12 DPO and hubby will be at home. How funny is that?)
We also just decided for sure that we are going to St. Croix this summer and I am super excited! I have never been somewhere tropical like that! Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy, "fruitful" weekend! I will let yall know test results ASAP, no matter what the outcome.

Happy Birthday MrsKinnison!
Jess71903 that trip sounds awesome. I would love to go to St. Croix. Sorry about the -, but like you said it doesn't mean you are out yet. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Twylla BM dress shopping sounds like fun. I still miss doing all that for my wedding. Now I'm just waiting on either of my cousins or my brother and his girlfriend to get married so I can do it all again with them. :p
CD3 for me. Not much going on. Chris and I had a talk about our BDing timing. We are going to make more of an effort to be really consistant when the time is right. He comprimised and said to give him a couple of days notice. As in "by this weekend we need to start BDing a lot in order to get our baby". He said that after that I'm not to bring up that we're trying to make a baby. Just leave it to him and we'll BD at least every other day for at least that whole week. It was just becoming really hard to try and get him in the mood without him realizing the reason behind it. So we are trying this and see how it goes. We are just not normally the kind of couple who BDing two days in a row. We're really more like a once a week couple, unfortunatly. So I can seduce him once but it's really hard to have a repeat the next day without him feeling like "it's only for a baby". But he's just going to have to suck it up because we are never going to make a baby this way. So I'm hoping this month will be much more productive.

Axtiously waiting to test on monday.....must control the nervous twitch in my leg...pulling me towards to bathroom drawer with the HPT!!!!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother ctjo. You're in my thoughts.
Happy late birthday to Mrs. Kinnison! Hope it was a good one!
Sorry to the ladies that had AF show up. I hope next month brings a different result for all of us!
Good luck testing Maplekitty! It sounds promising!
I am just on CD 6. We are still seeing what happens this month but I got a fertility monitor to see if that will help me pin point O better since it has been a little sporatic. Hopefully this will help!

I tested on sat (12dpo) and it was a bfn. Im not going to test every month i just wanted to get all the testing excitement out of the wy coz theres no way we could afford me testing every month, waste of money!
It could have been too early but Im pretty sure af is on her way, due tomorrow so we shall see!
Jess71903
01-29-2006, 12:49 PM
Squee, you and I are on the same cycle. I tested Sat., also CD 12 for me, and I am due tomorrow or so. I don't know what about it got me this month, but it was the first time I had tested before AF was due.
I agree, maple, it does sound promising. I can't believe you have been able to wait to test! Good luck in the morning!!!
Even though AF hasn't showed and nothing is for sure yet, I am feeling so depressed today. I go through this whole thought progression every cycle.
Beginning of month- depressed due to arrival of AF
Middle of month- encouraged and optimistic. Seems like it could happen
End of month- depressed again..."hasn't worked so far so why should this month be any different" This is before any kind of confirmation of (-)... I donno...PMS maybe

Good luck with the testing Maplekitty, Jess and Squee!
AF showed up today, which means I only had a 24 day cycle with a 9 day LP. I usually have pretty short cycles, but this is the shortest I've tracked so far. Part of me wants to call the doctor and see if she'll run some tests, but the other part just wonders if I should just keep waiting to see what happens.

Sorry about AF Delaney
Jess Don't give up hope yet! It's your only chart so theres nothing to compare it to, however it is looking really nice. If AF is due tomorrow, I would not have expected to see your highest temp be todays. My fingers are crossed for you!!!
I am on CD9, and back to being excited and nervous all at the same time :D I will O sometime between CD12 and CD17, but usually on CD14. Anyone else in the same place? I feel like I am completely off of everyone elses cycle and I would really like to have some buddies!!
We spontaneously decide to re-do the kitchen (DIY), and bought new cabinets today. Hubby has just about ripped out all of the old ones, and I am w/o a sink for now. I figured it would be easier to paint with the cabinets out, so we're going to try to pick up paint tomorrow. Oh, and we are hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday  I'm pretty sure we are out of our minds!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Good luck to all those still waiting for BFP's!!!

Morning ladies!!!!!!!!!!!
Well what a morning it has been for me, it's only 6:44 am on the east coast and I can't go back to sleep. I am wide awake and seems like it was that way yesterday as well.
I have so many thoughts going through my head as I have to get packing for our trip to TN which is on Friday, then I think of when I come home I have to get things washed and packed for Jarett to go to FL for his conference, with me following soon after, possibly a trip in May, wedding in end of June-early July, VBS in mid July and then some time to rest until October, which will then get busy with diapers, feedings and lack of sleep :) Yup you got it ladies, I got 2 BFP's this morning !!!!

Sometimes I visit in here when (in my bedrest boredom) I need a little pick-me-up, and a pregnancy announcement usually seems to do the trick. For some reason I knew I should check this morning and now I have to jump in to say....
ERICKA!!!!!! I am so, so, so, so, extremely happy for you! I wish you a very happy and healthy nine months. Your precious angel is going to be a big sister! I know this has been a long road for you, and believe me when I say,the next nine months will have its moments too...but I'm so thrilled for your BFP! Congrats!!!! Thanks for making my day. :D

Thanks for the encouragement Mrs. K and Delaney, but unfortunately, I started spotting yesterday afternoon and AF showed for good this morning. It was a rough night, but DH is being really sweet. Looks like my dog may be having puppies today, though, so that will keep me busy for a while!
Sorry I can't help you on the cycle buddy thing, Mrs. K. It is nice to have buddies. Guess I will see all of you in the Feb thread. BOOOO!!!

Congratulations to Ericka, Emily, & Sarah!!! H&H nine months to you all, yay!!!!
I've got plenty of symptoms... nausea, headachey, tired, sore bbs.... but i'm holding out on testing. I keep fearing a BFN. I did have a dream last night that we had a baby boy. We named him Peter Chase, which is odd since we'd never considered the name Peter, and while Chase is a fine name, it wouldn't sound nice with our last name. Anyway... I'm hoping the series of dream I had last night are another symptom.....

Shanna,
No problem about getting you a volunteer. Also thanks for the Congrats. We are thrilled. I just e-mailed an old high school friend that I finally got in touch with after not seeing her in almost 14 yrs now (ugh, I feel old saying that) She is thrilled and wants to help with a shower and everything. And to top it off I get in from an errand and I have a new Babies "R" Us catalog. (I use to toss them after I loss Rebekah, getting this one made me smile though :) )
Shanna, I must say you have a nice temp rise going on though, so don't give up just yet girl.

I picked up some tests today... I have a lot of symptoms, but I almost don't want to test yet since I'm almost 'afraid' or a BFN... anyone relate? Anyway, I think I'll test tomorrow and save the other for this weekend..... but I hope I won't need it. lol. DH came down pretty sick all night, so now I'm thinking maybe my nausea and stuff has been b/c of a bug... sigh. I guess I might find out tomorrow morning, right?

Twylla-I wish you luck on testing tomorrow! Let us know right away! I have my fingers crossed for you.
I am feeling a lot of symptoms, too.
~Really tired
~Sore BB's for 2 weeks now
~Contacts are bugging me on a daily basis (i heard this can be a true pg symptom)
~Pretty cranky
~nausea
~I have been an emotional wreck! I have been crying at the drop of a hat
~Daily headaches
I won't be able to test until Monday, though.
Anyone scared/nervous to tell your boss when you do get pg?
I am really nervous...just because I know i am young. I just worry about what they will say behind my back about me being so young. I worry way too much about what other people think.
