Depending on the phone, you can get a data cable (or use IR ports if you have them) and software to make your own ringtones.

Currently I'm rotating a bunch of 80s and classical pieces, but I just did up "All Star" and am going to do "Walking on the Sun" and "Time Warp" tomorrow.

my phone (samsung) has an actual "fun site" that lets you download wallpapers or ringtons and they will be sent to your phone.

A few years ago I had the 90210 theme song which I thought was just *SO* funny until my phone started ringing in an elevator jam packed with suits here at work. So jam packed that I couldn't get to my phone so I just stood there red as a beet as that song played on and on and people gave me that "No you DID NOT download that" look.

A few Saturdays ago our neighbors were out back drinking from 3ish in the afternoon on. My husband and I joined them at about 5ish. We remained out back drinking with them until about way too late-ish. Past history (and the polyphonic first few bars of Warren G's "Regulate") tells us that when I drink a few too many I tend to think it's HIL-arious to download random ringtones.

Fast forward to the following Monday.

I'm in "White House/Black Market" over during lunch perusing the sales to find a dress for an upcoming wedding. If you are not familliar, White House/Black Market is a very nice store. (http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com ) Where I normally could definitely not afford to shop if not for the sale. Actually I couldn't afford to shop 95% of the stuff on sale either. So a lot of the people working there and the people shopping there tend to be rather affluent and sometimes a bit on the snooty side. And then came me. I'm walking around trying to pretend that I'm looking at some of the things not on sale so I don't look too cheap when my phone starts "ringing". Only it's not ringing. It's talking. And it alllll comes rushing back to me.....

So there I am, $78 tank top in hand that I am SO not going to buy , and in my purse - on the HIGHEST volume - I hear ... freaking .... STAN:

(at this point I drop to my knees on the floor with my big 'ol purse trying to find my phone. It continues)

(STILL can't find my phone!!!! People are staring at me as tho I just asked if they had any Bon Jovi t-shirts in stock.)

Me: Uhhhh apparently I downloaded a SouthPark ringtone on Saturday night and applied it as my main ringer and completely forgot about it until 2 minutes ago when Stan's voice started coming out of my purse!!

Same reaction as most of the ladies in the store. I was going to go into an explanation of how Stan only needed a picture of his mother's breasts to pay the sixth graders to protect him from Trent Boyett - a former preschool classmate who has been in juvenile hall for the past 5 years - and in the end didn't even ask her for it as he chose to take a picture of Cartman's butt photoshopped to look like breasts which TOTALLY tricked the 6th graders - But then I thought better of it.

Now my ringtone is just a plain old ring!!!! :)

I just have the basic rings in my phone. I do assign certain rings to certain people, mostly to alert me if it's my MIL calling and DD is near the phone. I can yell "DON'T OPEN IT" and know it's MIL I'm avoiding, and not someone I actually want to talk to.
