March/April/May 2004 Mommies!

Can you believe it! Our babies are hitting 1 1/2 years old! I know most of us have migrated from the WC. I wanted to have a reunion.

Edited to ask:

Does anyone with babies born in Spring of 2004 want this thread?

Or maybe This could be a March 2004 thread? As I see the threads are going by month and not season..

I know it is crazy how fast she is growing up! Eighteen months old!!!!

I do want this thread...I searched for it for a long time here...AND I already have my first question which is:

When should you start potty training. My baby knows when she is going to go and I think she could do it. She's definitely interested. But she's only 18 mos. I don't know anyone that has potty trained that young.

Ah, well...maybe we'll wait 'til December or so--I'll have more free time then. Like, no free time but a little bit more.

Still, that's what I was looking to ask.

Isn't anyone up for some toddler talk? Dontcha wanna talk about all the cute things they do? She counted up to thirteen! In Spanish....C'mon! It's so fun to blather on and on about your baby and who else understands but us?

Miel - So glad to see you!

About the potty training. I'm going to get a little potty to put in the corner of the bathroom just to introduce. My boy understands when I am going to the bathroom and she wants to sit on the "big" potty all the time.

My boy is a bit slower on the talking. I asked about it at his last doctor appt last monday and the dr. suggested a therapy evaluation. I think that is a *bit* much but I want to wait until he's two, in March.

Right now he says only "mama" "papa" "bye" "up" and he imitates words alot but he knows what things are and understands direction. That is why i'm not to worried.

So lets do a toddler chat!
