Gwen Stefani Is Sperminated!
We just read in Star magazine that Gwen Stefani is pregnant. And, if we read it in Star then it must be true. After all, these are the people that said last month that Jessica Simpson is preggers.
However, word on the street and in concert arenas across the country is that Miss Estefani really is filled with the beautiful baby sperm of that oh-so-pretty manwhich, her husband Gavin Rossdale.
And, the tell-tale sign of Gwen's baby joy is in the clothes! A fashion maven, Stefani proudly bared her killer gams and rock-hard abs during her recent solo tour. However, at the latest stops of the show, her belly-barring tees and Daiy Duke shorts have been replaced with skirts and shirts that cover her belly.
Oh yeah, baby on board. It's a hollaback girl y'all!Source: Perez Hilton (http://www.perezhilton.com/topics/gwen_stefani/gwen_stefani_is_sperminated_20051215.php)

Is Gwen Stefani Pregnant?
Has Gwen’s life-long dream to become a mom already come true?
First hand info from the livejournal community - lamb_lovers - a girl who went to a Gwen Stefani show this week and was on stage with her:
“…I went to the show in Chicago a little over a month ago, and many of her costumes were these little booty short numbers. Well, now the booty shorts have these skirts covering them with a convenient pleat right up the center, over the tummy.”
In November she was wearing the tiny shorts. Now they have skirts on them? We need photos to confirm this. And she wore these strange no stomach showing/not clinging dresses the other night at the Billboard Music Awards. And - she has postponed a new solo album release to take a break. Hmmm….
If it is true - she is probably waiting until the tour is over to announce it, as well as maybe waiting until she’s over 3 months. I know she would feel like if she told her fans they would think the remaining shows wouldn't be as good or people would think differently of it.
We hope this is true! Stay tuned!

Gwen Stefani Pregnant - You Heard It Here First!
Posted on Tuesday 13 December 2005
Photos from the Harajuku Lovers 2005 Tour show in Toronto last week turned up to show the change in Gwen Stefani’s tour outfits:

Going from tight booty shorts to a longer front pleated skirt proves our theory that Gwen could very well be expecting, but it is too soon to release the news to the media. Her tour is over on the 21st of December, so watch for an announcement soon.Source: http://lauralatham.com/wordpress/?p=197

What's Gwen really like? Does your friend ever tell stories you could share?

Nope no stories. We've never really asked. She's been on tour with her, so we haven't seen her in ages. Last time she called was a few months ago and she wanted us to go to the show a few weeks ago (but we didn't).

The oufit is from when she performs the new single "luxurious" it has a "hip hop" edge to it. Check out the video it is pretty much the same as she is dressed. I love it and her only for the reason that she is so unique and loves to keep her fans guessing. I love her originality! :)

I hope so! And if she is just recently starting to cover up her bump maybe she will be my due date buddy!!! How cool would that be! I've been waiting for someone famous that I like to be due around the same time as me. I still might have to settle for Matt Damon's baby if those rumors are true.

The costume changes give the rumor some weight. :DThat it does. Why else go the cover up route when you've got a body like she does unless there's something to cover up??

I had the hugest crush on Gavin Rossdale back in the day! :p My abs are decent, but Gwen's are great - if mine were like that, you'd better believe I'd be showing off onstage! I agree with everyone else - the fact that she's all of a sudden covering up is a big sign.

When she was on the 2005 Billboard Music Awards a couple of weeks ago the first thing out of FI's mouth about her was "Is Gwen pregnant?" She was wearing a white dress with a big knot over her belly for the awards and then changed into a short dress when she performed that looked like a lamp shade. She looks like she is pg and she is def dressing like she is.

The radio station here in Nashville was talking about her since she's coming into town on Sunday. Apparently she and Gavin were spotted walking OUT of a LA clinic together (not sure when-just recently). The girls went on to discuss how there are only a few reasons you would take your husband to the doctor with you and baby-stuff is one of them. They went on to speculate that even if Gwen wasn't pregnant, that those two were definitely working on it!!!
I hope she's pregnant too-she would make a great mom I think!

There have been rumblings that Gwen Stefani has become pregnant and that is the reason she is holding off on releasing her second solo album. Pink reader Jenn caught Gwen in concert on the 17th in Columbus, OH and sends in this picture:

I suppose she could just be carrying normal weight ... but that tummy does look a little pregs to me. Personally, I think Gwen Stefani would make a very cool mom ... I guess we'll have to wait and see. [thanks Jen]Source: Pink Is The New Blog (http://trent.blogspot.com/)

It's not that she has changed her outfits from this tour..... she has changed her normal performance attire. I've been following Gwen's music for a LONG time, and I've seen several performances over the years..... I can not recall a single instance of covered belly EVER!
I hope it's true!

Stefani reportedly pregnant with first child
No Doubt singer is married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale
Updated: 1:35 p.m. ET Dec. 20, 2005
NEW YORK - Gwen Stefani, nominated for five Grammy Awards including album of the year for “Love.Angel.Music.Baby.,” is pregnant with her first child, according to Us Weekly.
The 36-year-old pop star and Gavin Rossdale, 38, were married three years ago. The baby is due in June, the magazine reported Tuesday.
“We are delighted,” Us Weekly quotes Rossdale’s father, Douglas, as saying. Stefani’s mother, Patti, also reportedly confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine.
An e-mail from The Associated Press to Stefani’s representative wasn’t immediately returned Tuesday.
Rossdale has a 16-year-old daughter, Daisy Lowe, from his relationship with fashion designer Pearl Lowe. He discovered he was the father in 2004 after taking a DNA test.
“Love.Angel.Music.Baby.” is Stefani’s first solo album. It includes one of the biggest songs of the year, “Hollaback Girl.” That infectious single also earned Stefani a nomination for record of the year and best female pop vocal performance.
She is the lead singer of No Doubt and a budding fashion designer.
The British-born Rossdale fronted the rock band Bush, which released the popular 1994 album, “Sixteen Stone.” They last released the 2001 album, “Golden State,” as well as a greatest hits CD in November.

My sister is a chef at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, and Gwen was there last night with Gavin Rossdale and a lot of other people. I asked her if she looked preggo, but they're not allowed to speak to celebraties... :( But she did eat a steak!
I'm thinking she's totally pregnant. She's too fit to carry around belly weight.

Gwen Stefani: I'm Pregnant
Wednesday Dec 21, 2005 10:30pm EST
Pop star Gwen Stefani and her husband of three years, Bush guitarist-frontman Gavin Rossdale, are expecting their first child together. She announced the big news Wednesday night during a concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., her final U.S. tour stop.
No other details were immediately available.
Stefani, 36 – who during her current break from No Doubt is up for five Grammys (including album of the year) for her first solo effort, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. – and Rossdale, 38, married in September 2002 in two separate ceremonies on both sides of the Atlantic.
A U.K. wedding took place at St. Paul's Church in London's Covent Garden, while another was held in Los Angeles two weeks later.
The pair's rock romance dates back to 1995, when No Doubt opened for Bush at the time of Bush's debut album, Sixteen Stone, and No Doubt's second disc, Tragic Kingdom.
While Stefani had been singing about her wedding day for years (with such not-so-subtle musical hints as "Marry Me"), Rossdale finally proposed to her on New Year's Day 2002.
Rossdale also has a 16-year-old daughter, Daisy Lowe, from his relationship with fashion designer Pearl Lowe. He discovered he was the father in 2004 after taking a DNA test.
His group, Bush, last released the 2001 album, Golden State, as well as a greatest hits CD. Rossdale's latest band, Institute, released its debut album earlier this year.

Gwen Has A Message For You!
"I want you to sing so loud that the baby hears it," a radiant Gwen Stefani instructed the rapt crowd at the Bank Atlantic Center, just north of Miami, during the last show of her Harajuku Lovers tour.
Those statements were the first official confirmation from Gwen herself that she is indeed sperminated!
An emotional Stefani cried more than once during the show. "This is the end of a huge chapter for me," said the future babymomma of Mr. Gavin Rossdale. "I don't know how to feel," she added. "This is such a wierd show. I am totally relieved, but I also feel so sad."
But sadness was nowhere present in the arena as Gwen and her tight band and troupe of dancers tore it up through every song on her solo album, plus two new tunes. From start to finish, no one sat down during the entire show, which was littered with everyone from Stefani's adoring legion of gay fans to adorably cute lil' girls as young as three or four.
"I didn't even plan to tour, but I just wanted to hear you all singing back to my songs," confessed Gwen, who also was very appreciative for all the support from her fans, which included many "Congratulations on the Baby" posters.
"Thank you for all your years of support," said Stefani, who patted her expanding baby belly just as she walked off the stage for the last time, leaving her fans and friends with a truly beautiful image to remember their idol.

From the Los Angeles Times:
Love, music and soon an angel baby
SUNRISE, Fla. — According to the almanac, Wednesday was the winter solstice — the shortest day of the year — but for Gwen Stefani it was a long, melancholy slog spent in an anonymous arena in this bland suburb of Fort Lauderdale.
On the closing night of her first solo tour, which she describes as an uneven affair, Stefani found herself short of breath by the third song and staring out at a surprisingly listless crowd. She exhorted the fans at the Bank Atlantic Center to make some noise, and the crowd of mostly daughters and mothers stirred a bit. Then she tried it again with a different approach: "I want you to do this so loud the baby hears you!"
The crowd went wild.
Just like that the week's worst kept celebrity secret was officially surrendered, and Stefani, who has been struggling through fatigue and distraction for weeks, pushed herself through the rest of the show like a marathon runner on finish-line fumes. By the time she donned her famous majorette uniform (which was recently altered for her changing figure) and yelped through the "Hollaback Girl" finale, the show was as much about spirit and sentiment as it was about sound.
Afterward, backstage, her husband, rock singer Gavin Rossdale, videotaped the tearful scene as Stefani said goodbye to the tour's backup dancers and musicians: "I'm so sad, but I'm so glad it's over. I'm so glad."
The tour was never supposed to happen; Stefani was, of course, famous as the lead singer of No Doubt, the Orange County band that began as a scruffy ska-loving outfit but, through music videos and an increasingly burnished sound, became a pop powerhouse in the late 1990s. The Police and Madness were the music models in those early days, but last year Stefani wanted to get in touch with the urban pop hits she grew up singing to her bedroom mirror in Anaheim in the 1980s. She also wanted to play dress up.
The result was a solo project, "Love.Angel.Music.Baby.," that she describes as a lark, a chance to work with Dr. Dre (as well as Pharrell Williams, Andre 3000, Linda Perry and others) and make videos like Madonna. The album dips into hip-hop, R&B, disco and pure pop.
That dilettante approach is fitting for Stefani; she recently made her debut as a film actress (she was Jean Harlow in "The Aviator"), fashion show organizer (to promote L.A.M.B., her successful line of clothing and purses) and, oddly, a gizmo designer (she lent her name to a turquoise digital camera sold by Hewlett-Packard).
Some of that may be dismissed as pop-culture overkill, but that "lark" musical project has led to five Grammy nominations, including one for album of the year.
Before taking the stage at the Sunrise show, Stefani shook her head when asked about competing with U2 and Paul McCartney for the music industry's top accolade. "I still don't believe," she said solemnly. "I really don't."
The album is one of the 10 bestsellers of 2005, with 2.4 million sold in the United States alone. It has also made Stefani a heroine to the Barbie set. Once upon a time, Stefani looked out on No Doubt crowds and saw tattoos and Dr. Martens — now she sees tiaras and braces.
That fact and impending motherhood raise a natural question: Is No Doubt still living up to its name, or is Stefani, like her hero Sting, destined to be a pop blond in a solo spotlight?
"No, I don't think so. But I have always known what was coming next, until now," Stefani said backstage before the South Florida show. "I do know that I can't do anything unless it's real and I feel it. I have to be inspired. And right now, I feel completely depleted of creative inspiration."
The plan now is to return to her London home with Rossdale and "eat pizza" and avoid interviews. Then, in February, she plans to attend the Grammys in Los Angeles but will not perform. "I will be, what, 5 1/2 months pregnant by then, and wearing the band uniform? I don't think so."
Stefani chomped on an apple while a hairdresser teased her hair.
"I am so emotional right now. I'm going to cry like 100 times, OK? This tour, in a way, was ruined by me being pregnant. It took away from me wanting to get up there. I was getting bigger and I was always tired. Thank God the crowd was there every night to turn me around."
The crowd that sang along with Stefani on Wednesday night was the type she has seen throughout the road run: young, female and adoring. Stefani said the tour had its share of clunker nights ("Some nights I felt like I should say 'I'm sorry' ") but that the fans didn't seem to care. Looking out on an audience last week in Verona, N.Y., she was struck by the sight of a cluster of girls, all about 8 or 9, wearing makeup and bedazzled expressions.
"It was a Disney show for me, you know? It's so different than it used to be. They were desperately singing back every lyric. The look on their faces was like: 'Look, that's Cinderella up on stage.' And they make me feel like it."
This is all fine and good, but fans of No Doubt might be ready for Stefani to quit playing princess. And no matter what Stefani says now, there's cause to wonder whether motherhood and hip-hop beats will change the rhythm of Stefani's career for good. She points out, though, that the absence of No Doubt songs from her solo tour's set list is a reminder that the band's hits belong to the group, not to her.
"This tour is cheesy and girly and I love it," she said. "This is its own thing."
If there was a defining moment in the public life of No Doubt it may have been the music video for "Don't Speak," the plaintive 1996 hit that put the band's internal pressures on display. The video showed the young band reenacting moments of tension that were pretty close to reality. One of the scenes shows the other members of the band — bassist Tony Kanal, drummer Adrian Young and guitarist Tom Dumont — fuming as Stefani becomes the focal point of press attention.
"It haunted us," Stefani said. "It was a really honest video, but we had to sit on a couch together for a year and half and answer the same questions every night and every interview."
Kanal was a producer on Stefani's solo project, and the two (who were romantically involved years ago — another subplot to the No Doubt saga) keep in touch. Stefani said she did fret that Young and Dumont would watch her current solo success and worry about what it meant for the band.
"Going on tour without them, I felt like I was cheating," said Stefani, who made it clear that No Doubt is not over. "We've been a band for 18 years. None of this was expected. Just like the pregnancy too. I'm sure everybody's wondering how this is all going to turn out."
With that in mind, Stefani carefully weighed her options in announcing her big news.
"I'm really horrible with secrets," Stefani said. "It's amazing we kept it quiet as long as we did, I suppose. People were really supportive .... The tabloid stuff is so ridiculous."
In the end, the news that Stefani, 36, was with child was reported by Us Weekly. "They called my father-in-law in England. He's a retired doctor and just the sweetest man. And they said something like, 'Congratulations, it's confirmed, everybody knows.... And he was like, 'Uh, well, we're delighted.' Oops. Then it was like a wildfire."
Stefani has enjoyed a relatively low-key life in London — No Doubt made her a star here, but it was not until this pop album that she really reached an intense celebrity level in London. She used to get asked for autographs by people who thought she was Madonna — now she's anxious that her new strata of recognition will draw the paparazzi to her doorstep.
"We'll see how it goes," she said. "There's so many things that are going to change, you know? And I don't know what my passion will be when the baby comes. I don't know anything."
She does know one thing: After the show, leaning against a wall and rolling her eyes, she put her hand on her stomach and smiled. "I don't ever have to wear those clothes again."
